Reviews
It’s quite far from the city and difficult to get to by underground. Best to take the 171 bus that goes right by the door. There is a Lidl very close by and a pharmacy across the road.
The reception is in a bar/restaurant which is a little odd but hardly a complaint. Receptionist was very nice.
You will need a torch at night time to find the back door.
Our main door entry key also opened our bedroom. Not sure if that’s a security issue. I’m not a locksmith.
The room was big and comfortable. The ability to completely black out the daylight with electric blinds was perfect for our needs as creatures of the night.
The decor in the bathroom was….. different. Didn’t care, we wanted functional and we got it.
The bath tub emptied through the drain and onto the floor into another drain which was again, different. The lack of a shower curtain was surprising and made showering without drenching the entire room quite difficult. So you couldn’t really bring your clothes in there to get dressed if you were staying with someone you were not comfortable being naked around. There was a mild smell from this interesting drainage situation.
The TV worked though I don’t speak German so it was pretty useless for me. I couldn’t find any EN channels. But it made for good background noise.
Would I return? If I was stuck then yes. Mostly because I know I won’t be getting anything worse by going here. The main issue for me was the distance from the center and accessibility. The rest was bearable.
Towels are not replaced, a towel we placed on the floor of the exchange, carried it was but, unfortunately, not new. The shower curtain had mildew stains and very smelly, but the smell of urine has dominated in the bathroom.
Reception was not always staffed and we had to pay for the cleaning lady.
In addition, the house is very noisy, when someone in the hallway runs past, one has the feeling that someone was running through your room.
So FINGERS AWAY!
Look somewhere else! Can only be better.
Towels were not changed, you had to get on two days, always at the front Desk, and self. Whom towels on the floor that should be detected are a sign to the exchange. What would have been if the front Desk had already closed? Around 8 in the evening is nobody there. Here should urgently be improved.
The beds were uncomfortable in the double bed in room 11 I slept like a wire rope. Thanks to a third bed in the room, I could feathers with the ceiling a little. According to the note at the front Desk was only told that this can not be, and the mattress must be thick. At least it works, that could be the case on the day of departure at the Hotel behind.
On request after Breakfast, I got in the run-up to the Info that there would be close to a few bakeries. Apart from the Aral petrol station, but there was no Breakfast possibilities in the vicinity.
