I love the swimming pool, hot tubs and pool areas for kids with the slide. It's family friendly place, good food and great sports facilities. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay and enjoy the pool. The staff were very friendly - even packing us breakfast because we had to leave early to catch a train

The dining area is really great for kids because they can check out the fish and turtles in the pond while waiting for food. The bowling alley was also a family favorite

Clean and spacious double room with couch, desk and flatscreen tv. Nice colourful clean bathroom, shower was good and hot but not that roomy. Dinner was good, the breakfast was just perfect

The crew was very friendly and helpful, what a treat!

The disadvantage is that the hotel is not along the street, so you have to find parking. I will stay here again next time

Located one bus stop from the train station, but also easy to reach on foot. Right in the city center, close to the old town.

There are delicious restaurants near the hotel. There is a market in the town in the morning where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables and bread

Unfortunately the spa was closed for cleaning while we were there, but the room and restaurant were very nice. Staff was helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Good breakfast with lots of options

Very good option in the city center My experience at Nuhnental was very good. Rooms are cozy and the fact there’s sauna and a swimming pool is a real bonus. All the facilities appeared to be recently renovated

The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner

We stayed in the Loft, which is about 10 minutes from the Hotel, but is an excellent flat with lots of space and nice living spaces

The rooms are a bit outdated, but the pool area is great, and parking is convenient.

The hotel staff was very nice and gave us a free room upgrade because they thought it was easier for us with a baby to have a room close to the pool and restaurant which was very kind and thoughtful

You still recieve a real key to open the door!. Parking in front of the hotel is free. Breakfast was ok! The swimmingpool and sauna are very nice and good refreshment after long time driving

Nor is there any assistance to get your bags up the stairs if you need help. They have a room with board games, but we didn’t try out the pool. The staff are very friendly and try to be accommodating

In bad weather you have the possibility to make tea or coffee in your room or take a walk around the Friesenterme. The rooms with a view of the lake have binoculars so you have a good view of the seal beach

Every morning the breakfast is included and you get access to a lovely indoor pool to cool off! No airconditioning unfortunately, but the unexpected downpour during the evening made it very doable! We both enjoyed our stay very much, the owner is very friendly and even if your German sucks, many employees there would help you out Thannk you very much for the tasty breakfast and that we could leave...

Do not expect a luxury hotel, otherwise great! cons: - the same food for breakfast every day - food is okay but not great - no shampoo in the shower - scuffmarks on the walls in the bedroom - not a pretty building - near highway, causes sound so this might be annoying to some - i didn't mind - view is bad when you have a room on the first floor pro's: - fresh orange juice - free tram pass to city...

It's a great hotel if you know what you're getting into: a simple place to sleep where you can eat and drink plenty, swim and go to the wellness

The absolute highlight, however, was the large spa area with eight saunas, three pools, and plenty of space – all very well-maintained and never crowded

The hotel is located very close to the motorway, yet it is quiet, which makes it ideal for an overnight stay on the way by car to somewhere (otherwise it does not look like an area with lots of tourist attractions)

What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel. I was a bit skeptical at first , as I lived in Düsseldorf for a long time and used to know the original old Breidenbacher Hof very well

It was outside noise, and they couldn't do anything about it. They said a room at the front would also generate a lot of street noise. I consider this poor treatment

They food was great and the kitchen staff were very helpful. The reception dealt with 10 men walking and staying at 3 hotels and sorted all the problems. Dinner was great so too the wine and the hosting

Great hotel Room was very clean, staff were very nice, balcony has great view, excellent breakfast, nothing we don’t like! Oh , and the half board dinner was excellent, for €29 per person you get 3 court dinner plus salads bar, deluoabd well presented!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alpenhotel Fischer. The staff were lovely, speaking great English but being patient in letting me try speaking German too. Hotel facilities were great with breakfast being a highlight

Stayed three nights. Great location to walk to the Berchtesdgaden HBF station and get around the area. Clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Very quiet and relaxed overall. Restaurant was very good as well

The pool wasn't used by many of the guests which gave me and my wife a private pool for most of our stay. Though, this may not always be the case

The hotel is warmly decorated and has a nice feel to it. It's well designed with the pool next to the lift, and the sauna easily accessible

WiFi ks terrible for video streaming, once most of the guests are connected. It is beyond my understanding why they use low speed Internet (100/100 Mbit/s) and Xioami repeaters, instead of Meraki, Cisco, Fritz!

Friendly and professional personnel, especially Yevheniia, who helped us book an additional one-night accomodation in the hotel, in a room with balcony as we wanted, and shared with us useful information including the possibility to get travel permits for the area

We had a great stay, the service in the restaurant was sometimes slow and the interior design is somewhat outdated - but that´s just a personal preference. The location is fantastic and the offers for kids are great

We had a really relaxing stay!

Our room had a massive terrace with views to the big peaks to the south, and a massive walk in shower we which found every excuse to use! The rooftop infinity pool at the level of the treetops was like nothing I’ve experienced before

Incredible and unique setting, which unfolds upon arrival as you take the cable car from the valley below, above the Aqua-blue alpine river, across the treetops and then finally you see the hotel nestled in the trees at the edge of an alpine meadow plateau

Hotel staff were all incredibly warm and helpful, both at the restaurant which serves up fantastic food, and at reception, where they helped me pick out a hiking route up to Kreujberg, and booked me a taxi back to the train station upon departure

But what I love even more is descending on foot through the paths that lead down to the Partnachklamm —it's such a scenic way to arrive or leave, walking those trails along the river with the dramatic gorge views, wooden bridges, and tunnels

We enjoyed the daily special dinner, the pool on the second floor with a breathtaking view, but especially the service, besides being polite on every coaction of interaction with the staff, twice we got what I would define as exceptional service, that elevated beyond my expectations

The food is always delicious and beautifully prepared—I've had some really standout dishes, and it's run by a talented Portuguese chef who brings a nice touch of creativity to the regional ingredients

We stayed in an apartment. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The view of the river was beautiful and breakfast was fantastic. The bed, pillows, and towels weren't the greatest ever but still sufficient.

Booked a balcony room thru Expedia but initially received a non Balcony room. Front desk quickly resolved the issue with a great balcony room. Super clean and modern bath. Breakfast was excellent!

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot

Room doors have a bizarre and totally unnecessary beep when opening: you can clearly hear when neighbours come into their room. This could be quite disturbing. Breakfast was fine, including yoghurt and fruits

The views are beautiful, spa is very relaxing, rooms are spacious and very clean and food is wonderful. They were even able to make food accommodations for my daughter that has very strict food restrictions

The Black Forrest was a wonderful surprise for us. This hotel was located a few miles from a fun town and they had everything we needed.

- There was a tv but way too large for the room. It made for awkward maneuvering. - I think the toilet could have been cleaned better prior to our arrival. Would I go back to that hotel? A thousand times, yes!

Magical We were on vacation in Germany and decided to take a side trip to the Black Forrest. The charm of this hotel was perfect. The food was great and the service was even better.
