The hotel is not in the heart of downtown, but its location is still convenient, with the Syntagma Square, Hellenic Parliament, and National Garden just a half-hour walk away, and only a 15-minute walk to the Lycabettus Hill

The only negative was that the internet/wireless was not very strong in the room that we were assigned which was frustrating. All in all, an excellent hotel that combines comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, but one person deserves special mention - Vangelis, whose kindness and attention to detail truly stood out, making our stay memorable

The staff was amazing very accommodating to our every need. Very clean and I really loved the bright and fun motif of the hotel. Especially the roof top beach and restaurant

Breakfast was fresh, varied, and satisfying. The hotel rooftop restaurant has excellent food at very reasonable prices, with quick and friendly service

We didn’t use the beach facilities because of the weather but we dined at the restaurant good food and excellent service. I Would definitely recommend and would stay there again

Everyone is genuinely sweet, kind and helpful. The gym is great, sauna is amazing and breakfast was perfect. Room was beautifully designed, cosy, comfortable bed and very good pillows!

We hope the management team will address issues such as "noise control for late-night activities," "air conditioning system and room temperature control authority," "stay extension procedures and internal handover," and "service attitude and training of front desk staff," because the current standard does not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel

I understand the hotel may have offered compensation afterward, but I want to emphasize that travelers choosing to stay at five-star hotels don't prioritize "receiving some compensation," but rather expect a quiet, comfortable, and consistent quality of accommodation from the outset, along with professional and respectful service

Second, there's the air conditioning/temperature control issue: On my first day, the room was extremely hot, which I completely couldn't understand why the air conditioning was set so stuffy in Greece's approximately 11°C weather; however, the air conditioning was later locked at 20°C, becoming very cold and difficult to adjust

For travelers, basic rest quality is the bare minimum a hotel should guarantee, but this hotel forced guests to endure prolonged noise disturbances in their rooms, directly undermining the core value of the accommodation

Worse still, the counter staff were indifferent, impatient, and lacked basic courtesy and respect when assisting with the card replacement, making me feel like I wasn't a paying guest but rather an intruder

My wife and I spent 9 nights at the Dolli in celebration of her birthday and I can't recommend this property more highly! The location is ideal for exploring Athens and the hospitality they provided was above and beyond

The crown jewel of this boutique hotel is the rooftop restaurant, pool and outdoor seating/lounging area with a mesmerizing veiw of the Acropolis! Wow, wow, wow! However, all the amenities offered still didn't match the service and hospitality provided by the tremendous staff

Meal reservations, tour arrangements, and some special cleaning and dietary needs were all handled without hesitation. We hope to return soon and also explore some of their other properties throughout Greece

The venue includes both a hotel and a cafe and they offer an afternoon tea experience with an open buffet featuring a lovely mix of sweet and savory options

The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful special mention to Alexandria, who was absolutely wonderful. The desserts were outstanding

I almost never revisit the same place while traveling, as I usually prefer discovering new spots, but this was a clear exception

Went to dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant! Everything was amazing! The staff extremely polite and respectful! The food worth Michelin star !!! Flavor, presentation, taste, everything was outstanding!!! Overall we had an incredible experience and we will visit again!!!

It was comfortable and met all my needs perfectly. The amenities were well-maintained, and the room offered a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. On my second visit, I opted for the Executive Suite

We were never planning on coming back, but this hotel made the decision to come back in the future easy. Easy walking distance to local restaurants, bars, breweries, cafe's, and the Parthenon

However, be aware that those driving a B-class car or above, or an SUV or MPV, should exercise caution: the parking lot is very cramped, and the elevator only accommodates two people

Our room on the top floor had a view of the Acropolis, was equipped with a refrigerator, had a good shower and hot water came out quickly, so the room was warm and nice

If you're carrying a 26-inch suitcase, both of you will have to sit on it

Location and service were really great, we liked so much

The room itself was also very nice, so we could easily spread out two suitcases without any problems. The porters and receptionists were kind, and they also looked after our luggage, so it was very convenient

They were so kind to us and did everything in their power to allow us to checkout early and even ask management if we could get a refund (which we were not expecting at all due to booking a nonrefundable room)

The bathroom was HUGE and the room had a balcony which led out from both the bathroom and the sleeping area. It was so nice to come back to the hotel and enjoy a nice glass of wine on the balcony

Clean and tidy, but the hotel is a bit old. The location is good, about a 10-minute drive from the airport and an hour from Shipwreck Beach. There are restaurants and such downstairs.

It is very close to the Acropolis Museum, Acropolis and other attractions, and is also close to the subway. The hotel is quiet and clean, with rich breakfast. There are fruit shops and small shops nearby

Great location, literally a step away from Acropolis. The MVP is the AM shift manager, was nice enough to give me the room as soon as possible which was a lifesaver after a 12hr red eye flight

Had a wonderful day, and the location was super convenient. My only wish would be for a wider breakfast selection. It's right by the subway and close to the main street, and you can even walk to the Acropolis.

There is an app you can use to control the AC, which was helpful, but for some reason, it turned off in the middle of the night and I woke up sweating. So I had to open the app again and reset it

The room was spacious and very modernly decorated. We stayed here 5 nights and each had some different special Greek dishes. The staff is very warm and friendly. Above all, the location is ideal

I was worried because it was a crime-ridden area, but it was okay. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. Although the room was a bit old, it was good for a family trip of 4 because there were two bathrooms

It's an easy walk to the main areas but one thing I wish we had known was that just a side street off the plaza across the street is a more charming walk into the best areas towards Plaka

Hostel is a good low cost (for central Athens) “no frills” place to stay in an ideal location in Monastiraki.

You need to repared your own towel, shampoo and shower gel. The place is average, not that bad. The shower room in my bedroom is quite small. You can hear all the noises from the hallway in my room

The happy hour wine is also disappointing — it’s just very cheap boxed wine, which doesn’t match the expectation. As for the staff, the cleaning staff were quite unfriendly, often not even acknowledging greetings

It’s extremely basic: cheap sliced bread, low-quality ham and cheese, yogurt, cereal, a small cake, and fruit that wasn’t fresh (some pieces were even spoiled). It feels overpriced for what you get

The mattresses were very uncomfortable — you can feel the springs, and even after changing beds it didn’t improve. For the price, this is not acceptable. The breakfast is definitely not worth €6

Good hotel not far from the center. The rooms are old, but for one night it is quite suitable. We lived on the 7th floor, view of the Acropolis

How you enjoy your your stay here depends which direction you choose when exiting the hotel. It is essential to turn left then left again and carry on to shops and restaurants

A right turn will take you past what the other reviews have mentioned,and most likely result in a bad review

Our room, however, was pretty gross. It wreaked of cigarette smoke and the smell stuck to our clothes and followed us for the rest of our vacation to the other places we stayed. And it wasn't very clean either

The libby of the hotel was pretty nice. You could get specialty coffes, tea, pastries, etc. at the counter and there was a nice vending machine with drinks and foods, more than just snack food for cheap

However, when our Uber driver dropped us off he warned us not to go out at night because it was not a safe area. On our walks, we saw a lot of things that told us that was probably pretty accurate

Bad weather and location of hotel resulted in having to get taxis everywhere apart from 2 days when taxis were on strike as no good restaurants nearby. Not safe for women walking alone at night Would not recommend

This brings me to my most important point - Ομόνοια (omonia), the area that surrounds the hotel. It is the ‘worst’ neighbourhood in terms of safety in Athens

At first glance the hotel looked welcoming, room comfortable, reception staff very friendly, polite and helpful, however Wifi didn't work for 3 days, they offered conference room

Locals will warn you about it, you will notice that development in the area is stunted

Everything was great until the last three days of our stay. The hotel’s Wi-Fi stopped working, and no one seemed in a hurry to fix the problem

The hotel was really nice and right on the main road close to two metro stations at very walkable distance. They provided me with 7th floor road facing balcony room on request which was perfect for me

A hotel close to the city center, metro station, and restaurants. The breakfast is decent but continental. The internet doesn't work, but that's irrelevant as I was in Athens to visit the city.

Great location, friendly staff. Good value for money. The breakfast is only mediocre – there are few vegetarian options and no fresh fruit or vegetables.

We arrived early, and the staff was very helpful in allowing us to store our luggage in a secure room until our room was ready. The breakfast was outstanding and the bar is on site with small meals available

The room is a bit small, but it has everything you need. The air conditioning temperature couldn’t be adjusted — I’m not sure if it was a usage issue or if the system simply doesn’t allow temperature control

The location is very convenient, close to Omonia Metro Station, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. There are several highly rated restaurants and multiple supermarkets right downstairs

Stayed at Dave Red Athens Hotel for a night. Immaculate, great ambiance, excellent service, top-notch facilities. A perfect choice for couples, highly recommended!

Great location (very walkable), and the kindest staff. It has a rooftop with jacuzzi, and we had a vinyl player in our room that we could use.

The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere

We appreciate the room change after we expressed discomfort over the bathrooms (all the bathroom doors are see through and the doors do not close properly and can be particularly awkward if you are sharing a room especially when the bathroom door is in front of the bed)

The breakfast is simple and good, however in winter, especially during cold or rainy seasons the outdoor seating becomes undesirable and the indoor seating is limited so there were quite a few times where we had to wait for a seat

We had a very nice stay at the Lekka Hotel. The staff was friendly and informative and the private spa was a lovely experience. It is located very close to all the sights and good food spots

You can also hear people came home or leaving like they are in you room. For us we just put white noise and went straight to sleep. The spa and sauna was really good as well

If you are a light sleeper I don't recommend as the night club behind the hotel will keep you up. But for my friends who stayed in a nicer room than us did not hear a thing

However I can imagine it would be nice in the summer because you can choose to eat at the rooftop where they have an impressive gorgeous view of Athens

This is my first hotel in Athens. There are ancient monuments underground and the Acropolis can be seen from the terrace. The hotel staff was very nice and helped us check in early and packed breakfast for the next day
