Hotel Chateau Kurfürstendamm in Berlin

It's a fine place the location is great you have everything around such as transportation, central city center and many fancy shops and supermarket I recommend specially because of the location of the hotel.

This was a business trip.

Reception: check-in/checkout and all other reception activities were fast, smooth and friendly enough. Professional anyway.

Room & bathroom: the room was oldish but not ran down or anything...just...oldish. There was everything I need: a bed, a desk, free coffee, a tv, a desk etc.

The bathroom was stacked with enough towels, shower gel, shampoo etc. It was the same kinda oldish as the bedroom but generally clean expect to moldy corners of the shower. My bathroom had this weird noise coming from the airing system so I had to close the door at night.

Bed & Sleep: the bed was fairly comfortable, nothing to rave about but simple and good. Linen, blanket etc. we're very simple but since it was quite warm I hardly needed them. I didn't try the aircon but opened the massive window which did let in the noise from the street in front as my room was facing that side. However considering this I was still able to sleep comparably good. Until someone wrong-dialed my room number and woke me at around 6 a.m.

Breakfast: selection for breakfast was quite good, There were three kids of eggs (booked, scrambled, baked), cold cuts, cheese, fruits, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, ok bread, antipasti, vegetables, herring and what not. Quality was good but nothing really was amazing.

All in all: I think this is a good hotel if you're in the area but I surely stayed in cheaper and also nicer rooms in this town before.
