Rooms very nicely decorated, we liked welness place with jakuzzi pool, swimming pool and other facilities included in our stay. Location great in center, about 500 m from beach. Parking at hotel with cost or around by hotel for free. Breakfast excellent and all day access to hot/cold non alko beverages.

Central to siofok, next to the station. Lovely quirky rooms, amazing wellbeing centre with sauna, steamroom, pool and hot tub! Very reasonably priced too!

Staff is friendly but do have little English so could not help. And did not have information. Free Coffee available all day. Room was not cleaned Aircondition did not work - Room was too hot. Answer was "AC is turned to heat already" ... No option to.open windows. Breakfast was OK Spa is small but OK.

Cheap, very close to the nightclubs area and public transportation, recommended for a cheap and easy visit of Budapest. The old receptionist guy was drunk, and the rooms are really ugly though.

We stayed here for one night. The experience with the guest was very nice. Very welcoming staff. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and it was hard to sleep on a hot summer night. But M2 is close and that was very nice.

It was an okay experience. The room was clean, safe for my dust allergy. The landlord was helpful too. But there's a clear disconnect between the landlord and the receptionist. The later is clearly doing things only for money.. Both I and other guests had problems with him. And the toilet paper was also missing.. It's okay for a one time stay.

Really nice, cosy place to stay. Free parking on the street, Burger King restaurant 5 minutes of walk from the guesthouse. The only thing that may be disturbing for some people is the railway line nearby this Guesthouse and trains passing there all the night. Except this, everything is okay :)

Good value only if you have a good deal on a room. For the basic rate it is expensive. Decent rooms, messy communal shower and the reception is not to good. They mixed up our room, our new room had no airco. In dutch we would say 'vergane glorie'

The experience in the hostel was amazing, the place is in a very good location of the city, nearby to the tram and the metro. The accommodation was very good, and the service very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast. Rooms are very clean but beds are not that big if you're a tall person. Location is superb and you can directly find anything you need immediately. They have group Whatsapp for activities but I didn't try it. Breakfast is fine and tasty.

My third time. I love the location the team and the breakfast. It is low budget to enjoy small luxury and meet good people.

The place is big, clean and organised. We came with our RV but the rooms looked good from the outside. One side of the site has a new nice toilet and shower, the other side is a bit outdated. There is a big swimming pool, but it's hard to access it because it's high over ground, there is also a toddler pool but there is not much place to sit around it. A typical large campsite with multiple serviceable restaurants, some lake frontage suitable for swimming, and decent facilities.

Not a good place to stay if you're a solo traveler. Lots of groups and pretty noisy area. But the staff and some parts are amazing as a it is a party hostel.

The location of Pal Mini Hostel is great and very convenient. However, the room was not soundproof at all, so it was quite noisy. The showerhead in our bathroom was also broken, which was disappointing. The price felt a bit expensive for what we got, but it might be because we stayed during New Year’s.

We stayed a few nights during January 2026. This is such a cute place! We loved the spacious living area. It was nice to have a kitchen and a refrigerator too. Very safe place to stay. There are several places to eat and nice grocery stores near by.

The building is old but we'll kept, there are plenty of stairs and the hostel is on the top floor, I love the wallpaper designs. Hot water goes out sometimes so shower quickly! I could stay here so comfortable.The hotel owner and her partner were very very helpful and kindness. Very kind staff, beautiful view and terrasse right outside the room overlooking the Danube. As regards the bed, the mattress was unfortunately a bit too soft, and I would have appreciated it if the bed was equipped with a bed rail. We had a great stay at Island Hostel! Unfortunately our flight arrived very late at budapest which meant we could only arrive at 2 am which is outside of check out hours, but the host was very understandable and friendly. Make sure to warn then about it prior! If we are ever back to budapest we would love to stay here again.

I liked the Hostel Manager ( Ms Edit ) more than the hostel itself. She was Actually Brilliant in dealing, Behavior & Managing the Residency in general. As a person i envy the hostel's owner for her. Had a great experience at this hostel! Close to Keleti station, very well priced and room was clean. Not a super social hostel, but if you’re looking for something quiet this is perfect. Only reasons I’m giving it a 4/5 is because they only accept cash, it’s a little hidden away and hard to find and the bathrooms were a little weird. But for the price you pay it’s perfect.

This accommodation operates without a reception, and in our case, our flight arrived early, so we had to find a separate place to store our luggage, which was a hassle. Furthermore, the hotel lacked soundproofing, so we could hear a lot of noise. Please note that the location is within walking distance of major tourist attractions.
