Staff were very friendly and supportive, there's no halal food but on request they can provide halal chicken only. Great hotel, excellent staff. Small and friendly. Looking a little old now. But remember the Greek hotel star system is different to ours. What you think is a 4 or 5 star, is not the same as the UK. Overall it is quite nice I enjoyed it. I like the food even though I think snacks should switch up a bit, the pool is nice. Rooms are cleaned everyday. However I think it lacks entertainment and was quite boring sometimes at the night.

The hotel staff was very friendly! They were super helpful with holding our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the city more before our flight. The rooms were a bit noisy but it fit in with the downtown, city vibe. Very nice spot!

The service at this place is the defining feature (in addition to the location). The first day we came in early and they gave us a room pretty quickly which was very nice. We loved the old-fashioned room decor and the convenience of near all tourist attractions. The Fresco room was spacious, and the hot tub at the balcony (bring bathing suit) was a plus after hours of long walks.

Don’t trust! They had a room with a queen and a single but for some reason they wouldn’t let three of us stay in it. Three women that were going on a cruise the next day and only rented it for one night. We had to get a whole new room for the third person and that was just wrong!

It’s a bit out of the way of restaurants and shops, but it’s just a short walk along the promenade to get to them. Rooms could do with a bit more maintenance, but they were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are old, especially bathroom. Hotel interior is also old, but it works. Breakfast is good. Biggest advantage is pool and chill zone and it's location just next to the beach. As most of the Hotels in Athens the one close to the see offer less for the price. I found the personal friendly and the hotel was in a nice position in front of the see. Nice pool, great staff. Very nice view from rooftop room. Be mindful that the area in general has severe construction going on, to one site of the hotel. It isn't noisy though and doesn't affect the beach onwards.

The hotel has a great location, a 7-minute walk to the nearest beach. Sun loungers are available for a fee, or you can use a free spot. The room was cozy, with windows overlooking a small garden, and it was very quiet. The breakfast isn't very varied, but there are plenty of delicious places for lunch and dinner in the area. First off - the staff both day and evening front desk were amazing. Kind. Friendly. Polite. And extremely helpful. Rooms were average, but we had 4 beds and they brought a cot in for the toddler making sleeping for 5 a huge bonus. Great hotel it’s rated 4* Greek, would probably say it’s more a 3* in the UK. It’s a great hotel before and after yachting out of Alimos. Rooms are clean and basic with a few config options. I stayed at this hotel for a few days on my trip to Greece and Italy. Rooms were nice and in good shape, no issues although the sink faucet did not have hot water. Other than that it was a good hotel.

Very convenient location, easy walking distance to all of Athens main sites. On a quiet side street (many in Athens complain about noise in rooms), good soundproofing of room. Very basic room (only thing missing was more electrical outlets for charging of devices), with comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic!

The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are relatively old. The old man at the front desk is very enthusiastic and very happy to share local travel suggestions. You can chat more to get relevant information. The elevator is old and not very comfortable.

It is very close to the Acropolis Museum, Acropolis and other attractions, and is also close to the subway. The hotel is quiet and clean, with rich breakfast. There are fruit shops and small shops nearby. The front desk reception service is good and overall satisfactory.

Great location, literally a step away from Acropolis. The MVP is the AM shift manager, was nice enough to give me the room as soon as possible which was a lifesaver after a 12hr red eye flight. The breakfast was good too. The only thing is the rooms are quite dated.

Booked directly for our honeymoon and received an excellent rate. We paid to upgrade to a glorious suite. The welcome was wonderful and we were greeted by amazing honeymoon surprise in our room. Good breakfast the following morning. Some feedback would be that the round shaped bed is an odd choice and not very comfortable and that some elements of the room are dated and a bit worn.

Loved this place, having stayed twice in two weeks for a couple of work trips. Spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. What really sets it apart from other Athens hotels though is the sense of calm, somehow it never seems too busy or chaotic, even at peak times such as when loads of guests are at breakfast

We had a great time staying at the Grecotel. The location is very good, the breakfast was amazing, the room was good and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really nice! I stayed there for a week and I'm overall satisfied. The staff was very friendly! The rooms were pretty tidy, the service came for cleaning frequent. The only flaw was the small bathroom with an open shower and most importantly - without a lock (which was pretty hard to deal with when living with four other people). It's just a few minutes' walk from Constitution Square, and the airport shuttle bus stops right there. I always walk to and from the airport with my luggage, which is very convenient. The surrounding area is also convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

Very convenient location which is near the X95 bus stop Constitution (see photo below) which can go to airport. Amenities are very out dated. No proper lift (can only fit one person). Our room had a bad smell of sewage and was dark during day time since the room face an inner stairwell. The hotel was going through construction. The breakfast is very tasty but not buffet, by cart and after three days you want something else that’s not on the menu. The staff is very nice and professional. Overall a 3 in my opinion.

Fresh towels every day are so classy! The windows in our rooms were to a stairwell, not to outside, which was a little unusual. We kept the curtain pulled the whole time, so it did feel a little like a windowless dorm room. The hotel is inconveniently located relative to the old city center. You can hear the traffic loudly in the rooms, even with all the windows closed. We booked for two nights and were forced to check out after the first night due to the noise. We asked the hotel for a refund for the second night, but they refused. I don't recommend booking for multiple nights.

The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from Syntagma Square, where the airport bus departs, and about a 10-minute walk from the east exit of the Acropolis. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so it's convenient. The rooms are clean, but the location faces the road, so soundproofing is a little lacking. Our 4-day stay at Life Gallery Athens truly felt like living in luxury. The food was fantastic—special mention to the African chef who prepared the most amazing dish of black “forbidden” rice with salmon. The atmosphere was elevated even further by Mallios at the bar, whose friendliness and passion for his work really stood out. A wonderful experience that we would happily recommend.
