The hotel's location is perfect. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable. The folks at the front desk were helpful and warm making you feel at home. Highly recommended!!!

The location was great for what we needed (near the port). It was quiet. The bedding had stains and felt unclean.

Great value, walkable to venetian fortress area, all the restaurants and lions square. Comfortable clean room and bathroom. No elevator so must carry luggage upstairs.

Smaller hotel in the city center. Clean, helpful & friendly staff. We had a quad room with balcony for our family of four, was perfect for 2 nights in Heraklion. Recommend adding their breakfast in in the morning!

The Rea is a one-star hotel, not the Burj al Arab; anyone booking this hotel should be aware of that. It's located down a side street but relatively centrally in Heraklion; the reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. This also saved the rating. The room is on the smaller side, but absolutely adequately sized. The same can't be said for the bathroom. I don't know who came up with the idea of installing a shower without a shower curtain or shower screen; unfortunately, I flooded the entire bathroom. At least it was clean, because cleanliness isn't the most outstanding feature of this hotel. But no matter, it was cheap and friendly—what more could you want.

Two minutes from the center of Heraklion city.. in a quite small alley. Perfect location, easy to access, near bus stations for reaching other destinations Clean, not noisy, with an extra small amount you get a wealthy breakfast well valued...

We stayed there one night as we were travelling to Santorini. The room had 4 beds, was clean, lots of hot water and close to the port. Great value

Not a fancy place, but for the price it was a good value. Beds were comfortable. Bedding and pillows were new.
