Cosy hotel with small territory. Simple, bright rooms. Located a short distance from Kardamena village with its bars, discos and taverns. Recommend for a budget family holiday and independent travellers.

Location: 3 km from the village of Kardamena, 10 km from the airport, 35 km from the nearest resort centre of KOs. Bus stop opposite the hotel.

Consists of one main building and two separate buildings Annex located in the garden.

Just returned home from this lovely little place. The most stunning grounds and the sea so blue. Not much beach ,it's all sea. Very rocky into the sea, too. The pools are lovely and quiet and not a sunbed war in sight. Staff are so lovely and very accomadating. There is no entertainment only greek night on a Thursday. It's all about relaxation and chilling here.Breakfast was basic, but adequate. Didn't have dinner ate out every day. There is a bus just outside reception to take you into Kardamena, which is a must. No good for kids, they would be bored unless they are very little, and just happy with pools and the sea. I would absolutely return though.

If I could give more stars I would , I can not fault this hotel , it's like it's run by a family , so clean all staff are excellent, they try to learn your names , there all super friendly ,food is supper, different every day , good choice , the rooms cleaned everyday , towels fresh , would defo go back , in fact we started looking for next year , Hope it does not change Many thanks

If there was a higher score we’d rate it higher,the hotel was lovely,food great,rooms,great comfortable and clean. A nice quiet location but a bus stop at the entrance takes you to kardamena for €2. What makes this hotel extra special was the staff some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met,and an extra shout for Cosmos who made us feel so welcome.

Great service, food and location
If you like a quieter location, less crowed hotel with great service, this is the place to come.

My family stayed in a suite which holds 4 guests. The room was spacious, and although not full of features, it suited us perfectly.

We stayed half board and food quantity was not lots, like some hotels, but for sure made up for in quality. Excellent food both for breakfast and dinner.

Last but not least, staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay that much more special.

Overall a great stay and will for sure come back.

We stayed four nights at Kalimera Mare. The hotel was excellent, very clean and well maintained gardens and pool area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious; buffet style with plenty of choice. Beach was a 5 minute walk -.€3 euros for two sunbeds plus a soft drink. Great value. Buses available to Kardamena, approx 30 minutes away, where you can also pick up other buses to, say, Kos town. Very relaxing holiday, will definitely return. Credit to the staff for making our holiday such an enjoyable experience.

Lovely small and very friendly hotel. Have had a fabulous 10 nights here. Great if you want a nice chilled quiet holiday. Staff are fantastic and go above and beyond. Special thanks to Ida, Valeria, Panos and Cosmos . However every staff member we encountered were very friendly. Food was delicious, I was a bit dubious ordering your main course in the morning however is a great idea as it comes nice and fresh and piping hot , The room we had had not been updated however was very clean and had all you needed.

I had such a special and welcoming stay at Kalimera. Absolutely no complaints about my stay, the service was wonderful. From a slight booking hiccup to, getting me a taxi back home to the airport and everything inbetween. I was travelling solo but I was part of a wedding held in nearby Mitis hotel resort and it was so easy to get to, by bus, taxi or walking. Food, wonderful. Room & bed, so comfortable. All the staff, happy, friendly, professional & helpful. A special thank you to Cosmo and Valeria for making me feel so welcome. Thank you ever so much 😊

Very friendly staff, quiet environment, Good for relaxing, there's hotel beach for 3 Euro a day per person and one coffee. water is really clean and nice. Swimming pool is also nice.

Wonderful hotel in a great location ie quiet. The hotel was impressively clean and very well maintained in all areas, the rooms, grounds, pool, restaurants, terraces, car park - everywhere. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were brilliant and evening meals were tasty and varied. We hired a car which the hotel arranged for us to collect and drop off in the hotel car park. We had a fantastic time. Our room had a sea view, a fridge, kitchen sink, hairdryer and a good rang of toiletries. The ambiance of the hotel was friendly, safe, happy and incredibly welcoming. Kos was well worth the visit. Some days it was rather windy but a short trip to another part of the island solved that.
