The rooms are a bit outdated, but the pool area is great, and parking is convenient.

The hotel staff was very nice and gave us a free room upgrade because they thought it was easier for us with a baby to have a room close to the pool and restaurant which was very kind and thoughtful

You still recieve a real key to open the door!. Parking in front of the hotel is free. Breakfast was ok! The swimmingpool and sauna are very nice and good refreshment after long time driving

We also liked the overall layout, decor and dress for it's authentic 'german-ness'. This may sound strange, but for those of you who abhor and understand some of the fake-ness that pollutes many venues

Freebies include a champagne breakfast buffet and a lunch snack buffet, plus sweets. There's an on-site restaurant, as well as a casual bar. Other amenities include a spa, an indoor/outdoor pool and a fitness center

I have never said this about a hotel stay before, and we have been on five continents. "PERFECTION", yes, really, in every aspect of our stay

We met a number of very interesting people, many who had been coming to this jewel in the South Harz for many years again and again. This fact is it's own statement of quality

The bright rooms and suites have plush decor, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs, plus tea and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms add sloped ceilings, balconies and lake views, while suites have living areas

You name the category, and it was all beyond our very high expectations at a very reasonable price for how we stayed in a suite package

The hotel is super elegant, you feel like you are walking in ancient corridors full of stories and history, yet at the same time contemporary and modern, full of very beautiful paintings

Small spots could be repaired here and there on the ceiling, on the walls, in the bathtub with shower and in the elevator

Whilst they’re clearly winding down a bit before the huge refurb, we had the best stay - gorgeous hotel, great room, charming personnel and the location is perfect

The staff was kind, but often seemed a bit annoyed to answer questions. The spa pool is nice, but basically just lukewarm and the sauna is an extra cost. The breakfast was good, but not quite worth the price tag

The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The spa pool was a nice inclusion to the stay as well. The bar was very lively in the evenings

Will start saving now to stay when the refurb is complete. Hope it retains its classy, restrained atmosphere

The hotel bar allows smoking and was not so great to be in. We arrived with a car and it's not entirely obvious where to pull-in for valet or to unload luggage since the circle drive actually says taxis only

I loved the blackout curtains and metallic rolls in our room, we slept very good. We came with my parents and we had two rooms next to each other and connected with a door, super comfortable

The only thing I would not recommend is the breakfast, since my parents paid for one day and were not happy because the options to eat were very limited

We were just there one night. The refrigerator didn't cool no matter which way we turned the adjustment knob.

The HAPIMAG resort is very good located to go to the ski slopes. Its close to walking path for hiking as well to go for city center walk. It has an indoor pool, wellness and a big garage facility including EV stations

Swimming pool for the kids and activities. Perfect walks for dog owners (which we are)

Lovely week in a nice park. Swimming pool and whirlpool are amazing. And they have a lovely room for kids to play. Be prepared to take your luggace skyhigh before you can enjoyed the rest of a holiday ^^.

Only difficulty faced was taking luggage to your accommodation; depending where you are staying, you have face some steep hills up and down. Not a problem if you have backpacks

The rooms are clean and have small kitchens for own cooking when needed. Can recommend if you go to Winterberg (DE)

The various pool areas give way to the backdrop of the Bavarian mountains. during the day the sunbeds were the perfect place to read a book between dips in the pool(s)

My daughter and I enjoyed an excellent stay. Definitely 5 star. Very much enjoyed the location, pool, sauna, hot tub, yoga, gourmet meals and vicinity of hiking and castle.

The indoor spa facilities were beautiful, state of the art. The restaurant provided a wonderful breakfast buffet and our dinner experience each night was very impressive. I must give the staff extra acknowledgement

The spa service is also excellent, featuring products from the Pharmos Natur line, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The food is good, and the breakfast is well prepared with attention to detail

I spent 2 relaxing nights at this immaculate spa-resort in August with my boyfriend. It was my first time to Germany, and my first stay at a spa of this all encompassing class

Located near the sea just minutes away, rooms were tremendously large and clean and the service was nice. Enjoy the sauna and pool!

Unfortunately, there is such a rush at breakfast in the morning that guests have to sit everywhere in the foyer because the restaurant is overcrowded

The only thing missing was a shoe horn, so useful for elderly men. The bed and pillows as well as the shower were excellent and breakfast worthy of the star rating

Scrambled eggs dry, omelette made to order was a bit better. Rooms specious and clean but bathroom not properly cleaned. Long hairs in the sink and toilet not really clean

First night we were told there was probably no availability (but no one actually checked!) in the restaurant until much later and then we proceeded to look at it through the window for the next 2,5 hours and all was empty

I did not like that breakfast has an additional fee of $20. We ended up at the bakery down the street. The location is great and so are the wellness offers. A little confusing as they are all over the property

a huge property with big rooms & a big toilet/bathroom. very rare to find such spacious hotel rooms & toilets in europe. downside the breakfast place was quite a walking distance from the room

Great place to stay Stayed here for 1 night. Single room but very comfort bed. Good breakfast and nice dinner. Best is the swimming pool ( heated ) and big sauna. There is a parking at the hotel ( cost extra )

to the entry reception as well there is no doorman so one lifts the bags & goes to the reception to be told the room has been allotted to another wing so you take down the luggage & climb again

One caveat: The wellness pool is, and always has been, disfunctionally cold, in winter at least. Even if you go in, you'll have to leave a few minuntes in because you just don't adapt

I had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Oberstdorf. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that create a peaceful and calming atmosphere

Further, they only do two events per day (at least in the hottest sauna) but they literally just came in, threw the ice in the oven and left without any comments

Hotel was ok ,time was stop in 2000,,tv was only Germain,no English , France,even Polish Chanel ,when Germain guest arrived in Poland,they expect Germain TV ,but in Germany was only German ,no international Chanel pls think about this,room was clean,spa no bussy on this time ,wellness was super ,only big problem is naked people in spa ,it's illegal ,hotel supposed to inform guest,also in the season...

With restaurants both in the resort and nearby in former East town of Neuruppin, this is an amazing resort. Be advised that many non-pool areas are in a "textile free zone," meaning no clothes allowed

I don't believe I've ever seen a spa like this. Sitting atop a thermal spring, they have heated indoor and outdoor pools that don't actually require heat

Saunas of every type, salt water pools, a room dedicated to breathing the natural salt, along with the largest exercise facility I've seen

The staff's service and attention were notably positive aspects of our stay. The spa amenities were enjoyable, and the hotel's location was highly convenient. However, there is room for improvement in the dining options

Beware if you are vegan there are very limited options. The thermal baths were very nice, few pools and saunas in the complex to choose from and very clean

Additionally, the outdoor restaurant, which was supposed to be the best option, had limited choices, and one of the dishes we selected was lacking flavor

Lovely hotel close to Neuschwanstein Castle and nearby lake. Service was excellent and half board was a great option to relax after a busy day site seeing. My teenage girls loved the pool too.

An excellent hotel with a wonderful swimming pool area and spa section. It would be appropriate to forbid children to jump into the pool, which was unpleasant

You can always add salt, but once it's inside it impossible to take it out, and we had to leave some of the food on the plate. The hotel is in a great landscape, near the lake, with its own parking

This hotel is very nice with very good restaurants. Its located in quite lovely location. I stay her every year when attending InterTabac, I cant see myself staying somewhere else. RECOMMENDED

We used this hotel as a stopover travelling from the Eurotunnel at Calais and onwards to Bavaria. This was our first time here although we have been making this journey over the last 25 years

We spent most of the time in the Spa and was well looked after by Emily who was most attentive, helpful, happy and delightful staff member. The massage was fabulous and relaxing

We had a nice comfortable room with a nice bathroom. One of the surprises to ghis hotel was the pool and the sauna. We had an evening meal and 2 breakfasts and they were wonderful

Great hotel however it misses something. It is complete nice rooms, swimming pool, sauna, fitness, massage, restaurant and drinks are all present. Rooms and inside the hotel it was very warm

No airco there was something in the room but that had not much effect. Staff is missing that extra smile and service

We where in a room above the restaurant then you need to go outside end then into the main building to enter the swimming pool etc

The hotel advertises a wellness area. Unfortunately, there were only about 10-12 loungers available in the pool area and we had to register for the sauna, which only has 12 places

The apartments were really nice. Expected juat another hotel room but was greates by a full apartment with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room (living room & kitchen combo)

Excellent apartment for a family vacation that had everything. Garage under the house for both cars and bikes that was very convenient. With water on both sides of the house

Combine that with the location st the harbor and you got a awesome location for a vacation

The only drawback was that we hade an apartment towards the road so we heard the cars if we had open windows

We had a short vacation and the rooms and pool were clean, the staff was polite. In terms of price, they charge 25 euros for a dog and 10 euros for parking
