Hill-Fort Hotel in Kutaisi

We felt there like home away from home.
This is probably the best guesthouse you may find in Kutaisi, so we decided to stay there again on our way back from Svaneti to Tbilisi. The host Natia and her dachshund Maylo are extremely friendly and cute. Natia speaks english and easy reachable via WA. Guests have a huge common area while staying - kitchen and terrace with stunning city view, where you can find everything you need: kettle, oven, microwave, all kinds of dishes, cooking oil, TV, even some boardgames and tea. There is even a swimming pool available in summer period.
The location is on the hill 5 min by car from the city center, and you can park within the guesthouse territory.
The only issue that we had there is the bathroom od our room - as there is neither shower cabin nor curtain, we had all the tiles covered by water after taking the shower, it is not a big deal since we had the slippers provided, but you need to be careful as the tiles become very slippery indeed

Highly recommend. Family run business up on the hill next to the City. Can go down with the cable car. Big rooms and very friendly owners. Big terrace on the top of the house with kitchen for Guests. Small swimming pool on the garden. Very nice options for families.

I can confidently say this is the best place to stay in Kutaisi. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The property boasts an amazing and beautiful view, complemented by the friendly presence of their dogs. During our 5-day stay, they also acted as our guides, providing invaluable insights into the local area. What's more, they charged significantly less compared to other tourism options in Kutaisi. The owner, a gentleman of exceptional kindness, even took us to local shops and treated us to authentic, spicy local cuisine that you won't find in restaurants.

It was incredibly convenient and a truly immersive experience. As we bid farewell, they generously gifted us some homemade wine, a gesture that encapsulated their warmth and hospitality.

This trip will be forever cherished in our hearts. Thank you very much! ❤️

A lovely family. Nadia is very kind to tend to all your needs! The place has everything you need for an immediate need. It is closer to the town and you can access the place only with a ride as it is into the remote zone. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and IT was all fine. Thank you again😊. Oh and the family also has beautiful little Milo who is a total sweetheart!

It was a very pleasant and nice surprise as I didn't think much while booking this guest house, but after reaching there it was such a refreshing experience with the view of the city with mountains around and the interior of the place was awesome. Since it was sunny we had to turn the Air conditioner on but everything was great. The main attraction was the rooftop which gives very good vibes where you can have some homemade wine and sit back and just relax while enjoying the views.
There was also a swimming pool here which is not what you would expect at this location normally which was great in front of our room.
All in all I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to this part of kutaisi, Georgia.
You can stay and walk to the city while enjoying all the major attractions of the city.
