Our family of four were very happy with our two night stay here whilst in Cologne. The hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to all the citys attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful also. It is a very old hotel but we were comfortable and all slept well. A kettle with coffee making facilities in the room would have been a great addition.

The location could not be beat! On the river, a few blocks from the Dom and train station. Right in the middle of the Christmas Markets if you are traveling during that time. Room was older and smaller but definitely clean with a good restaurant below that we ate at a couple of times.

Clean room, perhaps due for a makeover. Friendly staff, delicious food. Family-run hotel. Very centrally located in the city. Definitely recommended.

This was our second visit, and I love every detail: the location, the service, and the food... for me, the food is the best part. I love German cuisine, and the restaurant is wonderful. I highly recommend it! And we will definitely be back.

We were in Cologne for few hours during our Rhine River Cruise. After visiting old town on our way to our ship, we stopped here for some time to relax. We had hot chocolate which was quite good. The service was equally good. The location was great overlooking river and promenade.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station, the cathedral, and the Rhine River. The staff are friendly and the price is reasonable for Germany. However, the rooms are quite small.

The hotel is located in a good spot. We can walk to many places such as Cologne Cathedral, Rhine River, restaurants, museums and etc.. The room was small and clean. The bathroom was clean. A great pick for me.

All personal were very efficient,friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean ,our view was excellant,.. i had reserved a double room for 2 with 2 twin beds,i was given a double occupancy with a single double bed... the hotel staff was able to accomodate with grace and efficiency. Highest praise for the desk clerk
