Service is terrible. There is a lady with long black hair that didn’t want to serve tourists but surprisingly she was using one of the tables as a customer, smoking and flirting! Very bad service... Also, hotel is too far from the beach, much nicer options closer to the beach wallboard

Georgioupolis is the most beautiful place to visit. Hotel Nicolas is a lovely family run hotel, extremely friendly and approachable staff. The hotel is so clean, the food is great, the views surrounding are stunning. Short walk to the beach. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Thank you Maria and all the staff for making our holiday so special. We would definitely recommend.

The hospitality is like nothing we’ve ever experienced, me and my friend are both travel agents/ well travel agents; we were beyond impressed. If you want a budget holiday with amazing views and great bars/restaurants you’ll find no where better. Georgioupolis the definition of hidden gem. Maria and Katarina are the cutest.

It was nice for a couple of night, very clean, Balcony a bit small for us, and no Ketlle , there was a small fridge though, but like a brew first thing so that would have been nice, would stay a few night but wouldn’t do a full holiday there, prefer self catering .

I don't like spending too much money for a place where I only sleep and take a shower so I booked something cheap. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice receptionist, she showed our room and explained everything. The room wasn't too big but it was not a big problem, it was clean and had a nice balcony. Just a small inconvenience was the lack of a kettle and extra payment for AC. Breakfast was included but there was not a mention that it's not a Swedish table, but Maria ( the owner) was great and she proved to me whatever I wanted for breakfast. The hotel is not too far from the nice sandy beach and shops are everywhere around the hotel. Summarizing this hotel is good for people who don't care about luxurious rooms but have a good and clean space to sleep and rest.

Location is perfect, close enough to everything but not on top of the noisy night life in the main square. Breakfast was interesting (!); it was a 4 day rotation of Greek yogurt/honey, cheese and ham toastie, fried eggs and bacon and a continental (boiled egg and sliced cheese/meat). The best part was the fresh orange juice every day! Hotel very popular with Germans so only saw one other English couple in our two week stay. The bedroom was basic but comfortable - air conditioning extra at €6 per night. 🙄 If you enjoy a wet room this is the place for you as there is no screen or shower curtain - gets very slippery so beware anyone who may be unsteady as no hand rails present. The maid was so lovely and cleaned room every day except her day off on Sunday. She always catered our timetable and would come back later if it wasn’t convenient. Georgopolis was a resort with everything and close enough to the cities of Chania and Rethymnon for culture trips.

The room was basic but very clean and cleaned every day except Sundays. More importantly our host ,Maria and her staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was eaten on the terrace and was provided by the busy cafe across the road .More than enough for us! I last visited Crete and this area over 30 years ago and was concerned it may have changed for the worse. There's no denying that there have been a lot of changes but the atmosphere and the people are as good as my memory recalls. We will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend this place if you want a quiet holiday base close to the attractive centre and beach
