Holiday Inn TBILISI by IHG in Tbilisi

I stayed at Holiday Inn Tbilisi for three nights, and overall it remains a nice and reliable place to stay. I’ve actually been coming back every year for the past five years, which says a lot about the hotel and its location.
The location is truly excellent—one of my favorite areas of Tbilisi to stay in, with easy access to the city and a pleasant neighborhood feel. The service, as always, is a strong point. The staff are consistently welcoming, professional, and smiling, which makes the stay comfortable and familiar every time.
That said, it’s a bit disappointing that the rooms haven’t been renewed in a long time. After five years of visits, the rooms look exactly the same, which feels strange for a hotel of this standard. A refresh would really make a difference. Breakfast is acceptable, though it also used to be better in the past.
The lobby restaurant food is okay, but the menu is quite limited, with not many choices available. It works for a quick meal, but it’s not particularly exciting.
Overall, Holiday Inn Tbilisi is still a good hotel with excellent service and an amazing location. I feel it’s definitely more enjoyable in summer than in January, but it remains a solid option for a comfortable stay in the city.

Nice hotel. David who mans the front desk over night was very kind and helpful. We had to come down at 4am one morning for a trip and the night chef was ill so we couldnt get a coffee. David wrangled the coffee machine for us. This went above and beyond and we were very grateful.

Room was very nice. Only downsides toilet seat was a pain as it wouldnt stay up and room was very hot in the afternoons. That being said, the room was large, clean and attractive.

I would definitely recommend the hotel.

I would like to start with a serious complaint regarding the behavior of two staff members, Sandro and Erna. Their attitude toward guests was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. In my opinion, they are not suitable for managerial roles. Unfortunately, their behavior significantly damages the hotel’s reputation and lowers the overall prestige of the property. I sincerely hope that management will investigate this matter and take appropriate action.

Aside from this issue, the hotel itself was generally good. The location is excellent, right in the city center and very close to major attractions, restaurants, and shops, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel was clean and well maintained.

The heaters in the room were not working properly during our stay. After informing the staff, an additional heater was provided, which helped, although this is something that should be checked beforehand.

I would also like to highlight the front desk team, who were friendly and professional, especially Mr. Davit, whose helpful and polite manner made a positive difference to our stay.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The hotel itself is lovely. It's a more upscale Holiday Inn. It's very clean and well taken care of. The staff is all kind, helpful, and very professional. The housekeeping is exceptional. The traffic outside never stops. It is quite loud. I didn't get one good night of sleep. It doesn't matter what time of day or night, traffic is roaring outside and you can hear it all throughout the rooms (I stayed on floor 9). Guests and staff are constantly slamming doors. In and out all day and all night, slam slam slam. And stomping around on their floors. It was miserable for sound/noise. The food at the hotel is good, very westerm. Room service is fast although my phone was broken my entire stay and I had to order downstairs. Free bottled water daily is a huge plus. Beds are comfortable, showers hot. Location is good for university or business, but not to explore Old Town. But it is at a metro stop. Overall, if you can stand the sound of traffic and slamming doors, I recommend this hotel. If you are noise sensitive, not a good place to stay.

The room was perfect clean organized and big.
The view was really nice from the room.
The breakfast tasty and delicious.
The location of the hotel was in the middle of the city and near to everything.
