There were lots of ants about on the steps near the rooms and occasionally on the patio. The pools were cold at first but once you got in and over the initial shock you adjusted. Shower in the room was powerful

Hairdryer was awful,couldn't control the temperature and it kept cutting out. Took me 5 attempts to dry my hair every night. Rooms could do with an update of furniture but this did not hinder our stay at all

Unfortunately, hotel guests "reserve" the sunbeds in the morning, so it often happened that although there was no one in the pools and around them, we still couldn't find a free sunbed

The sea-view rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette. Their terraces open onto the hotel's beach or a small fishing port. There are also rooms overlooking the pools or the main road or in quieter corners of the hotel

We were worried as we booked there for the water park but on jet 2 looking into it they were keeping the park open with the rest of the resort shutting

We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season

Fine print though states both resorts have to pay extra for the water park at €15 per person

The staff is polite, helpful, and friendly. The service includes breakfast and all-inclusive. The breakfast buffet offers a range of dishes in line with general European trends, supplemented by a few Greek specialties

Everything you need is within walking distance: the Atlas supermarket, bus stop, and other conveniences are just across the street. The host was absolutely fantastic—kind, welcoming, and always ready to help

I was pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices, especially given the prime location and the quality of service. It’s one of those rare places that balances charm and convenience perfectly

Peaceful location on a beautiful sandy beach, just off the busy main road. Agia Marina is a few miles west of Hania with frequent buses

Great stay at the Minoa Palace. The hotel facilities are great and never felt over crowded, although the hotel was fully booked. The swimming pools and the beach are perfect. Spa is really nice, a bit expensive

The Spa was beautiful- I enjoyed their amazing cool pool and jacuzzi all to myself. What let this place down was the very poor quality of food we ordered with room service

The spa pool & jacuzzi waters are kept so cold, it's impossible to get in. And they should upgrade their gym, which is not compatible to a 5-star hotel (extremely old/bad equipment)

Good overall, well managed but has some are Good overall. We stayed in an imperial room on the beach side of the hotel. Very good facilities overall, but some of the rooms need to be updated and soundproofed

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. They have for sure the nicest staff ever. So accommodating. Great food the breakfast buffet is so so good. Definitely will come back and recommend highly.

Beautiful hotel but poorly designed bathroom in our apartment. Pool was ice-cold (we went last week of the season though). Other than that, beautiful stay!

Overall a nice hotel. Breakfast is not included, which would be nice. Rooms are a little worn, but with nice facilities. Nice location next to the beach and a couple of stores and restaurants.

Our stay was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The private swimming pool was amazing and the whole place felt peaceful. Both the room and shared spaces were very clean

This hotel mostly is for vacation at the pool. This hotel have 2 pools and close by acces to the beach. If you book this hotel be ready to pay extra for AC 12 € per night. Pay extra for beach sunbed 8€ per bed

The hotel area is really welcoming, clean and modern. Rooms have enough space and you don’t have to wonder where to put all your stuff when traveling with a friend or family

And about the staff… I could talk about the staff forever! Everyone are so nice, warm and always trying to make your day even better

We were there at the end of the season and always found parking ok and loads of sun beds around the pool and on the beach. Beach is nice, shingle rather than sand. Entertainment in the evening very good

We've enjoyed a couple of weeks staying in this hotel with wonderful staff. There was no loud music from the bar in the evenings unlike other nearby hotels

But I think the sport massage in finland suits me better than their herbal relaxing massage. Plus point that there's a fulfilling breakfast. Everything in Crete tastes way better

Location is perfect - 4 beaches nearby, Lidl, bus station, nice park for morning jogging. Free gym is another big plus for fit people

This hotel is all about location 3 lovely beaches within a very short walk €12 taxi from chania Went to 10 local restaurants never had a bad meal all excellent There's a land train stop 200 metres away so if you need to go watermark or lake kourios it's very easy

Hotel has a pool, we didn’t go in it as weather too cold but it looked nice. An excellent Greek restaurant around the corner (recommended by the hotel) and supermarkets close by

Swimming pool maintained very well and is scrupulously clean. The main thing is the staff! The staff are so friendly, wonderful and helpful

The location was excellent, near a couple of mini supermarkets and a ten minute ( I strolled slowly) walk to a clean sandy beach I don’t normally visit a place more than once but I would return here

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Chania. Just a few kms / short drive to the main area of Chania. TV, small balcony, air con and small kitchen

The experience I had at Zinovia was top-tier! We stayed here for about 2 weeks in June and it was one of our favorite places we visited in Greece after traveling around the country for about a month

The apartments is located near the best child-friendly beach around Chania and it is only a 5-min walk to it. The beach has shallow waters, only small waves, shade from the sun because of the trees near it

We had a lovely time at Blue Dome Hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by the nicest staff member who showed us all the way to the room and provided the best service ever

Only negatives is the fact that there are very limited sunbeds and one morning at breakfast we were completely forgotten about and didn’t receive service until 30 minutes after we had been seated

At the pool area is also a small pool for children (40 cm). The hotel is on the beach but close to main street with shops and restaurants, also there are free parking slots

It was updated, clean, with good working AC(not that easy to find in Europe). The pool is clean and well kept. My complaint about it is the depth. Its quite deep to stand and lounge if you are shorter than 5

We didn't stay here but hired some sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach (€8 per set). The loungers were comfy and the umbrella provided good shade. The waiter was friendly, helpful and efficient

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water

We only visited the restaurant for a few lunches. Very tasty food and very big portions! We loved that they fish was fresh and not frozen and have plenty of choices

The hotel is on the beach and it is nice to enjoy food and refreshments in the beach restaurant and sunny moments by the pool. The breakfast was plentiful and everyone will surely find something to eat and drink

Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach

Staying there was nice. The hotel is near bus stations and close to department stores. It’s not too far away from Chania (5 to 10 min in bus and taxi)

Chania city center and old center is about 15 min by car, but also shops and restaurants in the surroundings, not necessarily to go in the center

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful area! We arrived late night and were greeted by a bottle of water & plate of food in our room which we were incredibly greatful for! The room a support studio was perfect for the 2 of us with everything we needed

Great stay! We had a very nice room and the food was varied and delicious. The swimming pools really completed the holiday vibe! The service was excellent whenever we had questions (for example, arranging taxis)

We had a great holiday at Althea Village this summer. It was our first holiday with our daughter which was 7 months old and the hotel felt perfect for us

Such a thoughtful gesture ✨ Overall We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back! The only small thing we’d suggest is adding some non-alcoholic beer or wine options as we don't drink alkohol and it's becoming more and more popular among young people :)

While on paper Sun City may only have 2 or 3 stars, it has the full 5 hearts, otherwise the number of repeat visitors would be a mystery! (Most of the people we see there are old friends who we see once or twice a year - at Sun City! There are sometimes some new faces but after a year or 2 most of them are hooked too

Everything in this hotel is excellent. Run by a wonderful family who are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Everything is spotless and well cared for. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Excellent

Unfortunately at the pool there was a group of young boys taking up the place by playing on air mattresses and ball and making disturbance for the other guests, owner Dina went to the pool and told them to leave! We appreciate that she took the ownership when the mothers of the young men didn’t :) Hope to come back

But not only the family,also the location is perfect,just 5 minutes walk from the beach,accross the road 2 great restaurants (Angelo and Oreganos), but you can also have great snacks at the hotel bar next to the swimming pool

The apartments are spacious, modern, clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning good. The pool area has enough sunbeds for all the guests and the two pools are good for swimmers of all ages

We felt so welcome! Breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from, fresh vegetables and fruits to. Beds were comfy, everything was clean and sun lounge area so cosy with the plants and grass

There are also a couple of indoor areas for everyone to spend time in with a small library, some board games and a pool table. The slightly dated gym was also a great bonus
