My favourite part about this place isn’t far the creperie where they make the crepes right in front of you next to the beach! Walk down and you can sit eating ice cream and food while watching the waves

A good hotel, we took the all-inclusive option. We didn't have to worry about anything, the food was varied and everything was quite tasty and filling. Private beach with a cool bar and ice cream

- At sunset, you'll be mercilessly eaten alive by mosquitoes and gnats, so bring spray with you, otherwise you simply won't survive. - There is a good seafood restaurant

The sand isn't cleaned of debris, but there wasn't any noticeable dirt. When we checked in, we were given the wrong room, which we had booked, “Botanica with a private balcony

The next day, they kindly offered us three room options (I am attaching a photo of the one we chose), and we were very happy with it

” The sheets were dirty, and we waited a very long time for the staff to replace the bedding. It was dirty, damp, and uncomfortable

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A 20-30min drive from Heraklion. Different pools to choose from and some water slides. Although the water was a bit on the colder side in October but we still swam

Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week

The facilities are excellent and very well maintained — from the kids’ club and playground with caring staff, to the beautiful pools (including a seawater pool with a sea view and fun kids’ pools with slides)

Wonderful weeks break, the hotel location is a short walk into Stalis and on the beach. Plenty of pools to relax for adults or spend quality time with kids if a family

We had a wonderful stay at Arminda with our 2YO daughter. The location is great with easy access to a beach which is excellent for swimming, and close to local towns for authentic dining & sightseeing

We came to the day spa, they have a private room with saunas, pool and a shower treatment. Rafaela was the most helpful and kind!

The hotel is in an ideal location. But I would never call this a 5 star hotel the toilet was dirty the swimming pool was small. For 5 stars i expected alot more

One of the authentic hotels in crete island. It was built in 1964 originally. Hotel staffs are friendly and professional. Only weak point is GYM 🏋️‍♀️ facilities. Relatively small and lack of machines

Smell from the gym is not good

However once we got to the hotel they told us that they have one but only a very very small one, basically they refused our car and told us to park it somewhere else

Furthermore on their website it said that they have parking

Honest decent hotel but definitely doesnt deserve 5 stars, would not go there again

We had a perfect week at this hotel the food is great and you have everything you need including a supermarket in the hotel (quite pricey I must say) but overall my stay was fantastic

Very luxurious feel, staff very respectful and welcoming. Service and hospitality made up for the poor weather we had. Room was immaculate upon arrival and throughout stay

Main Restaurant "Ambrosia" - that's where you have your breakfast and dinner. All buffet style, however on some days you can request a Shef-special, which cookes specifically for you by the shef

Dishes to choose from are displayed by the entrance to the Restaurant. In the morning, there is a self-service at the champagne bar. Breakfast - is a buffet style. Restaurant "Castello" offered AleCart Menu

Special compliment to the pastry shef - so much to choose from and every evening something new! Please note, there are few dinning options in the hotel

Right from our friendly welcome at 2. 30 in the morning to the room, the food and the facilities we couldn't find fault. Special mention to Emilia our waitress who made us feel very welcome in the restaurant

Our room overlooked the pool, a peaceful, elegant scene that looked like something out of a dream. We thought it might be noisy being so close to the water, but it was the opposite: pure silence

Best bits of beach in the area Fun 5 days. Great for families. We were ok with that, never seen so many push chairs in one place 😂 Greek Restaurant was good, we were not all inc.

We came to Mirabello for 10 days for our Honeymoon with our 2 year old son. From arrival up until the last day, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Good internet working throughout the hotel, even in the room, even on the beach. The child included cartoons from youtube and contact

Ioanna was incredible. Really targeted the muscles and eased the tensions.

A special shout out needs to be given to Matthew, the concierge, who went above and beyond in every respect taking immediate care of any request and ensuring all of our requests were taken care of

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

The rooms are fantastic, chock-full of free amenities and bonuses, even if the walls are a bit thin. The outdoor pool area is nothing short of stunning and we couldn't comprehend how expansive the gym/spa area was

It's in a very good location, clean, the breakfast has a great variety, and the staff are friendly. However, the free swimming pool is cold; it's impossible to use it in winter.

This is the second stay for our family at this hotel and once again it exceeded our expectations. On arrival, the porters assisted us with our luggage, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and made checkin simple

RThis hotel is truly exceptional. The spa is beyond compare, and the front desk staff consistently go above and beyond to guarantee a delightful stay

There is 3 pools which were kept nice. Entertainment at night was good, live music, games and a dance act on greek night. Beach is super close, the bar at the beach not included in all inclusive but drinks are cheap

We always found a free seat in the dining terrace, and the staff did a great job cleaning and re-setting the tables. We hardly used the pools and did not use the animation programs at all

The room (Family Superior 2 Bedrooms Side Sea View) was in one of the buildings very close to the beach and the terrace had a really beautiful view of the sea

We enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach with a gradual entry into the sea The beach bar is not part of the all-inclusive, but the prices were cool

A standard sunbed on the beach cost €8, a wooden sunbed with a mattress cost €10 and a gazebo cost €14, all for the whole day

Stayed here for a few days in July 2025. Big complex, great location right on the beach, numerous swimming pools, decent rooms

It is gorgeous and the pool was just what I needed after a long day of traveling

Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek

A beautiful hotel a little tiny bit off the beaten path, but close enough to walk everywhere. And the views were spectacular. Make sure you spend time on the roof deck

Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries

Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free

Location wise, not a great place but it is ok if you take Uber all the times. The souvenir shop at the hotel lobby was surprisingly not expensive

The most beautiful beach in the area is the one in front of the Hotel Meditereneo and right in front of the open-air museum on the beach. The center of Hersosissos is lively and has many local shops

Arrived home from here on Thurs 30/10/25. I travelled with my two daughters age 17 and 15. I was worried after seeing some reviews and that we were going late season

The hotel's outstanding quality is its staff. The reception is very professional. I'm thinking especially of Maria at reception, who was incredibly helpful and saved our stay by finding a suitable room for my mother

The hotel is well located, but it's a 1 km walk to the beach and 2 km to the town center. I recommend renting a car if you want more comfort and save time

People in Crete, in general, are grumpy. Im talking about local people not but stranger workers. I've rarely seen anything like it. On the other hand, the foreign workers are always polite and helpful

I'm also thinking of Evita, who is very polite, patient, kind, and always smiling. Mike Junior is very polite, friendly, and communicates well. In the restaurant, Eva and Maya were amazing

Beautiful pool area, beach bar and location on the beach were great. Staff were also very friendly and attentive

Pool - although beautiful on the photos, very dirty in reality so we didn’t even use it. The following staff made our stay memorable - Klevis, Despina, Martina, Panagiota!

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the Grecotel Dama Dama. Having the option of a huge chilled pool with the sea and beach right on your doorstep

Obviously we wouldnt have requested this time, so were disappointed when they told us that we had and couldnt accommodate us at any other time, meani g that another cold dinner at the buffet jad to be endured

Its definitely geared more towards families than say couples, and as a solo traveller it's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but there things to do all day and into the night Food is fantastic, you don't have to wait long for a drink, but if you're on the beach or by the pool, then you're getting you're own drinks sadly

Staff were lovely, clean and restaurant option's are great. Pool lounger allocation was difficult but everything else was great.

This is our second time at Kassandra Palace Hotel & Spa. It is truly amazing, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is stunning, and the grounds are immaculate

The hotel is amazing from the wonderful staff, to the beautiful mannicured gardens, the groundsmen do a fantastic job. The food at breakfast and dinner is plentiful, delicious and fresh

(Not too much of a problem for me, but just an observation that it's great to have an indoor pool located in the Spa Center, but there were loads of kids in it, and maybe I would have expected it to be more of a peaceful and a relaxing atmosphere as Spa's are supposed to be, but having said that, it's great for kids and their parents to go and chill too

The pool bar and beach bar - excellent! The onsite shops were good too, if you needed anything! I think it is a very family oriented place, and the staff are all so amazing, friendly, attentive, and they were very welcoming

The rooms are large with plenty of room - the rooms with a sea view is stunning and the grounds of the hotel from our sea room view was just so Perfect! The food at the main restaurant was fantastic, spacious, bright and the food was amazing - enough choice for all and plenty of it and so well displayed with perfection

Good overall, well managed but has some are Good overall. We stayed in an imperial room on the beach side of the hotel. Very good facilities overall, but some of the rooms need to be updated and soundproofed

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. They have for sure the nicest staff ever. So accommodating. Great food the breakfast buffet is so so good. Definitely will come back and recommend highly.

The one thing that was the biggest miss for us was inconsistency of service from hotel staff. Some are really great, friendly, and proactive, especially the cleaning staff

Great attitude, service, and helped to solve problems. The manager also called us at the end of the day to check if everything was all right

But others seemed to have an attitude and a scowl on their face when serving you

Initially, we had some issues with our private pool suite, but the staff at the resort worked hard, not just to resolve these issues, but the entire team went above and beyond to make sure that the rest of our stay was perfect

Beautiful resort with peaceful surroundings. The room far exceeded my expectations and the quick and easy access to the beach (steps away from my room) was great. Staff were attentive and kind.

We just returned from a week holiday and we had a wonderful time at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel had a very chill vibe, good entertainment but very child focused- but separate from bars so we just stayed at the bar and played uno it was lovely!! There was not many teenagers so hard for the kids to make friends- it’s not a friend making hotel

The buffet was also incredible, one of the best with really fresh and high quality food, though I truly prefer the restaurants. The beach was also gorgeous and they offered various water sports and the pool relaxing

We were situated on the ground floor right near the activity pool, which was perfect for us with teens

It's a 4 star at best and there's nothing luxury about it aside from the one pool and the sunsets

Rooms/decor feels dated, a little weathered but mostly well maintained. Getting a lounge chair in the one cool pool is like the Hunger Games - families occupy the space from 8am

A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. Location on main road not seafront so some road noise

The pool bar seemed to charge different prices when they changed staff for the evening shift. Mostly the staff were OK but one individual was quite rude to many of the guests in the dining room

The men's pool toilets should be closed off. Tiles broken and falling off the wall. As for the pool shower all I can say is Disgusting

It was hard to say goodbye yesterday. Always on the wall outside the main buffet restaurant and the bar outside with a bent ear. Have a great rest, roll on 2026!! Well done to all the staff, they all work incredibly hard

Amazing 5 star Resort for couples who wants a romantic getaway. We went there in early November and had a nice experience with the Spa and Wellness Team: Wendy, Christina and Tina

We enjoyed 90 minutes Cretean massage and facials. Highly recommend to spend some extra bucks to get nice and relaxing time

It was an amazing stay! 3 days of relaxation in a small quite hotel! The daily buffet was really tasty but the highlight of this hotel is the nice behaviour of the staff!

It has its own sun beds on the beach for its guest, and there is usually no problem to find a spot there

In a quiet village with a few tavernas, shops etc. Rooms are basic enough but clean. Buffet is sufficient, something to suit everyone. Snack Bar at the pool is also fine

Lots of steps to get to the private beach but it's so worth it! Amazing, but be sure to pack beach shoes

The beach ocean waters was one of the most beautiful waters to swim in with many beautiful fish swimming around your feet. The swimming pool in particular the relax pool is calm and relaxing and a good size pool
