Hotel Tbilisi Garden in Tbilisi

The hotel is centrally located, with Carrefour nearby, which is convenient. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, but the service is a major issue.

During cold weather, we found that there was no hot water in the room. Calling the reception was impossible as none of the common numbers worked, so we had to go down in person to complain. We were assured that the issue would be fixed in five minutes, but after an hour, nothing changed. Another trip to the reception only resulted in being told it would take even longer.

Additionally, basic amenities were lacking—there were no glasses provided to drink hot water, requiring yet another visit downstairs. The breakfast was also disappointing—cold and with very few options.

Overall, while the location and cleanliness are positives, the poor service and lack of responsiveness made for a frustrating stay. Would not recommend unless these issues are improved.

I reserved a room with two single beds, but the room I was assigned had only one double bed. It was so small that two single beds could not fit into it. The lights would not turn on and there were no towels, so I showered (no bath in the extremely small "bathroom") using my flashlight and dried off in the air with the window open. The staff is nice enough, but they do not speak English. What can I say? It is Georgia, and apparently this is not unusual.
