We visited Santorini recently with 10 other family members for our niece's wedding. El Greco was our hotel of choice. Great decision!! The complex is outstanding, with several beautifully maintained pools and surrounds. Generally it's a beautiful place. The room is awesome, the pools and plants. The only minuses are: nothing special for breakfast (like in a typical 3-4 star hotel) and the pools not heated (not even one)

Wonderful hotel and service was great. Easy walk to shops 10 mins. Bar service at pool and Esmerelda was great. Breakfast not so good, food not hot e.g. bacon eggs etc. Location was excellent

Traveling with two kids, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent ,  less than a 10-minute walk to Fira and the bus stop. The breakfast was also good. The only downside was that the staff were quite rude and not very friendly, which was disappointing considering how nice everything else was.

The resort itself is lovely, but the view from our room was of a wall. No one at reception spoke Italian, and the sweet options at breakfast were disappointing.

Hotel has large, spacious room, and depending where you are located you are very close to one of the many pools the hotel has to offer. Almost 10 min walk to Fira Breakfast was included and amazing. My husband can’t stop thinking about the burger! He got it twice in 5 days and it was worth every cent! Bed was great! Awesome pillows. Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kamari. Kid friendly, with kind and helpful staff. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious, with so many options to choose from. Our time was limited but there was no sun in the back of our room like the other sections.

Great hotel, friendly staff, great rooms, great beds, low pressure water in the showers, great massage, great pools and nearby beach, very good breakfast. There was an island power outage but the hotel owns a power generator which allowed for some power to exist, better than nothing. There is noise from passing airplanes, but you get used to it, it doesn't bother at night. Good gym. Recommended!

This resort is a real gem in a fantastic location. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and getting into town is quick and easy. First time in Santorini a lovely island. Transfer time from the airport was around 25 minutes checked in at reception a very warm welcoming in our junior suite & unpacked all within 20 minutes. Not recomendee . It’s normal resort nothing special you even not feeling you are in Santorini because the location is far away and you need car to go to the center. Taxi is very expensive there. They said online that they have free shuttle to center but when I ask they said we don’t have shuttle but when I said it’s written online they said we have but it’s 5 pm . it was just at 5 pm and it’s picking...

Great stay at De Sol, everything in our room looks new and the amenities are amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the hotel who were so amazing to allow us to check in slightly earlier. Room was huge with a sofa and sufficient amenities. The buffet breakfast was also great with a good range of food!

They said it was a food buffet, but after checking it on paper, Serve food that looks like it’s been a few days They say you can't use the sauna spa in winter because it's closed. I think I should take a sauna in the summer. It's a bit far from Thira. It's a 40-minute walk.

It's my fault that my English skills are poor, but the staff made me feel bad. The hotel itself is clean and the breakfast is delicious. Please note that the shuttle service does not seem to be available during the winter.

The environment is quite good and the front desk is very helpful, but the transportation is not convenient. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Fira and 40 minutes to take the bus back from the Red Beach. There is no prudent option to rent a car.

The only thing I can come up with on my wishlist here would be some more closet space to unpack your luggage. I could go on and on about this place. Absolutely phenomenal experience on our honeymoon. From the room to the view to the room service, breakfast and incredible staff who welcomed us like it was our home! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to vacation here. Location, location, location! Absolutely spectacular. Wonderful views from the room, terraces, breakfast room and infinity pool. Pool is really big and deep, allows for a sporty swim. Staff is very kind. Free private parking lot is included, so is access to the gym (by the parking). Porter will come to assist you with luggage. Rich and authentic breakfast.

The hotel is perched high up above Imerovigli with spectacular views. The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in the honeymoon suites and the staff are always happy to help. The massage from Yanis was excellent, I would recommend that especially as you should be prepared to go nowhere without going up and down huge steps, by the end of your stay your calves will be toned to perfection.

This is a very, very amazing hotel. The service is simply better than many five-star hotels. All the service staff are very professional. The room was adequate, the food wasn’t bad although the staff had nothing better to do but make things up that it’s unsafe for us to drink or eat around the pool area unless food or drinks were purchased onsite. Kept being watched upon and made feel uncomfortable. It’s been my second time staying here and it’s changed for the worst as the staff mentioned things have changed in the last year.

Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Our junior suite was perfect, beautifully detailed and the view is incredible. Less crowded than Fira or Oia, quiet, lovely. Be sure to go to Avocado restaurant nearby, Greek food was amazing and clearly a family business.
