We were looking for a quiet place to relax but also with a little buzz – and Majestic nailed it. Our room had perfect sound insulation, so we could nap mid-day while the pool area was lively. Drinks flowed all day, food was fresh, and we didn’t need to leave the hotel for anything because we had an all inclusive hotel. That’s a win.

We’ve stayed in Zante before, but Majestic really raised the bar. Everything from the spotless rooms to the endless food options was top-notch. The spa was amazing and worth every euro – I had the best massage of my life. Also, how often do you see a tattoo studio inside a hotel? Wild.

We spent 5 days here... it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool... drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort... I arrived here in dread having read some reviews and it was nowhere near as bad as I expected. A good hotel, at reasonable cost. Good accommodation and generally great helpful staff. Food generally good and plentiful . The downside.! Everything is good in the hotel and the location is perfect. But the shower setting is quite low and shower area is small. During the showering, one hand is needed to hold the shower head.

The location is excellent. It is right in the center of Zakynthos Town. I booked a sea view room and watched the sunrise directly from the balcony. The view was superb. The room was average and the facilities were quite old, but the location offset many of the shortcomings. The location is definitely good, and the front desk is quite polite. But the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner is facing the TV, and it won't turn on if you don't close the door. You still have to use your own shower gel and shampoo, but I didn't use them despite looking at the facilities.

I had a wonderful holiday with my girlfriend at this hotel. We really liked the staff's service, and what we liked even more was waking up to direct sea views. Excellent place to stay for a quiet trip away. Lovely local restaurants which were really good by any standard and easily walkable. The communal parts of the hotel were great. Only issue is the room. I think some rooms have been upgraded but we must have been in an older one. Whilst clean and well serviced the mattress was horrendous. Like sleeping on concrete.

I loved this hotel. The setting is beautiful (we booked a junior suite with sea view), the room very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts and evening meals were great. It is in a quiet location so not for people looking for nightlife but if you want a relaxing holiday near a beautiful beach, it's perfect.

We stayed for three nights. There are small shops and restaurants around the hotel. However, the hotel facilities were always out of order. The power circuit breaker in the room tripped on the first day and the water supply was cut off for the next two days.

Astir plainly offers what you pay for. The facility has seen its better days, but that's pretty much its only/main con. Our own hotel were very mean and we had to check out at the morning while the transfer left at night! So this hotel let us pay for only a lunch buffet and then we could spend the whole day by this pool, but things and eat the buffet. Really nice staff who helped us

We have been to Astir Palace last year and we liked it. But this year our stay was even much better. Extraordinary variety of food and very tasty. Very clean, every day cleaning of the room. The hotel staff are so friendly. We had a very comfortable stay. There isn’t much choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. However there are plenty of restaurants near by and the locals are so welcoming. Hotel in great location onto the sea front. Room was also clean.

I had an emergency night here due to a jet2 plane issue. It was very dated. Bed was OK. But decor leaves a lot to be desired. One of my favourite places I have stayed. La caretta despite being on the main road of alykanas is quiet. Exactly what I wanted. It’s clean and facilities are ideal. Staff are so friendly and classic Greek friendly hospitality. I can’t wait to be back.

The best hotel in alykanas, we’ve stayed there a few times over the past couple of years. The owners are amazing, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely clean and modern. They are located in the centre of Alykanas, which was perfect for us, with a short walk to the beach. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Nice view from the hotel - there is a pool with sea view. However, very far away from everything. If you want to go eat in town, can only call taxi (15 euro for 3-4km drive). Pick up service usually don’t come up to the hill and asked us to walk down the hill all the time. The road downhill is very slippery, my friend fell on the road!! When we arrived, we were told there was a problem with our room – the previous guests had cracked the tub so the shower wasn’t usable. At first we were a bit worried about what that meant, but it all turned out fine. We were given our own private shower room downstairs and still had a lovely sea-view room upstairs. Superb family holiday. The location is great, just on the edge of the resort so nice and quiet for families, but literally directly on the beach. The pool is great, lots of sun loungers too, never had to worry about not getting one ! The rooms are spotless and the view from our balcony was unreal. Staff are so good, nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous stay and we will definitely return 👍🏼

Deluxe Ocean View room was very spacious and very large outdoor balcony. The pool and beach were great. Very sandy beach. Chairs and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. Front desk staff were very helpful with laundry and getting us taxis. On site restaurant for breakfast and lunch and bar stayed open until 11. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would happily stay again.
