Good location. All interiors dark-looks like a thomb.The "Voucher" for 10% off for food and beverages is not valid for breakfast. Strange staff in the breakfast room: I thought some of them are securities. Breakfast 19,- EUR overpriced.

Our room which included kitchen facilities and a convertible sofa was very clean and comfortable. Good espresso machine. Large TV. Too bad my command of German is nil as that was it for programming. Any English news channel would have been great! One other criticism, bath was difficult to enter and exit and no rubber mat. Not safe.

Great location, the hotel looks even better in person than in the photos, and features a beautiful garden and a terrace with a view of the city. I highly recommend it.

The main station is right on your doorstep, making it extremely convenient. The hotel is super clean, and I was able to change my bed type to a double bed at reception. As a nice bonus, there was a lovely little Christmas market just one minute away.

Our room was very clean and spacious. There was public transport near. However we enjoyed the 10 minute walks to the local shops for meals.

I was quite satisfied with my stay during a business trip. It's very close to the subway station, but far from the central. The downstairs is always being renovated, which is not very friendly.

The hotel is generally okay. The breakfast is quite rich if you go early. If you go late, there won't be much left. I stayed for five days. Although there was a sign to clean the room, they didn't come in to clean it.

Hotel is not air-conditioned. Unfortunately my stay coincided with a heat wave. I was able to move to a room on the cooler side of the building. Leaving the window open was precluded by street noise.

Great location, just by Essen central station and the Christmas markets a short walk. And it has a small 24 hour gym. But I had noisy neighbours upstairs that persisted throughout, and the breakfast is very basic.

We stayed only for a night, but service was very good and friendly. Rooms super clean with a good view, no noise at night in the backyard rooms. Price was also good and breakfast included and a good amount of choices. All in all a very pleasant stay and we would definitely book this again when in Potsdam. The pillows are too soft and seem dusty. We could feel the mattress springs when lying down. There were no instructions in English; everything was in German, which made it very difficult to operate the washing machine and dryer.
