The noise from reception echoes all the way through the hotel.

Expensive pants that were worn on the same morning went missing. Aries was helpful and tried to help, lady in the front was rude and made it look like we're lying. We did not feel safe and we had to take our stuff in backpacks when we went out. Clean rooms, Aries was very kind and respectful.

The gentleman who ran the transport was phenomenal! He gave excellent advice and a small tour on the way from the airport to the hotel. The rest of the staff we met was also wonderful! Highly recommend anyone stay here!

Probably the best location in Santorini to stay, center of everything, close to everything. Hotel is decent for the price, but there are some serious minuses, like warm water in the shower, you need to wait for few minutes to get warm (not hot) water, which is semi-salty (like in most other hotels tbh). I stayed at Hotel Golden Star for 3 nights and couldn’t fault it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were modern and spotless, and the pool was fantastic. The location is excellent for shops and restaurants and the bus station, making it very convenient. I cannot recommend it enough.

About a km walk (about 15 mins) from the main bus station - we didn't realise that there was a bus stop just outside Maria's place that we could have used. The best place to stay in Santorini. Anna is an absolutely incredible host -she takes the time to sit down and map out the best places to go, eat, and experiences to have. The location and the sunsets are amazing! Our room was clean and spacious and we got every day free water bottles.

The pool was broken and I couldn't use it. They charge €10 if you leave towels on the floor and don't even give me a warning. They charged me €50 for the towels and for accidentally soiling the bed cover. They simply left a note under the door to go to reception and say I had to pay €50. They demanded cash, and I insisted and would only pay by card and invoice. Other than that, everything went well

We booked the hotel considering the location and the pool, but when we arrived, we were informed that the pool had been closed for over a year! I think this information should be provided at the time of booking, as it makes all the difference.

Had a nice stay with my mother at the Horizon Resort. We enjoyed both Greek breakfast and service. The stuff at the hotel was polite and friendly, open to do their best to make our stay pleasant. The location of the hotel is quite nice, around 12min to the beach and 5min to the central bus stop.

The hotel is perfect for people looking for quiet and relaxing place tos stay. The only issue was the transport link to the main city and tourist attraction. There is no bus service I have seen in my stay, even if u order Uber u have to wait up to 20 minutes to arrive. If you are planning to hire a car then the hotel is perfect place to stay.

It was nice that it was about a 15-minute walk from the center of Ia, so I could go there at a convenient time in the morning or evening. The hotel is fantastic and is in a good location, about a kilometer walk from the center. High barrel ceiling in room. Excellent amenities (new safe and mini fridge). Large quiet room, bathroom setup is excellent with separate shower. Only negative is there are 2 pillows per person. One is feather but I could feel the feather quills. The other pillow is synthetic but is too hard.

Great venue. Very clean. Unfortunately the woman with brown hair (one of the sisters) was really rude and very abrupt and abrasive every morning during the breakfast service. She needs to relax and make guests feel more welcome. Her sister with the blonde hair was lovely.

Got the senior villa and the view was not as good we thought of the caldera. The lack of view of caldera was a huge disappointment for the price. The villa was large and clean. They welcomed us with drinks, and the manager at the reception was very accommodating. She explained everything about the island, offered us tours to the caldera, and even gave tips on places to visit by car along with other attractions around the island. We had a great stay in the white cave villas and the staff were very helpful and pleasant and made me a lovely surprise for my birthday, decorating the room with balloons, a nice touch. Loved our stay! The host was very nice and helped us with our luggage and settled us in. They even provide a shuttle service from the airport and to the ferry for a cost but it was better then getting a taxi. The room was spacious and clean. Fantastic hotel in a quiet part of Karterados. Easy to get to Fira by walking or bus, as well as many other tourist destinations using public transport. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of food and shopping facilities close by too. The breakfast was great and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. I would recommend this to any other families visiting the area.

The hotel was easy to reach from the ferry port by public bus. Bus stop near the hotel. The hotel itself was simple and unfortunately did not have a bar. The breakfast was OK. The rooms were relatively small and the balcony was very small. Our friends had a larger balcony. The staff were very friendly and on the day of our departure we were able to have breakfast half an hour before breakfast started...

Loved our stay!! Our room was perfect, AC was a must with the high temps. Great location to explore the island on foot, by bus and ATV. The staff were amazing, so sweet and helpful! Highly recommend!
