Very good location, metro station is few minutes away and it is on Airport Blue line route. Shopping and Acropolis are around, central to everything

Just too bad i was only there for a layover. But I love the cleanliness and location especially the roof top bar has a nice view of Acropolis that made me “wow”. Definitely will stay there if I visit Athen again. ❤️

The Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok

Sadly there was a night club / live music until 2am lucky we had been awake very early to fly so just about managed to get to sleep. Maybe worth checking this before booking if you have a room at the back

Close to a supermarket, cafe’s everywhere (you have to get yourself a real Greek coffee- now that’s a caffeine hit you will need after travelling 😉) and there is amazing authentic Greek Food all around

A rooftop bar with acropolis view and a lower ground storage are a bonus. Though the lift is too small can only accommodate 2 or three people, the breakfast is included

It’s also only a 10-15 minute walk to Monastiraki and Syntagma Square. Overall, a very good stay with excellent service and a convenient location! We would definitely stay here again

We ended up opening the window and fortunately it was not noisy, but a few mosquitoes did get in. It seems the air conditioning may be turned off during the winter months

The hotel is located in a more grungy part of Athens but we never felt unsafe. It’s right by Ominia square which has many restaurants and bakeries. It’s near the metro station, making travel to the airport so easy

Everything was very clean and the staff were awesome. From the front desk, breakfast attendants and housekeeping, everyone was friendly and attentive

Breakfast was bountiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Our room was comfortable and clean, though it did get a bit warm

It's a bit noisy and dirty outside the window as described, but it's not noticeable when the window is closed. The amenity shampoo smelled really good.

I wish I had taken pictures of the hotel to recommend it to other people. The location is perfect - with numerous brunch places and attractions nearby and the subway being less than 10 minutes away

There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, which made me choose the hotel. I had the room with two beds, and it was enough for two people with two small luggages open. The bathroom was also very clean and wide

I would definitely come back here when I visit Athens again!

Perfect location! We took the metro from the airport to the hotel and didn't need to use public transport again after that. Everything was within walking distance. The room was lovely, clean, and well-decorated

The room was a little worst that I was expecting (very small and bad not very comfortable), cleaning every day without asking, no parking, but close to the center if you want to walk

Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. Walkable to Acropolis museum and entrance. I really like my room with balcony with views of the Acropolis especially at night .

The location was perfect, the service was very gracious. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the sitting chairs in the room to be uncomfortable but the bed and bedding were fine, as was the bathroom and shower

The people there are very nice and to be honest, I don’t have anything to complain about. Rooms was so clean and the room service folks clean it everyday. Also the rate is soo good comparing to the location

Excellent location with well-appointed facilities. The rooftop bar offers stunning views of the Acropolis. Breakfast was very good. Soundproofing isn't the best, but I assume that's typical for an older building.

The most comfortable bedding I’ve ever experienced in 50 years of travel. Finally a hotel that has firm useful pillows rather than just plastic bags filled with air. Great food around every corner

The room was limited in that there wasn’t any drawers or shelving to unpack so we lived out of our suitcases. The main entrance was a store so it threw us off a bit. It was centrally located but lots of street noise

The only slight improvement I would make is an update to the room’s LG Smart Television’s — the streaming connection is an outdated version that doesn’t really work anymore

the hotel was really beautiful with an interesting concept, very clean, contemporary, the rooms are incredibly spacious and the staff was super friendly

Perhaps invest in smart TV’s that have the most common Chromecast and/or ApplePlay systems which are much more simple and require less intervention

You can walk to the central of Athens, including attractions like Ancient Agora and Roman Agora. If you walk further south into the area, the famous Acropolis and the museum can be reached

In conclude, just a good 3-stars standard hotel, near city center, for budget! Lastly, just no worry on foods, some 24hr restaurants, maybe that Bread Factory hah

Near train station of Central Athens, for 15 minutes walk (btw the announce from train only saying "Athina", some mess). Connect easily to metro Larissa Station

Although some comments mentioned the locating area of hotel is a little bit not safe, this is just basic living area of locals (though some root level). Just keep yourself alerts, and they are not willing to border you

We came to run the marathon in Athens and the location was perfect as it was close to the starting line and also close to where they pick you up on buses to go to the starting line in Marathon

Hotel has great locationnfor getting around Athens. Reception staff were very pleasant and super helpful when I left my purse in a taxi (was retrieved)

The staff was OUTSTANDING! We interacted with Elina, Dionisis, Diumtris, George and Lefteris at the front desk and they went above and beyond to help us as one of our member of our party had flight cancelation and delay issues

Having dinner on the roof top was truly enjoyable with great food and wonderful staff. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Hera Hotel for anyone who is looking for a great place to say in Athens even for just a few days

The team at the front desk help us arrange transportation to pick her up when her flight finally arrived. The room staff did a great job having our room ready and keeping it clean for us

It completely ruined my sleep that night and I am normally a heavy sleeper. They moved me to a different floor the next day which was nice, but the staff should have had much more control and not let it go on for hours

They were acting like little children, running through the hall and knocking on doors from midnight to 4am. Both hotel staff and their teachers failed to keep them quiet for more than a few minutes at a time

There is outdoor noise, which can be expected from the location, but can be quite easily ignored by drawing the curtains. That was not really a bother so much as the indoor noise from the other guests

Even with better behaved guests you can hear everything from the hall. Would not recommend this hotel to light sleepers. That said, the noise from other guests is the only reason my review is not 5 stars

I was here for 3 nights in early December, so the tourist off-season. The rooms were superb, very comfortable and high quality and clean

We even had an unexpected travel complication that was unrelated to the hotel that she worked diligently to help resolve. It is rare to find such personal and professional customer service, but Eva excels at this

The rooms were of average size but were very clean and well maintained, and the beds were quite comfortable. If you are visiting Athens as a tourist it is hard to imagine a better location

I'm so positively surprised about how great everything was in this hotel! The location is unbeatable, right in the center of everything with great views from the room but also from the terrace where you have a panoramic view of Athens and a super close view of Parthenon! The staff are so kind and friendly, I couldn't ask for a smoother and friendlier stay

Center at the heart of Athens and the inner city, this hotel is a gem! From accommodations to food, it was very awing. First, the staff members are super friendly and approachable

Super nice hotel, room was gorgeous, bathrooms impeccable, good breakfast (although due to covid was not buffet-style) but the coffee was amazing!! The only thing to consider is that if you prefer a firmer mattress, be prepared for a very soft one

We had no issues checking in and they are very informative. Our time spent in Greece was chaotic during the COVID-19 pandemic, but our last night at the Editor Hotel Athens tied up this trip into a wonderful experience

Nice big, modern room with good shower. Street is a bit noisy but its a great location close to cafes, restaurants and bars. Easy to get to the Acropolis site and museum. Good for shopping and transport links

The Publisher, Editor Hotels Restaurant was amazing. The server we had was super friendly and the food was outstanding. I am amazed by setup and how quick the service was for breakfast

Location: It's located in a safe, yet centrally located area, offering easy access to tourist attractions such as the Acropolis, Plaka Street, shopping, the School of Athens, and the National Gardens

Easy walk to all the major sites in Athens. Patio was nice for fresh air. Thick glass windows and door kept the city noise out. No views of the city - but why come to Athens just to sit in your room?

Cleanliness and Friendliness: The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. For our group of 26 who arrived around 11:30 AM, they prepared rooms early for us, allowing for an early check-in

It’s a very great hotel. We enjoyed our time there. The service was friendly, helpful and great. Breakfast was good as well and the hotel is in a safe middle area of Athen. I highly recommend that hotel.

What truly makes the place special is the people — genuinely kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Their warmth gives the hotel a soul and makes you feel more like a guest in a home than a visitor passing through

breakfast variety is not huge, but service and quality are great ! we really enjoyed breakfast. The service overall was great. Location is not in the center, but very close to public transportation

I am very impressed that the hotel provides complimentary wines in the evening between 7:00pm-8:00pm and morning Pilate lesson at roof top garden overlooking view of the city and Acropolis, bottled fresh smoothies were served after the lesson

Small details are my favourite part and they were all so amazing: the yoga mat, the amazing corridor smell, the branded cups and the mini bar which is seriously top level

The view from its balcony makes you feel that you're exactly in Athens as it looks towards its streets. The receptionist was helpful and provided a luggage storage area for us on our check-out day

I do not believe they have a kitchen on site and therefore the food was not fresh looking and fresh made. The roof terrace was closed due to being ‘off season’. All in all it was good value for money

Everything was perfect amazing stay very clean room the breakfast to the other building was very good and a lot of things of the buffet

I am an in shape 50 year old and hot flashes were raging at night here. The hotel maid was friendly and efficient. We got a free large bottle of water each day and that was much appreciated

They very politely offered complimentary breakfast as we extended our stay, but we ended up not using it because we could not get out of the very comfortable bed in the morning! They also offered a discount for future use before we checked out

The hotel is quite good, the room is spacious, dry and wet are separated, and the terrace is beautiful. The overall feeling is good. The advantage of large rooms is quite prominent in Europe.
