Stayed in Cologne 6.2.25. Got the 4-bed family room. Plenty of space for us all. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The lift is small and stairs are steep, no big deal. Dinner recommendation was on point! Only down side is trying to find parking to check in. The parking garage is half a block away and once accessed super easy. Totally recommend staying here!

It's close to Cologne Cathedral, and you could even see a little bit of the top of the cathedral from the balcony! Because the room was spacious, the heating wasn't very effective. Also, the entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find. There was a supermarket called REWE downstairs. I was able to use hot water from the kettle in what seemed to be the breakfast area in front of the front desk.

It is very close to the city center and can be reached on foot. Check in at 3 pm. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage for free. The service staff is very enthusiastic. I will choose this hotel next time.

The hotel provides only basic amenities, and is located on the top level of a parking garage which i found a bit inconvenient. Also the fact that we needed to wait for half an hour for check in because reception was empty didn't make it better. The location is in the very center of the city though.

The hotel is in a residential neighborhhod, with pleasant cafes and shops. It is clean, and nicely furnished, with friendly staff, and a good breakfast. The breakfast also offers a good selection of tea, including black teas, as well as coffee. Also, some rooms offer smoking. It is near the U bahn, too. My only caveats are that the bathroom is quite small, with a tub that is high to step into...

The most recommended thing is the location! It is only a few hundred meters away from Cologne Train Station and Cologne Cathedral, and it is quiet in the bustle. The service facilities are very good, but there is one thing I am not satisfied with: the price on their own website is lower than the price on Ctrip! I felt a little unhappy when I found out.

There are cheaper hotels among the hotels next to the main fire. There is nothing to say. Even in the environment of the main fire, you still need to pay attention to safety. The service attitude is very good, but the facilities are very mediocre compared to those around them.

Hotel close to everything in old town Cologne.

The location could not be beat! On the river, a few blocks from the Dom and train station. Right in the middle of the Christmas Markets if you are traveling during that time. Room was older and smaller but definitely clean with a good restaurant below that we ate at a couple of times.

Our family of four were very happy with our two night stay here whilst in Cologne. The hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to all the citys attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful also. It is a very old hotel but we were comfortable and all slept well. A kettle with coffee making facilities in the room would have been a great addition.

The room was unclean, infested with bedbugs, and I was bitten. The bites haven't healed in a week and are very serious. There was no individual notification, no one cleaned the room, there was no refrigerator, and only one bottle of water on the first day. The room was cleaned, but the water wasn't changed.

Very close to the Cathedral and train station within one block. In the middle of all of the restaurants and historic area. No staff really on site, a desk clerk for a few hours but nothing needed, the instructions are clear and they contacted me before our arrival. Our room was quite large with an upstairs loft!

Decent price for this kind of hotel, clean rooms, efficient service, big bathrooms, soft beds, gets a bit hot in the summer. The reality was not at all what was advertised online. I arrived at the hotel and the reception area was quite run down and was not the actual location of my room. There was not a hotel but rather a boarding house self-entry building four blocks away.

Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are not provided as is common in Europe, so you need to bring your own. I look for this Hotel just because it’s very good at its location, and you can easily get the connectivity. Rooms are pretty much good, clean and livable. This was the second time I got an experience staying in this hotel during the hot summer days in cologne and I missed air-conditioning room, which they don’t have, they provide fan. It was a lovely experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Breakfast was abundant and tasty and the service was excellent. The room has hairdryer and air-conditioning. The Hotel Sion is OK - nothing more, nothing less. The single room was very small but very clean, the location is super central, but noisy at weekends because of beer-loving tourists. The lady at the reception was just about unfriendly, we had to pay in advance, which is unusual.
