Stayed at Premier Inn Hotel Süd for a recent city trip and was impressed by the value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for its location. Bed was firm in a good way, and the blackout curtains helped me sleep in after long travel days. The on-site breakfast was solid value with a decent variety, making mornings easy before hopping into the city. Location is practical if you’re driving or using trains, but it’s noticeably farther from the main sights and central neighborhoods, so budget a bit more time for transit. Staff were friendly and efficient, check-in was smooth, and the overall experience felt reliable and hassle-free for a budget stay. If you’re prioritizing cost and a comfortable room over being right in the heart of the action, this is a solid pick.

🌟Very disappointing stay

Now I finally understand why this hotel has 1,450 reviews but only a 3.7 rating — and there’s a reason for it.

This was honestly my first time staying in a hotel with such terrible soundproofing. I stayed two nights in two different rooms: the first night I was woken up by loud footsteps from above, and the second night I could hear parties in nearby rooms until around 3 a.m. — barely any sleep either night.

The heating was on all night but the rooms were still cold, the radiators were heavily rusted at the bottom, spider webs were visible everywhere, and bathroom fixtures like faucets, soap dispensers, and the shower rack were dirty. Overall cleanliness was far below standard.

Breakfast was uncomfortable — the staff kept staring at guests the entire time, which was very awkward.

There was no phone in the room, and the front desk was often unattended, making communication very inconvenient.
Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing.

I would not recommend this hotel to friends.

Stayed in a bed-only room, everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the bus stations. Great choice for a simple and convenient stay

If there was a way to leave a negative amount of stars, I would. Rude staff, poor facilities, many sleepless nights. The hotel turns into a party hub on the weekends and the staff does nothing. The manager is a joke too. Run and book somewhere else. This is not a hotel, it is a shady hostel at best.

Disappointing stay and sleepless night – rude and unhelpful reception.
We booked a family suite but were given the wrong room key at check-in, which led to an embarrassing situation. Our actual room was unbearably hot (no AC and poor ventilation), and the receptionist made rude comments instead of helping us. This resulted in a sleepless night and made our stay very uncomfortable. The location is also quite far from the center. The hotel chain claims a “Good Night Guarantee”, yet when we complained, the reception told us to send an email — which remains unanswered. Definitely not recommended.

Reception staff came across as unfriendly and irritated. The room was clean and fine. Parking on the street is nearly impossible; underground parking is the only option but expensive. Fine for one night, but not recommended for a longer stay.

We stayed for 4 nights. On the 3rd day, we requested housekeeping because our bed sheet got dirty. However, they simply straightened the bed, left the dirty sheet in place, and just pulled the duvet over it — and called it "cleaning." Apparently, this is what they consider room service. Unfortunately, it was far below our expectations and turned out to be a disappointing experience.

The hotel is very beautiful, we always like to go back there, the people at the reception are always nice and happy to help. the good points were friendly reception staff, and comfortable good quality beds and bedding, the bad points, I tried their restaurant once for breakfast it's Buffett style but everything was cold we were in a room overlooking McDonalds which was noisy and seems to be open 23 hours a day yes 23 hours it's not a typo. also be advised if you want touristy area of Berlin it's a bus and underground train ride of about 45 minutes to Alexander plats
