Stayed once again in the Anaxing Amalia hotel Central to everything

The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to Syntagma Square with a metro station nearby, and there are tons of restaurants in the area, making both transportation and dining incredibly convenient. The breakfast buffet was also great, very tasty! The hotel service was good too! Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The location is great, right opposite Syntagma Square. The hotel is comparable to a 3-star in China, but the facilities are a bit old. Honestly, the breakfast was just average. I had initially thought it was close to the National Garden, but the National Garden turned out to be really dirty.

This hotel in Athens offers incredible value for money, especially compared to other European hotels where prices tend to be higher. It's conveniently located right next to a bus stop. Apparently we didn’t have the breakfast included in our stay. The cost was $15 euros each for breakfast if we paid at the hotel. We opted to go across the street to a nice bakery and have a coffee and fresh baked good for around $4-5 euros each. We no big breakfast people fit was good for us.

This hotel was lovely with a nice view of the harbour & upwards to the Acropolis, however the road noise at night is quite loud & continues into the early morning. The staff was friendly & very accomodating. The rooftop terrace was lovely & the food was very good.

The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby, right next to the Plaka pedestrian street. The breakfast was also quite substantial. I heard there's a bar on the top floor with Acropolis views, but we didn't go up. Overall, it's good and offers great value for money!

The location is great; however, we were a bit disappointed as the hotel looks much nicer in the photos than in reality. Although it claims to be a boutique hotel, it feels more like a standard hotel. It’s our second time at this hotel and we had a great experience at Azur. The staff were amazing , rooms were cleaned everyday and the breakfast was excellent.

Great location. Easy walk to all the major sites in Athens. Beautiful room and bath. Patio was nice for fresh air. Thick glass windows and door kept the city noise out. No views of the city - but why come to Athens just to sit in your room?

Small hotel with a good location in the city to go by foot. Breakfast is fine. Don't expect a hotel lobby or window views - it's in a narrow building complex not a Vegas Hotel. All in all nice people and normal hygiene in the rooms.

The hotel's location and facilities are very good, close to the subway and the street, but the outdoor bathtub is very dirty. My wife tried to clean it but still didn't dare to use it. It was a waste of money to upgrade.

It reminded me of a Motel 6. It was a bed and a bathroom with a broken chair at the desk. You cannot take a shower without getting the whole bathroom wet and the toilet is up against the side wall.

We got to the hotel early and the front desk accommodated my husband and I by allowing us to check in early so we can rest. The hotel is near the cruise terminals which was also convenient. Overall, we had a great stay before our cruise.

The scenery is superb, and the location is very convenient, just steps from the pier. Supermarkets and restaurants are downstairs, and public transportation is very convenient. The rooftop terrace and the hotel's private beach make for a perfect vacation.

One night before getting our rental boat for a week in the Greek archipelago, we stayed at hotel tropical. Clean and well organised hotel. We’re happy to stay there close to the beach and to restaurants with nice menues.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. The location is a bit out of the way, but the view is nice. I was surprised by the small ooms. Though a renovated old building, the hotel's interior is superb, with every corner thoughtfully designed. The small balcony is a lovely spot for friends to relax and chat. The hotel is well located for catching the bus and being in the center of Athens in 10 minutes. The breakfast was average, nothing particularly noteworthy, there were things that could be improved. As for the room, it was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom had an unbearable smell.

This is a nice hotel with a lot of character. The Veranda bar overlooks the ocean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a beach across the street and a grocery store next door. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs.
