I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Arena am Zoo. The location is ideal – right next to the zoo, with quick connections to the city center and a quiet setting. My room was clean, tidy, and comfortably furnished

This hotel is perfect place to stay if you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel. No staff on site to help with check in. It is a self-service kiosk at the back of the building

There was a maintenance man around though who was really helpful in directing me to where I was staying. The room itself although small, was very clean

I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for short city breaks or visits to the zoo and the city center. I would gladly stay here again!

The room was clean and hygienic. Check-in was quick and easy; the check-in machine offered more language options, which would be ideal.

Was mir auch sehr gefiel war, dass der Esstisch immer der gleiche war und man somit die Flasche Wasser, die man auch direkt vor Ort bekommen kann, stehen lassen kann sowie auch sich eine Flasche mit aufs Zimmer nehmen kann

Wer mit dem Zug anreisen will, wird vom Bahnhof abgeholt und auch wieder hingebracht. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Sollte ich nochmals nach Bad Salzuflen fahren, dann kommt für mich nur dieses Hotel in Frage

Wieder ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Sehr sehr sauber alles und auch sehr ruhig!!!. Die Frühstücks- und Abend - Büfetts waren vor allem vielfältig, besonders abends ganz leckere und viele Salate

In the basement, there's a small common room with a beer-stocked refrigerator where people can gather in the evenings. The food is good and plentiful, and you don't have to eat every meal at the hotel

The hotel is in a quiet yet central location. The old town is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's parking at the hotel. The breakfast was perfectly adequate

The outside pool area with well kept rose bushes was an ideal place to relax and both the local bus and train services are very close by making travelling very easy

Although we were there for leisure, I can fully see how this hotel appeals to business travellers. It is well located just a short walking distance from the S-Bahn station, with trains to Erlangen, Bamberg and Nuremberg

This friendly and welcoming hotel is run brilliantly but a lovely family. The room was great and the breakfast each morning was a real treat. Nothing was too much trouble and I was well looked after throughout my stay

Everything you want from a hotel. Clean, confortable, welcoming and serves a lovely breakfast. Ideally placed between Erlangen and Nuremburg with good rail and road connections. A must for anyone wanting a nice stay.

The shower room appeared to have black mould low down as well as on the wall. The room was a good size though, with two single beds, a bunk bed and a table with chairs. There was a mini fridge, kettle and microwave

The place was clean, decent, and conveniently located right next to the tram. The owner was welcoming and kind, and there is also a lovely dog on site, her name is Bella! A good option for a budget trip

The person at check-in was friendly and explained everything to us, even offering us NYE paraphernalia. However, the cleanliness of the room was pretty poor

The location is decent, with a tram stop nearby or a metro stop within walking distance, and supermarkets nearby. The bed linen was clean, but the room overall was a bit dingy

We got one of their sea siding rooms. Very spacious, clean room with beautiful balcony. The room was located in a separate building, almost without room service

In the next room there was a pool table where you can play until 10 p. and the room had a view of car tires because there was a parking lot right in front of it

It wasn't possible for her and her husband to join me at the table for a glass of wine after dinner; only hotel guests were allowed there. I was very disappointed and had to go out for a glass of wine for two evenings

It was nice there, the service was good. The room very clean. Only the mattress was a bit soft. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Special requests were met due to a food intolerance.

The 3/4 board is recommended, and it also includes daily entry to the thermal baths/sauna and a cable car ride. If you can handle the hotel's old charm, it is definitely recommended

Inexpensive and included a buffet dinner. Don't eat too early, or it'll be a rush. An hour later and you'll have plenty of room. The buffet is constantly replenished with fresh food, so that's not a problem

Gut feeling that I got from the hotel.

The cleanliness of the entire hotel leaves a lot to be desired, for example stained carpets in the stairwell, shower in the room. The wellness area is actually impossible, dinner was below average, breakfast was OK

Also they stopped offering room service, which the great staff tried to accommodate me as much as possible. But still for a property of this class, I’d expect that option

This is the most amazing hotel. It feels like home. The pool and sauna are clean and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. I will come again. It is in a quiet neighborhood.

I’m a repeat guest and I do love this place. What slightly spoiled my enjoyment was the absence of a coffee machine in the room

Great location to experience Palace Living in a suburb of Berlin.

The overall feeling of the hotel is good, the sanitary conditions are good, the price is moderate, and it is very close to the Alster Lake, so you can walk there

Everything is great, but it is not convenient when checking in. For some reason the reservation number does not come to the email

There are black bugs in the sheets, and they bite people

The room smelled, and it was obvious that they had smoked in it (there were also cigarette butts outside the window). The staff, all online, were not helpful at all, and even stopped answering when I pointed this out

Vieles war im Winterschlaf zumal es sich um ein Hotel mit Golf usw handelt. Für uns war es ein Skihotel, denn das Skigebiet Lofer ist in nur einer halben Stunde zu erreichen

Stayed here for 1 day on our way to Hamburg. What a nice location directly on the Fulda River, Room had a great view with Balcony to sit and take it in. Bedroom and small living room was separated with a sofa, table

The Location next to the River is stunning and I enjoyed walking around, watching birds, the apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a really nice balcony

I did not use the SPA but it looked really nice on pictures and from the outside. I also really liked the swings on the balcony. The bathtubs is also really comfy

Fantastic location This hotel has a fantastic location and very family freindly. Enjoyed our one night stay. Great apartment and food with an amazing view over the lake.

Everything was clean Bathroom was ok and we had nice and hot water. We didn't check every nook and cranny but overall good value for the price

The only things they could improve would be a hair dryer (which I might have missed), hangars for the wardrobe and maybe a different soap

There's a bathing area right by the water, which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. We didn't use the bike and boat rentals, but they are available. The pool and sauna area is nice

I stayed in a holiday home with a lake view for a long autumn weekend with two small children. The location was fantastic, the view stunning, the amenities great, and it was very clean – perfect for a longer stay

The kitchenette consisted of two induction hobs and an oven with a microwave, two wall cabinets crammed with kitchen utensils, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and another cabinet with a trash can

The bedroom was very small, with just a small wardrobe that didn't hold much, certainly not for two people, as you had to be prepared for all kinds of weather. The so-called terrace was tiny

The house got very hot during the day despite the exterior blinds, and at night you couldn't open the windows because of the mosquitoes; there simply weren't any fly screens

In bad weather, the sauna and swimming pool are inviting, which are also very clean. A very beautiful pond is within walking distance

I spent Christmas there with my daughter and son-in-law and it was more than perfect, so much so that we didn't even want to think about going home. The rooms were very comfortable, nothing was missing

Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer

We paid a total of €260 for breakfast, dinner, and use of the spa area. The spa area isn't particularly large, but it was perfectly adequate for our one day. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and a whirlpool

The restaurant is a highlight: good quality of the products, everything tastes amazing, a lot of options and I've never seen a place that cared so much about my lactose intolerance! Thank you so much for that! The price is fair, we had a great weekend! The only thing is that (in my opinion) the hotel should be renovated - at least rooms and wellness part

The back door opened up to a beautiful terrace with a path that leads down to the street where there is a small park. It was extremely convenient for walking our dogs. The food in the restaurant was amazing

Since Schönwald is located at about 1,000 meters above sea level, August temperatures are perfect: warm but never too hot during the day, and pleasantly cool in the evening
