Located in a small alley about a 15-minute drive from Ubud Palace, the location isn't great, but it's incredibly peaceful. You can see the valley, the stream, and hear the chirping of insects and birds. For this price, staying at a top 100 resort recommended by YT is fantastic. Although the room facilities are a bit old, I still highly recommend it! The staff are very friendly, and there are three free shuttle buses a day to Ubud.

An exceptional place to stay - full to the brim of warm, welcoming, hospitable staff in every department of the hotel. Easily the best holiday experience I have ever had personally!! The history of Ulun Ubud is well worth learning about & the founders' continuation of culture & unbridled hospitality, beauty & maintenance of the grounds / buildings is apparent throughout. An absolutely first class all round experience - more than worthy of their 5* rating in my honest opinion. I'll definitely be back soon 😎🙌🏼🌴💚

The location / view from the resort is spectacular. The service team are always very helpful. However, the rooms are very old and may need lot of maintenance since the door doesn’t lock properly, bed makes lot of noise and AC is very tiny so it took ages to cool the room.

With our friends we managed to book out 1/2 the resort for our wedding. It was an amazing experience. The resort is beautiful and the staff helped to make our week there and our wedding a truly memorable experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent. A warning…there are a lot of steps! Get a room up high near reception if that might be an issue. A special mention to Octha, Supriani & Sri who looked after us so so well.

A really lovely hotel but let down by the staff. No welcome drink when we arrived, the staff member was more interested in us paying the hotel bill straight away. No hangers in the wardrobe and when we asked the most they could give us were 3 each - no other storage for clothes, just a hanging wardrobe. The ‘minibar’ fridge is just an empty fridge. We bought a couple of drinks to enjoy however they only had one bottle opener in the resort! Requested a coffee at the pool bar, was told the machine wasn’t working so hiked the stairs to the restaurant to be told they would bring it to the pool - the staff at the pool had a phone and could have called them. Two mornings we had early departures and found reception in darkness and the staff asleep on the sofas and had to wake them. All that said, the view from the bedroom was breathtaking and the service and food in the restaurant was very good. A few small changes would make this a 5 star hotel.

Excelent service and coffee. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee here while enjoying the beautiful scenery and sorting out things using the good free wifi provided. This is definitely the one of reasons why I would love to return Ubud and Bali.

Shoreditch style coffee shop in Ubud. Coffee is prepared manually. Good selection of coffee and tea and cakes too. The location is good, right next to a small rice plantation. Easy to access from the street.
