Where to stay in Koln

Great service and the room was spotless. The breakfast area had a lovely ambiance. The location is super convenient for transportation and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It's really close to the train station, which is perfect for train travel! It's a peaceful spot despite being in a lively area. Highly recommend!

The maid and the young guy at the reception are so kind with their great service mind but the rest are un-helpful. We book the family room but our building (4) has no lift. We have to carry our big bag down the stair.

Location good but hotel facilities and cleanness still low3/10. Additional, it is not recommended for families trip with kids they some of staffs were not friendly or happy about kids and many stuffs as families trip.

Very friendly service, perfect location though noisy due to its proximity to the train station. Cleanliness was mediocre, and the furnishings were quite run-down: torn bed linen, windows that didn't close properly, a broken lamp, and a shattered lamp in the bathroom.

The transportation is very convenient.

Very cosy, well located, staff amazing, very clean, very helpful, early check in & late checkout was nice. Breakfast delicious, well sound proofed, nice room temperature, luggage storage, WiFi great, coffee & fruit , small freezer whit essentials. Everything was great and beyond!

A little hard to find the place, look for Lip apartment sign when you get close to the hotel. No front desk. We happen to run into the guy when we arrived. There is a number to call, but we didn’t need to. Close to tram station, but takes about 30 mins to central area. Apartment has 2 supermarket really close by. Has everything you need to cook. The coffee maker was dirty with mold. Everything else...

The photo on the Expedia site is of one of the better rooms. Mine is half the size. I was told "all the double rooms which are free are on the street side, which is loud." That may well be true, but it is small and basic. A better student dormer room. What can you do? There's a trade show on right now and all the rooms are taken or too dear.

It's alright. As I didn't care much about exploring city was good. 10min walk to train so you get to lanxess arena two shops nearby and Domino's yay xD would be really good of rooms would have English TV.

Very communicative manager, nice rooms with bathroom and kitchenette, cleaning once a week, nothing luxery but for cheap weekend in Cologne or short time rent I recommend!

It's great in every way. The hotel offers courteous service, and the transportation is especially convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and you can also visit the Christmas market. I would recommend this hotel in Cologne to my friends.

The room is very unique. The kitchen is fully equipped. The heater is warm.

Kitchen was fully stocked Beds comfortable and room was like vintage German. We love our stay party of 6 . Very reasonable in price. Only downfall was parking but that’s Germany .

The location is a bit far from Cologne Central Station, making transportation somewhat inconvenient. The front desk service was rather cold, and the communication experience was just so-so. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're visiting for tourism. There are also limited dining options nearby, which isn't very convenient.

I stayed here when I went to see Cologne Cathedral. It's close to the station and seems to have a good security atmosphere, so I was able to travel without any worries. Thank you for your kind hospitality at check-in. The room was clean, which was nice. Soap, shampoo, etc. are not provided, so remember to bring your own. It was a shame that I couldn't have breakfast because check-out was before 7am...

I was happy to find a washing machine. I didn't know how to use it, so I asked the receptionist, who kindly explained it to me. They also helped me use it. I was very grateful. The location is excellent, about 20 minutes by subway from Cologne Station. The room was just as expected, a dormitory, neither bad nor bad, but average in a good way.

All around a wonderful experience. Clean private room, very warm and friendly staff, great location that feels local but is still close enough to the city centre. Walkable area with lots of restaurants and a giant park that’s worth walking through if you have time. Would recommend to all friends.

Nice hostel! The kitchen was big and the bread and cheese in the morning was very generous. The staff were friendly. The location is in a nice area with a park and nice coffee shops. Better than expected. Staff are all lovely and even opened the group room for our party of 8. Room was basic but clean and well appointed. Blinds didn’t really keep the morning light out well. There was a bit of a funny smell but not horrible! Breakfast was good and included. All round very good

Our 9th grade class had a wonderful stay at the Cologne Hostel. We lacked nothing. Thank you so much! The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Arrival and departure went smoothly. Our students especially enjoyed the common room in the basement, where they could relax and hang out until late in the evening. Highly recommended!

I only have good things to say about this hostel. Very warm reception and basically in the city center.

Clean. Modern room. Bright. A lot of windows. It's in the city center (pro and con) so if you open the window it can be noisy (restaurant, motorcycle, police - windows have a good noise cancelling. Friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Kids friendly. No air-condition. Nice terrace. Visited in spring. Nothing to complain about.

Really comfortable, clean and secure. My first solo travel experience and I was anxious about how secure my belongings would be. I couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. For such a popular and busy bar, noise was relatively nonexistent.
