Excellent hotel with very helpful staff, well appointed rooms. Well equipped gym and a Michelin star restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which looked out into the main square. Though we were in the busy area, the pario doors insulate against the traffic noise and it was quiet inside.

My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon. The service was polite, friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast was inexpensive and very good. I hope to stay there again next time I am in Athens.

The room was fairly clean, but the surrounding environment was a bit average, as it's located slightly north of the city center. The good thing is that the room is cleaned daily, and the sheets and other bedding are always spotless.

This hotel is well-managed. On my first day, I had a cockroach in my room, but the staff moved me to another one late at night. The room was clean and tidy. Cleaning time can be a bit noisy, but there was no noise at night. Breakfast consisted of yogurt and bread, which was simple and the ingredients weren't very fresh, but for what you pay for, it was acceptable.

Easier to find food. Close to town. The only problem is,kettle was not provided in the room. But luckily staff was friendly and helped me to get hot drink.

The hotel is for sure not a 4 star. The room heating was closed and could not be turned on - they responded that the outside temperatures were still variabile and they could not open heating yet. The location is very convenient, right in the city center, with many restaurants and bars across the street. The overall environment is great, and the value is excellent. The Greek yogurt for breakfast is delicious. Fresh and natural. 👍 Many Americans stay here.

A good choice to stay close to the downtown Athens. The rooms are good, not that outdated. The amenities are okay. The breakfast is good, however, a choice of fresh fruits is not there. And the quality of coffee could be better given that Greece is the land of Capuccino Freddo :-)

I stayed for two nights. The room was very spacious and had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient. I had to leave early on the second day for a tour, so I asked for takeout breakfast, which they kindly prepared for me, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. Although a simple room, it was clean and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. We ate in the hotel both dinner and breakfast. Good food, great value and very hospitable service. Very nice. Arrived following cruise at 10am (check in wasn’t until 2/3pm) and they had our room ready and waiting. They were kind, provided water bottle and taxi for airport following morning.

We liked how close this property was to the Acropolis and nice restaurants, all with a 30 minute wall or less. The hotel is used to sleep while you are in Athens for a couple of days, the location is complicated, since it is located in an unsafe neighborhood at night and quite abandoned and dirty. Otherwise it is fine.

A fantastic hotel with a super convenient location right on Constitution Square! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious. I have to make a comment about Nicolas. This young man is exceptional. He helped my wife and I out tremendously with directions, speedy service and transportation. He is a hard worker and his care of the customers is far above outstanding. We were there only on November the 7th, 2025 and departed on the 8th. The staff was excellent. We arrived at 8:30 am and our room was ready and we were allowed to check in. Also, the hotel is very clean and located right in the heart of Athens. Very easy to get to things.

Hotel was clean and close to shopping and great restaurants. Only problem I had was not been able to control the air. The room was hot, so wr slept with windows open. We were very happy with our accommodations at the Vasi Hotel which was very close to much shopping in dining areas , all within walking distance. Our room was large and very comfortable for the three of us. The entire staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to please us. We will definitely book with the Vasi Hotel in the future when we’re in Athens.

Great location! Had an interior room which is great for those who want quiet and are there for a short time. Had 2 small windows. Which have as little light. Great for sleeping after a long day of travel. The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating!

Amentities are awful. Toothbrush, razor are useless. Bathroom ventilation is poor. We will not choose this property any other time under any circumstances. Breakfast is only good side. Noisy location must be mentioned.

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance of all the main tourist sites in town. The staff are attentive and helpful. We got an upgrade, which we really appreciated. However, the air conditioning in my room did not heat properly and had an unfresh smell.

Very good hotel, with very good adaptations to make the most of the building, given that it is not very new. The room is controlled from a tablet, which sometimes causes confusion or disconnections, but it is not serious. The room is very dark, that can be a problem. The area is difficult, it is the centre of Athens and has some complicated streets around it, but it is manageable.

Perfect central location. Our room was spacious, and had everything you could want for a stay, including kettle, coffee machine, safe, and an excellent hairdryer!

*This review is only for the restaurant* We dinned there after a wedding ceremony. The prepared menu was neatly cooked and all the varieties of meat tasted great. For a restaurant of a 4-star hotel though, it wasn't something spectacular. The waiting staff were fast and polite, despite the 70 people that they had to serve. If you want to stay here, you will possibly enjoy the restaurant too.

Value for money... it could be better

The hotel was amazing with very friendly staff and the breakfast was fantastic. The room was great and clean. The host in the restaurant, George was really cute and nice. I would definitely stay there again, wish I could stay longer.

The best swimming pool in Athens, we love visiting Fenix because it is a tranquil place where we can enjoy our swimming.

Room didn’t match the pictures online, bathroom had mould on the roof and was generally average. Mattress dipped in the middle. The reception didn’t let us keep our key which we googled and saw is normal in Europe but after 22 European countries I have never experienced it. Area around the hotel is a bit dodgy but that’s not their fault

The staff are amazing, the cleaner will eventually ignore the do not disturb sign, be careful where you step in the near vicinity of the hotel, drug users about. If you want local food for breakfast head left out of the hotel then left again, a little ways up is a great cafe.

The room was average, a little small. Good service and correct attention. What we didn't like is that even though we considered the location to be quite central, all the surrounding areas were plagued by drug *******, a very serious problem that they suffer in Athens as you move away from the central tourist areas.

Second stay at the Palace, past its heyday. Impressive marble clad building. Clean and tidy but some features a bit rattly (air con, cupboard and floors creaky) spotlights through the curtains made for some small disturbance but an otherwise pleasant stay

Because I was on a business trip, I chose a hotel far from the city. But the weather in Athens was good. The hotel looked great. It was close to a commercial area. The surrounding restaurants were also good. But there was a bad smell outside the hotel.
