Old Metekhi Hotel in Tbilisi

Hello, it was a beautiful experience. We spent 10 days there. The room was spacious and had a view of the river. I recommend it.

The building structure is somewhat old but very well maintained, and all the facilities in our room were in good working conditions. The staff members were all very cordial and helpful.

Great view, drinking wine above the river sitting on the balcony is worth to book a big room. Breakfast must be improved, we decided to eat outside despite it was included

The hotel is a 5-10 minutes walk from Avlabari Metro Station, where bus 337 to/from the airport stops. The Avlabari neighbourhood is tourist friendly (with supermarket, restaurants, ATMs and money changers), safe and quiet at night, and far from the protest area (Rustaveli). Rike Park, the cable car to Mother Georgia, the old town and the sulphur baths are all within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel itself is situated along the river. An upgrade from city view to river view is highly worth the additional price because from your room's private balcony, you will get a spectacular view of the old town across the river. (For those with city view rooms, you can still see a part of the river from a small public balcony, or from the breakfast room.) My room is clean, quiet and comfortable. The room is equipped with mini-fridge, small kettle, basic toiletries, and free wifi. (My room is close to the reception so the wifi in my room is stable and fast.) Breakfast consists of standard items (bread, cheese, ham, coffee, tea, juices), as well as hot porridge, eggs, and a few unique salads. I will come here again if I visit Tbilisi again.

We stayed in 2 rooms with a view of the city. The rooms were clean and cozy. From November 21 to 29, it was cold and windy in the city - we turned on the air conditioner, because there was no heating. I would like to separately thank the wonderful and responsive Nani - she is a godsend for this hotel! Every morning she cooked and greeted us as if we were her own children - very friendly and a true professional in her field.

The hotel location is very accessible. Its walk in to old town, freedom square, and other nice places. the room are with heater, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast, the view and ambiance of the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and kindly let us leave our luggage before check-in. This is a very nice hotel with a panoramic view of the old town from the breakfast venue.

We liked the good breakfast, buffet. We express our gratitude to the employee Nana for her hospitality and warm welcome! Very good location, everything is close by in the center. The hotel staff speaks Russian, which was very convenient for us. Very comfortable room, daily cleaning - changed towels, tucked in linen, soap/shampoos were delivered every day. Excellent impressions of the hotel!
