Me and my family loved staying at this hotel, the rooms are average but I loved that my room was directly opposite the pool. Staff were very friendly and supportive, there's no halal food but on request they can provide halal chicken only. Lisa that cleaned my room everyday was very lovely and patient she made our stay extra helpful she needs a bonus. We went there October 2025 it was off peak season...
Great hotel, excellent staff. Small and friendly. Looking a little old now. But remember the Greek hotel star system is different to ours. What you think is a 4 or 5 star, is not the same as the UK. But nevertheless it was still a good hotel. Excellent for food for main dinning. Kitchen and serving staff really good. George the barman very good. Will use again at some point.
Really strange place as I can think of some good points - and then some not so good points - but then did have a decent holiday....so here goes. We wanted an All Inclusive holiday where our sole intention was to crash out for the week and get some late summer sunshine. We arrived Monday 6th October for the week. PROS Great location - 2-3 minute walk to the beach - cracking beach bar there too Right...
⭐️⭐️ Overall rating: More like a 2★ than a 5★ by UK standards (and worth remembering hotel standards in this country are often lower than many other European five stars). Pros: Room 801 was spacious with lovely views Staff were friendly and attentive Food was excellent overall (the real highlight) Great location Cons: Hot tub in the room was tired and dated Deep-fried eggs at breakfast (a flat frying...
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavor. The bar is cozy and well-stocked, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional—staff were always friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and...
Overall it is quite nice I enjoyed it. I like the food even though I think snacks should switch up a bit, the pool is nice. Rooms are cleaned everyday. However I think it lacks entertainment and was quite boring sometimes at the night.

Exceptional hotel for business or leisure. Great central location and spacious clean & renovated rooms. Service and reception desk was very professional, kind and caring all day. If you are lucky you might have a partial view of the Acropolis from your room. Totally recommended for your stay in Athens.
Our five-night stay at abov Athens was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to most major sites. It is perfectly clean and all the staff is very helpful. Although our room overlooked a busy street, inside it was quiet. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens and we will surely book here again when we visit Athens again. Paul and Anna Malta
We stayed at ABOV Athens for a short visit and were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. We arrived at the hotel at 6:00AM on a Sunday morning to be greeted by Mr Dimitris. A true godsend after a 9 hour flight. Regardless of the hour Mr Dimitris took our luggage and offered us a room to get changed and use of their WC. Early that afternoon, Mr Dimitris contacted me to inform me that the...
The hotel staff was very friendly! They were super helpful with holding our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the city more before our flight. The rooms were a bit noisy but it fit in with the downtown, city vibe. Very nice spot!
The service at this place is the defining feature (in addition to the location). The first day we came in early and they gave us a room pretty quickly which was very nice. The last day I had an issue at the airport and had to come back and they let me go back to my room and have a late checkout without charging me anything and that is the reason if I’m ever in Athens again I will be back at this hotel...

First some positives - staff were incredibly helpful and polite, amenities such as mini bar and robes were lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a very central location, easy to walk to any of the sites and easy to get to by public transport. Hotel is very hard to find, it was pure luck that the concierge was outside smoking and asked us if we were looking for the hotel. The...
First of all it was an amazing location. Small walk to all of Athens best locations. The room was great. Loved the bathroom and the jacuzzi was fantastic and worked well which is rarely the case. It could be a little more private but we used it just fine. The spa was wonderful with very welcoming staff. At first we were a little disappointed we had to pay extra for the spa but actually it was a...
We loved the old-fashioned room decor and the convenience of near all tourist attractions. The Fresco room was spacious, and the hot tub at the balcony (bring bathing suit) was a plus after hours of long walks.
Restaurant connected to hotel with tons of drink options. The bar staff was verybfriendly and spoke great English.
The entrance is through the restaurant, makes it feel a bit less safe and we had some trouble figuring this out. Checkin/checkout otherwise was easy and straight forward. We had a great stay - the room was amazing, quite big for europe with high ceilings, they could have probably made the bathroom bigger by even just 1 foot on each side, would make a huge difference. Pretty weird though that I was...
Don’t trust! They had a room with a queen and a single but for some reason they wouldn’t let three of us stay in it. Three women that were going on a cruise the next day and only rented it for one night. We had to get a whole new room for the third person and that was just wrong!

On the sea with a nice view. Now next to the construction site of the Hellenic projects. Kind and nuce staff. Excellent value for money. The big minus and unacceptable was that to use the sink you had to get into the shower!!! Luckily it had a shower and not a bathtub because otherwise it would have required a long dive for the sink. Apart from the laughter we had, we wet our winter slippers to take...
It’s a bit out of the way of restaurants and shops, but it’s just a short walk along the promenade to get to them. Rooms could do with a bit more maintenance, but they were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are old, especially bathroom. Hotel interior is also old, but it works. Breakfast is good. Biggest advantage is pool and chill zone and it's location just next to the beach. Staff was friendly, except the ladies at reception desk, there were very unfriendly and I had feeling that I bother them when I asked anything.
As most of the Hotels in Athens the one close to the see offer less for the price. I found the personal friendly and the hotel was in a nice position in front of the see. The rooms were not so pretty and I didn't like at all the pillows. I was there for work and when I'm on a business trip I mostly appreciate a good bed
Very cheap hotel, good service attitude, but the room windows are not soundproof and right next to the main road, the noise is very loud
Nice pool, great staff. Very nice view from rooftop room. Be mindful that the area in general has severe construction going on, to one site of the hotel. It isn't noisy though and doesn't affect the beach onwards.

Rooms are clean. Have all you need. Staff are brilliant and very friendly. Located right near the beach and beside the tram up to the city centre. Would highly recommend for couples.
The hotel has a great location, a 7-minute walk to the nearest beach. Sun loungers are available for a fee, or you can use a free spot. The room was cozy, with windows overlooking a small garden, and it was very quiet. The breakfast isn't very varied, but there are plenty of delicious places for lunch and dinner in the area. The reception staff was very helpful, a big thank you!
First off - the staff both day and evening front desk were amazing. Kind. Friendly. Polite. And extremely helpful. Rooms were average, but we had 4 beds and they brought a cot in for the toddler making sleeping for 5 a huge bonus. Breakfast was a continental style setup, with a very large selection (included in the room rate). Free wifi. I'd come back and stay in a heartbeat.
Great hotel it’s rated 4* Greek, would probably say it’s more a 3* in the UK. It’s a great hotel before and after yachting out of Alimos. Rooms are clean and basic with a few config options. Ground floor has lots of seats/couches to relax in, plus a nice breakfast area. It’s maybe 400 metres to the beach, 200 metres to the President restaurant ( which is very good ) about 300 metres to a few shopping...
I stayed at this hotel for a few days on my trip to Greece and Italy. Rooms were nice and in good shape, no issues although the sink faucet did not have hot water. Other than that it was a good hotel.
We came into Greece for the first time to go on a yacht cruise so we found this place to stay. Alexandra at the Front desk was amazing! We received excellent customer service, care and support! She answered all our questions gave us information, went out of her way to make sure we would have the best treatment and also the best time on our cruise! I will be returning back to this hotel thank you so...

The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are relatively old. The old man at the front desk is very enthusiastic and very happy to share local travel suggestions. You can chat more to get relevant information. The elevator is old and not very comfortable.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the museum and the temple, but the hotel was built a little too long ago
It is very close to the Acropolis Museum, Acropolis and other attractions, and is also close to the subway. The hotel is quiet and clean, with rich breakfast. There are fruit shops and small shops nearby. The front desk reception service is good and overall satisfactory.
Great location, literally a step away from Acropolis. The MVP is the AM shift manager, was nice enough to give me the room as soon as possible which was a lifesaver after a 12hr red eye flight. The breakfast was good too. The only thing is the rooms are quite dated.

Booked directly for our honeymoon and received an excellent rate. We paid to upgrade to a glorious suite. The welcome was wonderful and we were greeted by amazing honeymoon surprise in our room. Good breakfast the following morning. Some feedback would be that the round shaped bed is an odd choice and not very comfortable and that some elements of the room are dated and a bit worn.
Great hotel for the price. Very clean, comfortable, great staff, fantastic breakfast. Beds very comfortable but less pleased with pillows - full of air like sleeping on a balloon. Need shower mat as standing in the bath is very slippery - had to use bath shower mat to stand on in bath.
Great location and easy walk to acropolis. Room was clean and interesting. Breakfast was fantastic
Loved this place, having stayed twice in two weeks for a couple of work trips. Spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. What really sets it apart from other Athens hotels though is the sense of calm, somehow it never seems too busy or chaotic, even at peak times such as when loads of guests are at breakfast
Lovely staff, nice breakfast, conveniently located to explore downtown Athens, great option!
We had a great time staying at the Grecotel. The location is very good, the breakfast was amazing, the room was good and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight on the day of check-out and the staff kept breakfast boxes ready for us to take. Highly recommend.

Really nice! I stayed there for a week and I'm overall satisfied. The staff was very friendly! The rooms were pretty tidy, the service came for cleaning frequent. The only flaw was the small bathroom with an open shower and most importantly - without a lock (which was pretty hard to deal with when living with four other people). Good there were a microwave, Nespresso machine and a kettle in my room...

One of the best Hotels, very moderm and quiet. Strange with seperated shower and Toilet, still I can recomend it.
I recently stayed at Hotel McQueen in Athens, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. A very satisfying stay, excellent location!
It's just a few minutes' walk from Constitution Square, and the airport shuttle bus stops right there. I always walk to and from the airport with my luggage, which is very convenient. The surrounding area is also convenient for sightseeing and shopping.
Clean rooms, great front staff who help any way they can. There’s a filling breakfast and it has a great location. Cery centrally located
This hotel is located in a great spot! Lots of restaurants very nearby. We had about a 7 minute walk to the National Garden. Approximately 20 min to the Acropolis. We enjoyed our stay with Absolute Athens very much; first, for one night in the Athens II, second, a few more nights in Athens I. Both in an excellent location, walkable to restaurants, cafes and metro. Both apartments were well appointed. Special thanks to Aristea for her very helpful and kind assistance during our stay.
Perfect getaway base for family of three to explore Athens. Really easy check in / out, owners had thought of everything as well as a few extras to make for a really comfortable stay. Very responsive to all queries.
Friendly owner. Screens are installed. The property is close to the subway station and bus stop, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A cockroach came out of my room, so I had to move to a different room. It seems like the cleanliness and quarantine weren't very good.
Great appartment! Everything about our stay was great. Nice bed, bathroom and livingroom and fully equiped kitchen! The appartment is in the middle of a very living street with nice bars and restaurants and has a big balcony with chairs and table. At night we didnt experience any noise from outside, which made it even better. We even forgot something in the appartment that was later send to us in Holland...

Our room had a bad smell of sewage and was dark during day time since the room face an inner stairwell. The hotel was going through construction. The breakfast is very tasty but not buffet, by cart and after three days you want something else that’s not on the menu. The staff is very nice and professional. Overall a 3 in my opinion.
Fresh towels every day are so classy! The windows in our rooms were to a stairwell, not to outside, which was a little unusual. We kept the curtain pulled the whole time, so it did feel a little like a windowless dorm room. But the hotel is very nice, quiet, functional, and a great location walking distance to most attractions.
Enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Gem Society Hotel. Wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble (eg requested kettle and tea in the room) squeaky clean room and bathroom, funky functional design and delicious breakfast. Super comfy beds, great toiletries, absolutely quiet at night. One evening ate in Muse, the hotel’s bistro which was outstanding. This is a classy hotel in a fascinating neighborhood, all...
Excellent staff, very helpful with every aspect of the trip. Breakfast was amazing! Even if you don’t get a deal with breakfast included, it was fantastic. Room was clean and excellent water pressure and showering products. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be conditioner in the shower for hair! Temperature control in the room is good, and we didn’t hear any noise from near by rooms...
Overall the hotel itself is great. The problem is that they have a club next door, and the noise is intense. Every weekend night until 3:30am you hear the music and the bass is booming. The hotel itself is good. The staff is great, but the club next door is a giant problem.
The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful and the cafe had really tasty food. The location is right next to the Acropolis and all other major tourist attractions, which is really convenient. This hotel is in a great location across from a beautiful beach - and although I never stayed … I had the experience of using their small bar and restaurant… and when I couldn’t pay for my bottle of water (as their machine was not working) … they gave it to me complimentary ! The hotel is inconveniently located relative to the old city center. You can hear the traffic loudly in the rooms, even with all the windows closed. We booked for two nights and were forced to check out after the first night due to the noise. We asked the hotel for a refund for the second night, but they refused. I don't recommend booking for multiple nights.
The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from Syntagma Square, where the airport bus departs, and about a 10-minute walk from the east exit of the Acropolis. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so it's convenient. The rooms are clean, but the location faces the road, so soundproofing is a little lacking. The breakfast selection is not very extensive, but it's very delicious.
The room was very clean, but it was a little noisy near the road, so earplugs were needed. The access control was password-protected. Fast, communicative service, very clean, top location. One minor inconvenience was the lack of the shower head holder and no kettle in the room to boil water for a coffee/ tea. Highly recommended, definitely will stay here again on my next trip to Athens!

Our 4-day stay at Life Gallery Athens truly felt like living in luxury. The atmosphere was elevated even further by Mallios at the bar, whose friendliness and passion for his work really stood out. A wonderful experience that we would happily recommend.
This exceptional property is situated in one the most expensive and calm surroundings of Athens. So if you can afford to miss a walking visit to Acropolis (and a mess and dirt of a city center) - I highly recommend you to stay in Life Gallery Athens. Good place to stay pré-cruise and even post-cruise. Located a 15 minute walk from the Diminko Theater Metro station (Line 3 direct from airport - 9€) and 15 minute walk to the port of Piraeus. It’s basic, but clean and pleasant staff. I would recommend it!
Very nice. Arrived following cruise at 10am (check in wasn’t until 2/3pm) and they had our room ready and waiting. They were kind, provided water bottle and taxi for airport following morning.
The room is clean, air conditioning nice and cold. Breakfast is great for the price. Stayed the night before a cruise, very good location close to the port.
