2 star hotels in Hungary

Very simple, but clean, good value for money. The problem is just early in the morning, workers who are living in hotel are very loud.

I was been hosting by my company here for two weeks. I guess it is reasonable price, but don't have high expectations. The rooms are cozy, with Tv, openable-moskito safe windows, own tiny bathroom. There are also big cabinets for storing clothes... ect. You get your own towel, and some cups. The bed sheets are clean, but old. There is free Wifi. They have cats, so don't be surprised if you meet with...

perfect value, perfect stop-over great place, great location just a short drive from austria, slovenia or croatia. very friendly reception, great breakfast, there is even a terrase to sit in the summer. basic rooms but you absolutely get what you pay for. it is very unfair to leave them bad reviews, for this price u simply cant get better than this! there is even gated parking and wifi for free!

This is the 2nd time we are here and this time we had a pleasant surprise, everything is new, starting with the exterior of the hotel and ending with the rooms and hallways. The staff is very polite as always. This hotel brings value for those that are in transit and the bonus is that you can even bring your pet.

The best if you want to hike near Nagykanizsa and you just want a place to stay overnight. The staff is very kind, recommended for everyone!

It is rather like an ex-dormitory, but ok.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Szekszárd especially for what you pay. You're in walking distance from main square and still far enough not to be bothered by the noise. The rooms are good, they're what you'd expect from a hotel, with some minor issues like the showerhead and tap in need of replacing. With a TV and free wif in your roomi, it's a worthy place to stay. In the city center, a short walk from a fast charging station for EV cars (thanks, Szekszárd). When the receptionist saw us, we got a bigger room (there was a smaller surcharge for the child). Good breakfast and baby chair.

Correct price, clean.A lit bit liar to hook the customer, I asked on the phone and face to face before check-in if I can pay with euro and have an invoice in euro yes was the answer. When it was time to checkout: not possible. I only had a sort of hand & printed do-it yourself invoice. Anyway nice people.

The heating was not good on the first night, the lights were flashing in the bathroom. The breakfast was good, the reception was nice.

Cheap We landed here for one night by accident, because the fancy hostel we booked downtown suddenly claimed they “had a problem with the card keys” that could be only fixed the next day. Its cheap, i shall not expect anymore but here are the facts: 1. I ordered a single room with large bed as preference , they gave me a room with 3 small beds. 2. The booking prize was 52 for two nights, they charged me 54Euros. 3. The toilet is big enough, although there is no stuff for showering, even not a towel. 4. They allowed us to check in slightly earlier which was appreciated as we were in town for a wedding. She then accommodated a later breakfast as well as check out as the weddings end very early in the mornings.

The hotel is very nice, clean, good location. The room was extremely overheated and unfortunately there was no option to manage the heating level. To keep the window open, was just temporary solution and sleeping in 40C was not nice altough it is winter outside. In general it is a good deal for this prices.

Exceptional service great breakfast and staff

Arrived in the heat after a long day in the saddle. Bike parked in the gazebo shade. Greeted with a nice welcome and told if we're out late to use a different door so we can still get in. Very helpful. Great price. Room was large, airy and had a fantastic balcony with a really nice view. An easy walk to the lake and so many places to eat. Awesome in hotel breakfast.

The room was big, clean and it had a smart TV so we could watch Youtube. We ate dinner and breakfast here and the food was good and the portions were big (we ordered something for 2 people and it was enough for one more person).

Cheap older hotel in a small town. Room is spotlessly clean, and bedroom part looks reasonably fresh. Bathroom looks like it is straight from the Communist era (which it probably is), but it also is spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Restaurant didn't serve dinner, said kitchen closed at 7 PM, but that was okay as there is an excellent local restaurant just down the road. Good parking right outside the door...

It was very clean and nice beds, for this price it's very good room. They have big car parking and there is a lot of place, they also have a bar on the 1st floor. Close to this place you can find mini market and Cafe with ice cream. 3km you have Family hotel and there is a restaurant with Turkish food.

Have stayed here at least four times now, the rooms are basic but clean, all rooms have A/C there is an excellent bar that is open until late, i have not eaten in the restaurant but it looks nice. A few minutes off the Motorway but worth the time as the Hotel is better value than others in the area. I will always stay here when travelling through Hungary.

The hotel is good position for someone who is tired from travelling just 4km from highway. The room is old and dirty a bit. The device is horrible. The lady at the reception don't speak one world of English.

We stayed here for one night enroute from Slovakia to Croatia. We slept very well, the breakfast was decent and the location to the lake was good. The place is a bit old fashioned and the water works on the bathroom made a constant noise. But for 20 is euros we couldn't really complain. Ok hotel for those that just wanna sleep and pay as less as possible. It was clean, but the towel they don’t change and they clean only when you check out. Location is in my opinion is not ideal for someone that wants to visit the best of Budapest even though is close to a public transports and the stadium of MKT Budapest .
