Front desk super helpful but the room is dirty, bedsheets not changed yet we checked in due to train delay n missed the connecting train, at 1 am we couldn’t ask for help. We saw dirt on pillow case n bedsheet.

Kind staff, clean and cozy room, it was nice to stay there.

Big rooms with welcome drink. Good breakfast, and I felt surprised that u can request the sunny side eggs in the kitchen. A friendly staff tailor made a coffee when u ordered it. The weakness is there is a smell in the room. It seems it did not opened the window for a period of time. The bathroom was really big. Hope to have some hangers or shelves in the bathroom for placing clothes.

The hotel's location is unbeatable; it's not far from the train station and the city center. The zoo and other attractions are a quick tram ride away. The room is large and very well-equipped, and the safe is free. The breakfast is very good, and the staff is very friendly.

There was a lot of water leaking from the shower in the bathroom.ㅜ

We (Couple 62 + 66 years) have spent a weekend here. The house, on a beautiful quiet plot of land just off the main road, is a "little" in the years, but it has it's own special charm. As lovers of peace and nature is us, this hotel exceptionally good. Excellent beds, a kitchen, a finger-licking good, beautiful location, service is surprisingly good and quickly, and as a bonus a flat screen and free Wi-fi. In short, a must.

This place is yet unfinished, but the currently available space is very well put together, clean, and perfect for staying in the area affordability with no frills. The owner meets you outside, and ushers you in once you arrive and ring him from the doorbell.

Rooms are not overly large but alright by any means. Everything was really clean and tidy, sanitary facilities worked fine. Would not suggest a room at the roadside though.

Staff was amazing throughout - easy late check-in, advice on sightseeing, logistics like money exchange and calling taxis. Room was gorgeous. Location is not far from the major center sights by metro.

Great hotel in an old renovated building with large rooms with high ceilings. Very clean. We had a full kitchenette large dinning table. Large shower. We had a small balcony. They have an elevator. No air condition. The location is perfect by the subway and three different trams. Lots of coffee shops small restaurants for the morning.

Stayed at Gorki everytime I’m in Berlin for the past 13 years. After my stay now I’m not so sure I want to stay there next time… bugs in the bed, torn and run-down and old finger stains in the bathroom. The freezer was broken, the shampoo was horrible and we only got one facial cloth and one tooth brush glass even though we were two people staying there. Kind of sad!

The room is perfect for 1 night.Ut is clean and comfy and close to the train station.The downside is the breakfast as there was very limited options.If you are staying for 1 night it’s perfect.But getting the key for the room was way to complicated as at 1:30 in morning we came and there were no lights and we could barely understand to how to get the key

Simplistic accommodation, but comfortable. Location were good. The staff were super helpful! I accidentally booked the wrong night and the refund was given soon after i explained what happened. Only downside, the fan in the bathroom didn't seem to turn off so for light sleepers it might be annoying. We were super tired and had ear plugs so all good for us.

Good quality price, 1km from the center, so if you like to walk a bit is perfect and clean apartment. Staff (online staff, cause there is not staffed hotel) rude. I asked if is possible to have the instructions for getting into the apartment and key in english as the first messages were in german. They didn't care, kept sending messages in german. Unfortunately, even if I try my german is not good...

Have stayed here twice for a short break and would go back again and again. Very friendly at the reception. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern, WiFi works well and the beds are comfortable. It's just a pity that the holiday is over so quickly 😁

Great breakfast, service & location. Rooms were a bit noisy & very warm so we didn’t have the best sleep but overall it was still a nice experience. Parking costs extra, we chose to park on a public spot where parking is free overnight but then you need to be back at 9am to get a ticket for the day.

Great location on the edge of the Old Town. And so easy to get to from the airport! It has really good transport links and a very quick walk into the old town. The room itself was clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I had problem with check in at the automat. I had to call 3 times and finally the problem was solved. The apartament is quite loud overlookongbon the street and very simple.

Conveniently located near the train station, a large grocery store with a food court, and the historic center. There's a microwave, stovetop, basic kitchenware, and a coffee machine. Clean bathroom. Suggestions: more coffee capsules for the coffee machine and toilet paper if guests are staying longer than 24 hours.

Great location just outside old city wall. Excellent location for trains, trams and buses. Was rather noisy as needed to sleep with windows open as no fan or aircon and it was hot. Bed was small double but was comfortable. Access was easy with a code for initial entry and it was easy to follow the door card making directions.

Great Customer Service The hotel is located in small community and very quiet. Very nice rooms. We stayed there to tour The Eagles Nest and it was very close. We arrived a little late and they were great about it and hung around until we arrived. We weren’t real late but they showed great customer service. The breakfast bar was really good as well. This is a nice boutique hotel with a modern lobby and breakfast area located on the third floor. The owners husband and wife are just wonderful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious with a modern bathroom and kitchen area is you want to stay in and cook for yourself. Overall nice hotel.

Beautiful bespoke hotel apartment not far from Baden Baden, the rooms were large and comfortable including the beds and pillows, the lounge, meal & bar was discrete and intimate with a view / terrace, but best of all was the hospitality received from Family Baumann (especially Natalie). Well done

Great breakfast - very clear and fresh room with coffemachine and fridge etcetera. Nice beds, and also a nice bar with a terrace. No complaints as to personal, everyone was very nice and the apartment was big enough.

Very quiet location near the Alster swimming pool. Parking is unfortunately a problem; only residents are allowed to park for longer than 3 hours.

I don’t like the property and very dirty

Really cozy apart-hotel with good breakfast and a humerous concierge-couple. Don't be late for the appointed time, and if you DO arrive late, be sure to call beforehand!! And if it looks closed when you arrive, call again … he just MAY be waiting for you, despite what he has said on the phone ...

Stayed here for three days while on an exchange trip. Good spacious rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget hotel in the area!

Great stay, and incredibly friendly staff! They were amazing. What’s good to know is that there’s a bar below which is noisy, and there’s a tram and train which also is noisy in the rooms. So stay as high as possible.

Hmm... it's kind of ambiguous... It's not bad, but it's hard to say it's good, and if you ask if I'd visit again, not really... but it's also hard to tell you not to go... hahaha.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Essen Station. It is an apartment-style hotel with high ceilings. The room I stayed in had a sink and a microwave, so you can cook your own meals. However, since it is close to the main road, the noise from cars can be quite loud.

Super thin walls, you will hear your fellow guests and they will hear you.

Beautiful location and a spacious apartment. The welcome wasn't very friendly, and the apartment smelled musty. The decor is a bit outdated. Breakfast was delicious.

Inside the old city, in an old house, the room is large and tall, making it very comfortable to live in. Parking is also convenient. The room is only equipped with a small fan, no air conditioning. It's not too hot now, so the small fan is enough, but it would be too hot if it gets hot. It's a very good apartment.

The room was very big with a good wife connection. However when I entered it was smelling cigarettes. Same as reception. The lower bed sheet wasn’t there and given you are on the 1st floor on a central cross road you get to hear cars and trams all night quite loudly.
