Terrible experience – avoid if you’re looking for peace and quiet
We stayed one night at this hotel and it was a huge disappointment. The place was full of groups of teenagers running, yelling, banging on the walls, and even knocking on our door twice. It was impossible to rest or sleep properly.
The worst part happened later in the evening: someone triggered the fire alarm on purpose, which forced the entire hotel to evacuate outside at 11 PM, in the rain.
No real effort was made to ensure peace for other guests. Very disappointing for a hotel that’s supposed to offer a relaxing stay. We will not be coming back

For the price, this place delivered incredible value. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was great, but if you are visiting on holiday, expect to be far from many of the main Munich attractions, and also note that the hostel is in the midst of a major construction project. Surely the results will be amazing (I learned that there will be a new courtyard for example), but if your room is in building 2, you may need to walk through either a garage or a construction zone to get there for now.

Ist the best place i visited due to everything. I am currently in but i even decided to give them their own credits. What a woow rooms clean smooth bathroom everything breakfast was satisfactory and it was so quiet inside that was also nice from all neighbours. I love it . Will go and come back i love it here I most repeat .

I had a generally pleasant stay at Jugendherberge in Munich. The hostel was very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The staff at check-in were extremely friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming first impression.

However, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The location is quite far from the city center, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. Also, in the shared dormitory (with around 12–14 beds), there was only one bathroom and one shower, which can be a challenge during busy hours.

Another negative point was the staff in the evening—unlike the friendly check-in experience, the person we encountered later was quite rude and unprofessional, which was disappointing.

Overall, if you're looking for a clean place with a friendly daytime staff and don't mind being a bit out of the way or sharing limited facilities, this hostel could still be a good option.

A limpeza, as camas, café da manhã. Pelo fato de ser novo, tudo bem organizado e limpo.

I stayed there in 1983; it was horrible. (Was previously warned to avoid by fellow backpackers, but all else was booked out.) But as I hope to return to Munich soon, I will stay there again & hopefully much has changed for the better. 😊

Without a question the worst hostel I've ever been to.
The bed bunk they gave me was so close to the ceiling that, when lying on it, my head was 20cm away from hitting the ceiling.
No WiFi in the bedroom, nor enough power plugs and the room and bathrooms were dirty as hell.
The staff simply didn't care.
I wonder how it's still open.

There is no elevator and there is only one plug in the room. The staff is correct but not very friendly. The breakfast is included and it's well provided.

Clean, warm (was visiting in late autumn) and excellent for the price. Could have more public space as the hall is small and gets rowdy quite easily

Great hostel! Stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The showers and toilets was clean and good. Nice breakfast. Recommended!!
