Had a great stay at Hotel Torkel, family run with lovely owners and very friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay, the food was very good quality and well prepared. The rooms were very quiet and in excellent condition. The massage really got under your skin - great! The wine list and the staff recommendations were to our liking. A lovely hotel that we would book again anytime and would 100% recommend.

We were from 21.09. - 29.09.21 in the hotel Torkel. As always it was a great experience, you not only enjoy your holiday with friends but also join the Torkel family if you want! The food, the staff, from the reception to the cleaning, the service, everything is at its best! We will always be happy to come back. I have recommended this hotel to many of my friends and everyone who has been there has had the same impression.

We stayed in a deluxe room for 8 nights with our large dog who was welcome in the hotel with the exception of the restaurant (fair enough). The room was spacious, clean and had all the basic amenities I would expect in a 4*. Although we were half board, we only ate one evening meal here as I'm local so preferred to go out with family and friends. The meal we did have was good but at times felt like they were trying a little too hard and letting themselves down on basics like under seasoning the soup. Wine list was extensive and predominantly local, we had a fantastic bottle of Lanz Riesling! Breakfasts were typically continental with the added bonus of terrace seating during good weather. Laundry service was super fast (same day). Overall, the service was good if not a little contrived and stiff at times. Would love to give 5 stars but felt that there is room for improvement and for the prices charged, you expect a lot and a bar that is open every evening for hotel guests.

First time we allowed a wine waiter to recommend a wine for us. We were not disappointed. It was lovely and good value and complemented the delicious meal perfectly. Great for veggies.
