Lakitira Suites in Kardamaina

Beautiful clean beach and very friendly staff. Stayed there for a week in Sept 19. The salads were amazing..being vegetarian not as much varied options in the evening, but again didnt starve with the salads which I love.
Must mention well done for getting many cats on the complex neutered that was a huge achievement for the hotel..they are looked after please keep up this and get more done..I would return to you just for that reason.
You can hire cycles from the carpark or a walk I to Kardema took us 40mins... Apartments were large and spacious, little dated but beds comfy and spacious. I like a coffee first thing when I wake which is always early, my coffee and sugar was never replenished so had to buy my own which is a small quibble but didnt know if this should have been replenished? Although a huge complex you could find quiet areas. Get reception to show you a map of the complex as there is a lovely bar called Ruby better ambiance across in the new 83 room complex which make great drinks..and play nicer music.(personal choice)
I did feel though that the Italians had a better deal than Tui travellers..always feel that Tui just want to flog the most expensive day trips. Looking at the Italian info there was even Greek common words translated like hello thank you, a little about the island and local cuisine..compared Tui info just trip info not local history and culture.
...the car hire attached to hotel excellent and very thorough in showing you the car and where to go. Kos town nice evening out, Zia definitely worth a visit especially at sunset...I like animals so visited Plaka with the cat sanctuary and peacocks...also Steflos worth a swim to the island.

Great hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. Pool is great for the kids. Rooms are clean and cool

I hate resorts! ...except for this one. Omg did we have fun here with all their little sailing boats on the beach. Lovely food, friendly staff, great beach. I tend to visit the rest of the world then going to the same place again.. but with this location I am not sure.

Food was awesome, but the drinks for the dinner was too expensive (drought Mythos 500ml beer - 4,5 eur). Seashore is near, like 2 minutes away. Beach was fine, and for the better - you can go 10 min to the west by the seashore. Kardamena is arround 40 mins by foot, local bus to Kardamena is 1,8 eur per person one way, which was too expensive comparing that you can take a car for 25eur/day in Kardamena.
