Best Hotels in Greece

Rumour has it that they want to move the kids' area to the edge of the resort, which we think is a good idea. we recommend taking a taxi instead of renting a car for daytrips within 1hr distance

It's a bit of a shame that the all-you-can-eat nature of the restaurant means that the cuisine is somewhat underappreciated. Because a lot of it is really well made and above average! Everything is clean

Fortunately, the mini disco is a bit away from the main restaurant and, although we are here with a small child, we really appreciated having a room far away from the hustle and bustle of the kids' pool and mini disco

Great resort in a quiet area with a private beach with free sun loungers, beach bar and swimming pool Rooms were nice and spacious, housekeeping stuff was friendly and always wanted to help with anything

We have been here for about a week now and can only report positive things. The staff is fantastic!!! and the food is excellent

Incredible various and always topped up buffet with loads of options. Fully recommend it as an overall for a great family holiday, we went in October half term and everything was on point!

What really makes a difference is the excellent service provided by the staff, especially the reception team

This was a really lovely hotel, there was a lot of variety in the food with restaurants in the hotel open until late at night. The food was really really nice. There were really nice pools and a lot of activities to do

The kids loved the pools, the slide, and the entertainment, while we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic food choices. There is something delicious for everyone, and the variety is truly impressive

What really made our holiday special was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They treated our children with so much kindness, which meant a lot to us

Flor, Domi, and Rania were amazing throughout our stay – they always greeted us with a big smile, were attentive to every request, and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was worry-free

Rooms are a perfect size, bathroom has everything you needed as it has good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash and lotion all included and the shower is excellent

The location is brilliant, next to the coastline and such warm weather. The staff are absolutely amazing throughout the whole resort, and the spa is excellent, so soothing and calming, do recommend it here

to be fair we found the buffet very good with a wide variety of choice (we only had one afternoon where we weren’t 100% satisfied) We stayed All inclusive option mainly because we took our little boy

Pools and pool bars and all pool staff👌🏻👌🏻 What they don’t tell you when you’re booking the holiday is if you’re not staying for more than seven days you can’t book any of the other restaurants so its buffet only

Proper coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge (extra to get anything in it though and a little over priced. Beds are very comfy and a choice of pillows

The lifeguard was very friendly and there were inflatables and balls for the children to play with. The evening meals were good but unfortunately one aspect let it down

First Impressions & Location The hotel is in a good spot — right by the coast and just off the main high street, so shops, restaurants, and bus stops are all within easy walking distance

Honest Review: Blue Horizon Hotel, Ialysos, Rhodes (October 2025) My husband and I have just returned from a two-week stay at the Blue Horizon Hotel in Ialysos (mid-October 2025)

It’s officially rated four stars, and we chose the all-inclusive option this time for a completely hassle-free break — we usually go half-board or self-catering

Staff & Service Reception staff could be a little frosty at times, but to be fair, they were helpful whenever we needed something. Everyone else around the hotel was lovely — cheerful, chatty, and always ready to help

there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby so you can save a lot of money this way and avoid being treated badly by the two wait staff mentioned who seemed to treat guests differently depending on what board they booked

As good to stay in as it looks, it's a beautiful hotel. We went all inclusive, so really enjoyed all the restaurants, food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful

The hotel is lovely with excellent staff. Breakfast was really good with so much choice. Great Margaritas at the pool bar and the main bar. Good food in the restaurants

My Delux King room with Balcony faced the pool and sea and was excellent

g an allergy card to put on the table so you don’t end up having to constantly re explain. In the end, we ate out in Rhodes as restaurants provided a much less complex experience

I am dairy intolerant and whilst the buffet was clearly labelled, the labelling used 2 different systems and it was time consuming and stressful to find options I could eat

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at Miraggio Thermal Spa! The rooms are absolutely huge, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and the pool is massive and so much fun

This is one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at — simply wow! The service was exceptional, the facilities top-notch, and the prices fair and reasonable

We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and the hotel kindly prepared a fresh soup for her every day, based on the ingredients we requested, free of charge. The facilities are outstanding and impeccably maintained

Exceklent beach, warmed up thermal pools and useful surroundings. The spa and the open areas were well organised and staff was very helpful.

What really stood out was the outstanding service throughout the entire hotel – everyone is warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. The spa itself is top-class and offers a truly luxurious experience

The highlight of our visit was celebrating our son’s 4th birthday, and thanks to the amazing hospitality, it became a memory we will cherish forever

The food is very good and better than a lot of 5 star resorts we have visited. The A’la carte Greek and Asian restaurants are amazing with the food and service excellent

The staff always go above and beyond and always make our holidays the best. We wouldn’t be going back this many times if we didn’t have a fabulous holiday

We’ve just come back from the Atlantica Ocean Beach and had the best holiday. My 2 boys (7&9) loved the kids club and the staff were fantastic

Our favourite was the white party disco. Although the location is remote and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area the hotel is big enough without feeling trapped. We would definitely visit again

The team at the Greek restaurant helped surprise my husband with a birthday cake on our first night too. My sons loved the water slides and pool and the evening entertainment was fun

We had a room with an ocean view, and the beach was also very clean, beautiful, and not too crowded — we really hope it stays that way because we plan to come again

The private beach is a plus as well. I like the many options to hang out in the areal. The stuff is friendly, good service, helpful

Some stains could be easily cleaned with right products and some effort. The food is good, I always find something, however, sometimes it did not look so nice. All in all I had a very good and comfortable stay!

The food is good but I guess it depends on preferences, good thing that the lunch and dinner is everyday different

Super friendly front desk staff! Also hotel has super spacious area and nice beach

We loved our stay at the Arina Beach resort. After 3 weeks travelling around Europe, it was amazing to relax at an all inclusive resort. The staff were great and the food and drinks was better than we expected

He is amazing along with Alex on the bakery (lovely man), Aspa, Kathryn, and all the waitresses and waiters that can’t do enough for you. The Avra, restaurant has improved and is incredibly good

We booked a penthouse room as we had before, the rooms are well set out, with robes, slippers, iron facilities coffee machine, and a lovely welcome package of treats wine and a stocked fridge

Water still warm enough to swim in late October/early November - the food was a real highlight, particularly the buffet restaurant. Lots of variety and changed each day

Another welcome at the check in, which went very smoothly, and were well informed of the resort, and some changes that had been made. Then our luggage taken to our room

The bars are set out well Albi is great , along with all the others that work the main bars and pool bars, and of course I have to mention Marina she’s so lovely

The dinning room is very large and spacious with an excellent choice of hot and cold food selections appealing to any taste with excellent selections of desserts and fruit as well as a coffee bar and self operated coffee machines if you chose

I recommend using The Spa. I had a deep tissue massage. Jessie was very good and very professional.

All in all we enjoyed every Minute. We think it‘s a good idea to change to adult friendly next Season. Wish all the best for all of you

The massage here was really good. I was treated by Albora, she was very friendly and polite, and the massage was perfect. The products smell amazing. Highly recommended!!!

I visited the spa with my daughter for the Cretan masssage. We both thouroughly loved this and would recommend. Albora is very good.

Lovely hotel with really great staff ! Clean, well laid out and good All Inclusive dining options Food quality was excellent Would recommend a car to try out beaches or visit Rhodes Town or Lindos

All inclusive drinks were ok but its what youd expect. Food was amazing and so much choice. A la cart restaurants we used were the greek which we felt rushed. Everything came at once before we had finished a coures

There is nothing in the immediate surrounding area apart from a few mini markets and resembles wasteland but that is no fault of the hotel itself, just something to be mindfull of if visiting

First off, there was NOTHING I didnt lime about this hotel, it was all lovely from the grounds, pool. to the room and the dining areas and pools. The staff were fantastic and very friendly

We just had our second family holiday at Marine Palace and were once again very happy with everything. The location, the food and service is great!

Lovely hotel for a family holiday. Between the pools, water park and beach our water babies were in heaven; with the inclusively priced cocktails we were too! Delicious and great range of food in the buffet

Do book on arrival if want full choice of alternative dining options. Appreciated being able to get snacks for the kids during the day

The only slight negative we found was the lack of lactose-free yoghurt, which was surprising given the multitude of options otherwise

We have had a great time at this hotel. Plenty of great dining options, multiple swimming pools, sea access was great

Had a great holiday first time visiting this hotel and area of Greece hotel and service great. But the service received from Eriini was just great a credit to the hotel hope to see her again next year

I've been several times to Sani, I like to visit when it first opens around Easter time as it tends to be quieter, but many family activities such as archery and high ropes are still available

If you are in Greece come here. Something I loved about Sani is the staff they are some of the nicest people on earth. I wanted to give a special shout out to Kennedy. He is so nice and he made our time here incredible

This is our 5th holiday here - 10 days of indulgence. The hotel Sani Beach is always welcoming, the staff go beyond your expectations from the moment you arrive to the sad time when you are leaving

The staff throughout the resort was amazing, each person outstanding and working hard to make everyone's holiday enjoyable and memorable. We travelled as a couple but there is so much to do for families too

Just arrived back after a weeks holiday. Hotel was very clean, the food was also good especially the Italian restaurant. beach is next to hotel and all the pools are well maintained

And the doors shut quietly! Well worth paying a bit extra for. Our daughter & granddaughter loved the hotel's amenities, pools, entertainment etc. As a Food & Travel Writer, I've stayed in many places

But the buffet restaurant is the best I've eaten in anywhere in the world! The chefs are marvellous, the food was varied, & topped up regularly, & amazing, the bain maries keep the food hot! Our daughter & granddaughter are vegans & they had a huge choice of dishes

But they moved us to a villa over the other side of the complex and, oh, the difference! We had a private pool & the main pool there has its own bar, with a restaurant opening soon

The Remarcsunseafun Team were amazing and their activities and entertainment were second to none. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back 🙏😊

There is 3 pools which were kept nice. Entertainment at night was good, live music, games and a dance act on greek night. Beach is super close, the bar at the beach not included in all inclusive but drinks are cheap

The crazy golf looked tired and poorly maintained but offered an alternative activity. There are beach parties every Wednesday - good music & atmosphere

Unsure what the negative reviews are about. It was super relaxing staying at this hotel. Staff were lovely, food was really nice. All inclusive drinks is spirits, wine and beer, cocktails not included

Only downfall is if you have kids or have fussy eaters the food is very out there so you may struggle. You can get beach towels at reception for 10 euros and get the money back when towel returned

We always found a free seat in the dining terrace, and the staff did a great job cleaning and re-setting the tables. We hardly used the pools and did not use the animation programs at all

The food was absolutely great, part of the menu changed every day, and with that variety, it was not a problem to have something different on your plate every day

Loved the lay-out of low rise properties dotted around the place, food was really good. The adults only pool was a safe-haven away from aqua aerobics and noise

Unfortunately we were disappointed with our stay. We had a premium room with a private pool which was very good aside from the algae build up in the pool

The Coryfo restaurant was good but the food in the other ala carte restaurants was underwhelming. The snack bar food was inedible (chips even come out cold) and closely guarded by wasps (much like all the external bars)

The daytime children’s club was good and the staff attentive but the evening child’s entertainment was an outside disco in a drab corner of patio. The gym was tiny and a waste of time

The pool areas were good, and the slides great for the size of resort, but the sun beds around the slide pools are mostly on grass and the sandy soil stains everything

The main buffet restaurant was typically hectic and the food inconsistent - although the huge pork chops had in there one lunchtime were the best thing we ate

I absolutely will never fault the staff at mitsis royal mare. They are truly excellent, their level of care and attention is second to none. Attention to the cleanliness of the site is supreme apart from the cats

Not much in the buffet for children etc and most of the food luke warm When I chose an all inclusive food is a big part and really not the best

On the evening of my husband’s birthday we had a cake and a bottle of fizz delivered to our room which was such a thoughtful touch

The service throughout the hotel has been exceptional with everyone so eager to help and make our stay special

My personal opinion has been it's been difficult to entertain the children here for the last week at the end of October. The pools are absolutely freezing. In fact even though the sea is cold it's warmer than the pools

It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at the park. The Disney shows made us feel like we were part of the story — everything was colorful, fun, and full of joy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations

The amenities were top-notch — especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. One of the highlights of our trip was the Cuban show in the evening

The music, dancing, and energy were simply unforgettable! The performers were so talented, and the vibrant costumes and live band created such a lively, authentic Caribbean vibe

the quality of the food is not great, and even the themed restaurants are serving food which is not good! the Rinela has had a great face lift and the sea is delightful, whilst we were there it was so windy and the life guards were excellent at keeping a watch

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail

The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the view from the window was stunning

Wonderful staff who are so quick and efficient thanks to their mix of students studying Travel or Hotel Tourism type studies. Really was one of our best 5 star holidays and no regrets.

Main hotel bar has evening entertainment with acts on a few nights and piano music or Greek nights, plenty of options for top branded drinks and cocktails, bar staff always attentive, shout out to Cristof who looked after us all week

All Inclusive with Black card , gives access to all evening Al a Carte restaurants, Asian, The Grill and Le Etoile which can all be booked on hotel app easily, also Al a Carte lunch in Gondola Bar / restaurant

the best hotel I've ever been to!! service was excellent, the food was awesome (unlike lots of other hotels in Greece). the rooms ... it was so difficault to leave ... I will absolutely go back!

From check in to check out, there was nothing not to like about this hotel, 1st class service over all the areas of the resort

We enjoyed Lobster night (an extra cost ) and the food at the Asian Corner. The music in the evenings was good

Stayed in the Adults only area, accomodation was Junior suite, with pool access and pool bar area, where Carlosos looks after you very well
