We've enjoyed a couple of weeks staying in this hotel with wonderful staff. There was no loud music from the bar in the evenings unlike other nearby hotels. Location is perfect - 4 beaches nearby, Lidl, bus station, nice park for morning jogging. Free gym is another big plus for fit people. Great beach hotel Very nice little hotel. Close to at least four different sandy beaches. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with options for vegetarians. I visited the hotel twice. In both visits, I enjoyed a wonderful week at this hotel and I highly recommend it. Built next to the sea and near the centre of Platanias, in an area with many restaurants, shops and interesting activities. The breakfast is nice, WiFi works properly. The room I was given was large, bright and always clean. Finally the people are polite and experienced.

We have been to Crete many times ever since I was a kid and this place is on our list of places to go everytime. The location is good and the breakfast is barely acceptable. There are two disadvantages. First, there is no sea view. Second, the front desk is a bit inconvenient at 8 am and 10 pm. If you go out every day or work, and just sleep in the room, it is actually a good choice.

The hotel is located in a lively neighborhood of Platanias with lots of dining options nearby. The room is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is onsite parking but it’s a bit tight to maneuver if you have a full size car. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Platanias Beach and Agia Marina is less than a mile away.

This was out first trip to Crete. And we are SO please with this hotel!! Nice clean rooms in a very authentic style. The owner, the receptionist and the cleaning lady made us feel right at home. They were so nice to us. Very helpful and and made us feel right at home. We will definetly return!!

Heartful service and all in all, a decent hotel to relax with the family. Central location in Platanias is a huge plus as well, while being still quiet. Roof terrace was a cool addition as well, and guests are welcome to stay and store luggage even after check out, which was indeed helpful to us.

The apartment was good enough, there was not much space in the bathroom.

Modest but clean place. Very friendly staff. Location is very centered. Pool is with icy water, not suitable for children due the temperature. Upstairs rooms have to use street pavement to get there, this is not cool. Wifi is quite poor.

There was a beautiful garden for us to sit in, and Konstantinos our host was very hospitable. The maid service was excellent and the property was a short walk from the main drag of Platanias, with several excellent restaurants nearby.

Stamakis studios, is one of the big reasons we travel to Platanias every year. Konstantinos and his wife are the best host in the world. This place is very quiet, clean, nice rooms, and has a very good bed, and a very nice garden. Located not far from the beach and from the center of Platanias. Lovely place. Well placed close to the beach. Road is very narrow. Bed was very comfy. Shower was small. Host is very nice. Fridge was loud but slept very well. Recommend.

Anna Katrina Apartments in Chania is just like home, Manolis and family made us feel definitely apart of the family, location was awesome only literally meters away from the beach 🙏🌴🌞 hospitality was amazing, definitely worth the visit and the value, very clean and welcoming, we spent five days, even though we live in Cyprus 🇨🇾 it’s a cozy relaxing place, definitely we would book Anna Katerina Apartment...

Family run. Great people!! Friendly and accommodating. Nothing fancy but excellent bang for the buck!

Camping Chania

For a Place !!! Camping Hania is a really a nice place to visit . In a middle of a tree plantation you will get a bungalow, a mobil home and even a tent . A restaurant (price ok ) ,a swimming pool and the sea at 250 m . What a wonderful place 😊

We had a fantastic time at camping Chania. Staff were great. Tents are clean and comfortable. Pool and bar area is good and great for lunch time snacks or a beer and ice cream. Beautiful beach, restaurants and shops near by within a 5min walk. Local bus will take you into Chania town too. We will definitely be back!!!

I recently wrote a review about Camping Hanja, I have to admit it was written a bit to Quickly,I was Tired and the review DOSENT represent a full picture of my experience, Camping Hanja did it's best to Accommodate Me, Things happen and we have to be Big enough to understand it, Thanks David Parry

The days at the camping were perfect, we were in a bungalow without bathroom, so we used the shared toilets. They were a bit old, but always clean. I was here in 2023 and 2024 for a couple of days out of my trips with my kids! This is great value for money with the possibility of getting Bungalows etc. Which i would recommend. The camping area has pool, snack bar, mini market, restaurant etc. There is something for everybody.
