Affordable hotel away from the center (but easily reachable with the public transport)

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Nice houses and lots of trees. Tram stop right next door. Train station nearby.

If you're looking for things to criticize, you'll certainly find something. The hotel perfectly fulfills its purpose. It's wheelchair accessible, and there's absolutely nothing to complain about since there's also an elevator in the main building. It's clean. Of course, the rooms aren't luxury suites, but if you want those, you have to be prepared to pay significantly more, which we didn't have to do here. And it was a good base for visiting Berlin, with easy access to local and long-distance trains, including the S21 and S3 lines at Karlshorst station. If you don't like the ambiance and the hotel's decor, you should consider the Athlon, Ritz, Charlton, or Waldorf Astoria, and be prepared to pay the same price. I personally have only positive memories of my stay! 👍 THANK YOU!

Located in a charming neighborhood with public transport options close by (a short walk from the train station or a tram stop right across the street). Checking in after office hours was very easy.

Minus points from thin walls. I could hear someone snoring in the next room :D Take earplugs with you.

Good hotel, the only limitation is that it doesn't have 24-hour reception.

I stayed in this hotel for a whole week. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable. Good wi-fi connection. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, free street parking. The location of the property is convenient for reaching the center of Berlin by public transport, tram or line S3. Friendly staff at the reception.

Nice hotel in a quiet place. We did not have huge expectations coming, as we booked a twin room last minute, but the price 180€/2pers./2nights turned out to be a good deal. Hotel is further from center, but it's not an issue because the connections are easy. Hotel rooms were clean, smelled fresh and we could adjust heat on the radiator to make it warm. Beds were very comfortable. We did not see anyone from reception until our check-out due to our late check-in, but the comunication by email was very prompt and smooth. Nothing incredibly special about the place, but everything is simple, tidy and functional. 5 stars not because it's a 5 star hotel, but because everything promised is provided. Definitely we'll book this hotel when we come back to visit Berlin again, because we left pretty satisfyed with it. Thank you :)

Small minus is that there is no way (or we did not find) how to boil water for tea/coffee, so a kettle in the room or somewhere close to the room would be very nice. But we didn't ask about it though, since there was no reception available, but maybe they offer that by request.
