Great location. Everything is within easy reach and it's quiet. They have a handheld hairdryer and disposable slippers. The bed is huge and comfortable.

It's close to Cologne Cathedral, and you could even see a little bit of the top of the cathedral from the balcony! Because the room was spacious, the heating wasn't very effective. Also, the entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find. There was a supermarket called REWE downstairs. I was able to use hot water from the kettle in what seemed to be the breakfast area in front of the front desk.

Everything is good but we need to walk for 15 mins from station.

The location is convenient and the room is clean and quiet. The space is great too. It is also very convenient to walk to the exhibition venue.

It is very close to the city center and can be reached on foot. Check in at 3 pm. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage for free. The service staff is very enthusiastic. I will choose this hotel next time.

The hotel provides only basic amenities, and is located on the top level of a parking garage which i found a bit inconvenient. Also the fact that we needed to wait for half an hour for check in because reception was empty didn't make it better. The location is in the very center of the city though.

Lovely, quiet location right by the river. Local shops are a 5 mins walk away. Nice breakfast set-up where you can sit inside, or outside on a lovely balcony with a few tables.

The lady at reception was very nice; she prepared the room beautifully. I had asked her to do this because my husband's birthday was the next day. She prepared everything with such care and attention, and then explained everything to us. That's what I call service. The room is lovely, and the bed is comfortable.

The hotel is in a residential neighborhhod, with pleasant cafes and shops. It is clean, and nicely furnished, with friendly staff, and a good breakfast. The breakfast also offers a good selection of tea, including black teas, as well as coffee. Also, some rooms offer smoking. It is near the U bahn, too. Far away from the city center. The single rooms has student's dormitories kind of bed. Breakfast is just okay. Rooms were small. Environment a bit bushy. I would give it five stars, but the "small" TV only had a few channels, the breakfast (although good for a continental) was limited, and the language barrier was a small challenge. The most recommended thing is the location! It is only a few hundred meters away from Cologne Train Station and Cologne Cathedral, and it is quiet in the bustle. The service facilities are very good, but there is one thing I am not satisfied with: the price on their own website is lower than the price on Ctrip! I felt a little unhappy when I found out.

There are cheaper hotels among the hotels next to the main fire. There is nothing to say. Even in the environment of the main fire, you still need to pay attention to safety. The service attitude is very good, but the facilities are very mediocre compared to those around them.

Hotel close to everything in old town Cologne.

The location could not be beat! On the river, a few blocks from the Dom and train station. Right in the middle of the Christmas Markets if you are traveling during that time. Room was older and smaller but definitely clean with a good restaurant below that we ate at a couple of times.

Our family of four were very happy with our two night stay here whilst in Cologne. The hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to all the citys attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful also. It is a very old hotel but we were comfortable and all slept well. A kettle with coffee making facilities in the room would have been a great addition.

Kind staff allowed me to rehearse (singing with guitar) in a quiet isolated room, like a fitness center for musicians! Expansive lobby area. Nice breakfast. Older building (no AC in room but big window that opened wide for breeze), but bathrooms/beds/desk etc modern. I had 2 rooms x 2 days and appreciated the rest and warm atmosphere.

It was okay for sleeping. However, the breakfast selection was rather mediocre. Bus connections to Cologne city are regular and easy to reach by bus directly from the hotel.

There are so many public areas in the hotel, it's nice to sit and have a beer. Note that the rooms do not have air conditioning. During the stay just in time for the exhibition, the house price is slightly expensive.

Nice and small hotel very friendly team

The room was unclean, infested with bedbugs, and I was bitten. The bites haven't healed in a week and are very serious. There was no individual notification, no one cleaned the room, there was no refrigerator, and only one bottle of water on the first day. The room was cleaned, but the water wasn't changed.

Very close to the Cathedral and train station within one block. In the middle of all of the restaurants and historic area. Decent price for this kind of hotel, clean rooms, efficient service, big bathrooms, soft beds, gets a bit hot in the summer. The reality was not at all what was advertised online. I arrived at the hotel and the reception area was quite run down and was not the actual location of my room. There was not a hotel but rather a boarding house self-entry building four blocks away.

What a beautiful small independent hotel in old town overlooking the beach and dove park. Usually stay in the big chain hotels and as it was a last minute holiday decided to book here at a very good price and so glad I did!! The view from the room is breathtaking to wake up to. I look for this Hotel just because it’s very good at its location, and you can easily get the connectivity. Rooms are pretty much good, clean and livable. This was the second time I got an experience staying in this hotel during the hot summer days in cologne and I missed air-conditioning room, which they don’t have, they provide fan. Stayed here for one night. Nice hotel. The rooms are fine, but the shower looks like it’s from the early 1900s. Who still uses a shower curtain these days? It’s not hygienic, especially in a hotel! The breakfast was disappointing too better to skip it.

The hotel is a no frills basic hotel. Pros - the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was nice and easy check in. Cons- location was a bit further from the markets, the shower could use an update and our neighbors were noisy at night.

The rooms were clean, and when I told the staff I would be leaving before 5 AM, they clearly explained how to check out and leave the hotel, since the reception desk wouldn't be there at that time.
