We had a great weekend with our children and grandchildren. They gave us 5 rooms next to each other and the kids really enjoyed our stay. It was really a nice Shabbat vacation!

It is a fantastic location. But the hotel isn’t great. Shower leaks everywhere, the fire alarms in the hall beep every 2 minutes and non of the receptionists seemed to care and there is construction or something outside that is very loud early. Fine if you get it at a great price, but know what you are getting

Overall, an exceptional stay. Very friendly staff who let me check-in a tad bit early! Very trendy room. Perfect location for Jaffa street and shopping at the shuk, to the light rail and to the Old City. Moldy shower but exceptionally clean otherwise. The location is perfect. Close to transportation and near shops/attractions. Hotel itself is tired and a bit rundown. The bedroom floor was covered in footprints and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Super value. Building needs some renovation but is kept very clean and everything else is super and staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and abundant. I'm not usually one for a chain hotel, but this place has a semi independent vibe with its decor. We got a room on a high floor which gives you an amazing view of Jerusalem! For the price, it was what we expected. No complaints but this is definitely a budget hotel. No frills. Great location. Super nice staff. Easy in/out, no wasting time on paperwork. Parking is tricky so if bringing a car, be warned there is no nearby parking. We only stayed one night and didn’t spend much time in the hotel but it served our needs.

The owner was friendly and helpful and the location is very central. The bed sheets were clean but there were many small flies congregating in the bathroom because the window screen had a design fault were it has open gap letting the flies in. The overall cleanliness has room for improvement. Given the high cost of Jerusalem, the price of the room is reasonable. So you get what you pay for.

For two of us (married) the room was small by our normal standards in the USA. But…TV had 5+ English channels, shower in the corner was good with hot water, and small refrig served our needs. I would have liked a breakfast area but Aroma Coffee is 30 steps from the front door. No elevator and first rooms start on the 2nd floor. There was at least another floor above us.

I stayed at the Hotel Kaplan for a three week study program which was a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide you with the essentials, nothing more. The location is excellent. You can simply walk through the Mamilla mall to the Jaffa gate. Due to the location, there is traffic noise but it is lessened by closing the curtains. The room was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. They could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel!!

I have spent a couple of nights in this hotel and I have enjoyed a lot. It is very well situated, good price and nice staff members, very helpful. When I arrived I had access to the room very much which is always appreciated after travelling. I liked it so much that I have added an extra night to my stay. The hotel was very nice. Staff extremely friendly, we even got a free upgrade to a better room. The location was great as it is very close to the city center and in the middle of an area with many shops and restaurants. One comment that I have is that the breakfast was missing labels on the food so we needed to ask in case we did not recognize the food.

It’s the second time staying in this lovely hotel. It’s a room en-suite only with no elevator but it’s only one floor. There is no room service & reception is there only during the day. Make sure you aren’t booked in a room that is opposite a nightclub which we were. I haven’t slept for two days, besides the hooting that they love in this country. Making the noisy rooms soundproof would really help...

Personal was nice and it was clean, the breakfast was good and it is a great location. However, we found it way too overpriced for what we got (and it wasn’t high season). Main problem is that rooms are not really soundproof so you can hear everything outside and see the light on the hall that is on all night… also, the bathroom was extremely small, not ventilated and not really private as the door...

The front desk staff was outstanding. The gentleman that was at the desk when we picked up our bags to head to the airport was so knowledgeable and proud of the property that I think he should be allowed time to provide tours - they would be excellent!

The staff was great minus their 7am to 10 am breakfast. I cant eat somewhere if I show up and you tell me its going to be another 20 mins before you open. The YMCA gym is a great bonus. There's really nothing negative to say about this hotel. It was all good. Clean, great location, quiet. The staff was particularly friendly. One female desk clerk was always helpful. The cleaning staff were great. I particularly liked this older gentleman. The woman who attends the breakfast buffet was very nice and efficient. The buffet was great, lots of choices.

We are visiting hashimi hotel from South Africa for 5 days. The hotel is the best location in the old city very near to Al Aqsa walking distance is 500m. However, the room and bathroom is very tiny. A very convenient hotel in the heart of the old city, close to many of the attractions and particularly Masjid Al-Aqsa. There are several gates in close proximity to the hotel, so the mosque can be easily reached. The rooms are comfortable with very basic furnishing. The view from the upstairs eating area is just amazing and very pleasant to sit there during the evenings. Good WiFi in the rooms.

We loved our stay at Paamonim. The hotel is very clean and quiet, and the location is fantastic--as central as you can get. (There is construction right outside for the new light rail but it's not noisy.) Everyone on staff, including the owner, was so friendly. And the breakfast--omg, the most amazing, delicious breakfast you can possibly imagine.

This was always a very good hotel. But since 2025, all Christian symbols and icons have been removed. Ninety percent of the guests are Muslim. The breakfast buffet has been redesigned for Muslims, as has the hotel itself.

Good, updated room with an excellent bed and excellent bathroom. Food was very good, although there was no variety day to day. Keep in mind, that if you are shopping in gift shops, most places list prices in US dollars or sometimes Euros. Thus, if you exchange money at the airport into the New Israeli Shekels. and pay with shekels, you will lose money on the conversion rate.

We stayed here as part of a tour group, so we had many meals here. The food was good, but day to day there was not much variety.
