One night before getting our rental boat for a week in the Greek archipelago, we stayed at hotel tropical. Clean and well organised hotel. We’re happy to stay there close to the beach and to restaurants with nice menues.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. The location is a bit out of the way, but the view is nice. I was surprised by the small ooms. The beds are tiny, they felt kid sized. The walls are thin and you can hear every noise in the hallway. It was enough to keep me up for a while. Ear plugs let me sleep. We were not able to connect to the internet at all....

excellent value for money the staff is super nice and professional the bus stop to and from the airport is less then two min. walk from the hotel the beach is across the street. room was big and comfortable breakfast ok can be more selection and tasty.

The location of the house is very good. It is on the street of Glyfada. The beach is just across the road and you can go swimming. It is also close to the commercial street and it is very convenient to buy food and go shopping. The hotel customer service Christina and Julia are warm and thoughtful. The room was spotless, a good size, with good facilities. The hotel is really well looked after and the staff were fantastic. The hotel is located in a walking distance from the Acropolis which is helpful as a tourist. However since it is situated next door to the market, it tends to be a bit noisy and not so touristy looking. The hotel would not give me my Marriott points and may have the slowest elevator on the planet. The room was a bit small but managable. The shower was rain-style. My son and I recently stayed at Candia Hotel in Athens. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location was handy to the metro and the rooftop has a spectacular 360 degree view of Athens including the Parthenon. The service was polite, friendly and attentive, and the buffet breakfast was inexpensive and very good. I hope to stay there again next time I am in Athens.

The hotel is for sure not a 4 star. The room heating was closed and could not be turned on - they responded that the outside temperatures were still variabile and they could not open heating yet. I have yet to see a 4 star hotel with no possibility of heating the room, even more when the nights felt chilly. Amazing location, breathtaking views and best service. For such a beautiful spot, the only problem is their washrooms. Very tiny when sharing, the poor person sitting on the loo will get their knees crushed by the door. To be honest the mold all over the tub/shower caulking was not very appealing either. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Syntagma Square with a metro station nearby, and there are tons of restaurants in the area, making both transportation and dining incredibly convenient.
