Charming small hotel. Family run with helpful hosts and great service. Rooms have good heating.
A reasonable breakfast buffet.
The view of the mountains from both sides of rooms is great. Try to get the one with Kazbeg mountain view however the other side is equally beautiful.
The shared area is very cutely decorated with books and has a warm atmosphere with a great view
Only improvement would be the beds. A bit small and flimsy (I'm a bit overweight)but otherwise a great stay.
Totally recommend it!

We had a very upsetting experience with this host. From the start, she was unwelcoming. The situation escalated to the point where we felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we had to leave the property at 12:30 AM with all our luggage—just the two of us, two girls, in the middle of the night. Despite the circumstances, she showed no empathy and refused to offer any refund. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommend this Hotel! Very friendly people. The owners are super helpful and their breakfast is amazing. We had a very comfortable stay. Will surely come back!

Charming Family Hotel with a Beautiful View – but Limited Communication

This is a charming and cozy family-run hotel. The staff are very kind and welcoming, although communication was quite difficult. The owners, who were the only ones who spoke a bit of English, were rarely present during our stay, which made things more challenging.

Our room was small but had a stunning view, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was included and very good – fresh and satisfying.

One downside: there was no WiFi for an entire day during our stay. Since we needed to make plans for the next day, this caused some stress. Combined with the language barrier, it made it quite hard to communicate or ask for help.

Overall, a warm and pleasant place to stay, but be prepared for limited English and occasional connectivity issues.

It seemed family run. We were greeted so kindly by the host and her husband helped us with our bags (mind you two 20 kg bags lifted with ease). It feels like a cozy inn. The location is nice too, we got to walk around the town area without much difficulty. Ofcourse, it's in the mountains so expect a lot of uphill and down hill walks. Taxi in kazbegi is expensive. Breakfast as also nice. Rooms were clean and well kept. We had complementary tea packets, kettle, and cups. Would recommend this place.

As a place Stepantsminda is a beautiful town and this hotel has some mesmerizing views of the mountains on both the sides. Though the hotel is around 700-800 meters walk from city center, but good for the reason a lot of trucks keep passing the city to cross Russian borders which is a big disturbance at night. The hotel is taken care by the family and the lady owner is so caring and accommodating. She will take care of all the needs. Breakfast was with plenty of options. Rooms are small but clean and so is the washroom as well. They gave separate bed for child and rooms were with proper heating arrangements. All in all an amazing and memorable experience, better to have your own vehicle to go around the town or for excursions.

This is a super place! I recommend everything to everyone. Absolutely amazing view from the room! The balcony is love! Owners are friendly people, smiling, children, dogs! Breakfast is warm and homemade.
