Hotel City Green Berlin in Berlin

Dirty rooms, couldn't sleep as there spiders everywhere on the bed, I wonder when was the last time they actually cleaned. Rude and very unfriendly receptionist. There's massive construction so it's difficult access with a car or even by walking. Only reason we stayed it was near a location we had to be at early the next day. Really bad experience.

Poorly run "hotel" in the middle of a dusty, noisy construction site. The room was dirty on arrival with goopy blue soap leaking in the bathroom sink and shower. Old ratty towels and a dusty floor was what I saw from day one. They never cleaned the room for the entire stay: only changed the sad looking towels and made up the bed with the same dirty linen.

I was woken up every night by reversing trucks and construction workers right outside my window in the wee hours of the morning while it was still dark. They give you no heads up that you will be living in the middle of a construction site - notice that all the photos on ******* are of the interior - THAT'S FOR A REASON. Just ridiculous!

Barely any staff around. I noticed any random stranger could walk straight off the dusty road, into the building, right up to your door with no problem as there was no staff or locked doors up until you get to the room. Did not feel secure at all.

To add insult to injury, I was charged a random extra tax upon arrival (although the rest of my group was not), and neither ******* nor the hotel cared that much to do anything about it.

If you think it's worth booking for the cheap price, think again! It's just not worth it, believe me. Take my advice and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Probably anywhere else would be better. One of the worst places I ever stayed at.

The cleaners here only change your towels and the dishes. They do not sweep the floors or change the sheets, they do not even wipe the desk, side table or counters. You are there for one more day and they do not even do this.

I have to walk around a dusty room because they are location is in a dusty place and there’s a lot of sand in my room and they do not even have the decency to come sweep after paying for this service.

It’s the first time I leave a review by a place but I’m truly disappointed.

Construction and non paved roads made it an unwelcoming and cold place.
