The Island - Adults Only in Kato Gouves

Travelled with a group of 4. Terrible experience, outdated rooms and elevator, bugs in lights, We got to the hotel and were not properly greeted we were just asked to copy our passports and then one of the party had to wait two hours to get in because it wasn't ready. Meaning he had to haul his luggage around for that time. The rooms were small and only 1 had a genuine sea view, the other two had pool or garden views though we paid for sea. They did not set up our keycard so when we left our hotel room after they had let us in. We could not get back in, meaning we bad to wait, soaked from being in the sea, 30 minutes to get back in to have a proper shower. The dinner options were not good on most days meaning we ate out a lot and if we didn't go to breakfast first thing, Our food was cold. The hotel is suggested to be a 5* but I can't see it being higher than a 2 or a 3. The hotel made our first day experience miserable and regret going. The DJ at the pool during the afternoon was playing the same EDM music you'd expect at a nightclub as people were trying to read or casually swim.

The only saviour was the location as the views when we left our rooms were gorgeous. Oh and the cats were cute.
