Hotel Miramonti in Madonna di Campiglio

I'm from Chicago.
Almost 30 years ago. My wife and I set out on 3 week car trip around Europe.
I was working with a guy at Northwestern University. Eddie Mangazini I believe
Said he had family in Pinzolo
And his cousins uncle? Carlo owned a hotel.
Well it was on our route.
Carlo treated us like royalty.

Spent unforgetable vacation here! Stuff is extremely nice and always ready to help and assist you. Rooms are new and very clean, food (we had breakfast and dinner) is local authentic and it is great! For skiers, nearest lift is next to hotel and there are two slopes leading to hotel itself.

Rarely am I surprised, but my expectations were exceeded by this hotel. The lobby seemed a little dated, but the service was exemplary. The entire staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable - especially the maitre d' who genuinely made us feel welcome. We stayed New Years Eve and the oysters, champagne and pre fix dinner (dinner is included in the cost) was exceptional.

I stayed here for a week whilst on a skiing holiday, and would go back again without question.

The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortably appointed. Some of the rooms have been recently renovated and look lovely. The communal areas are clean, comfortable and also well sized so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of your neighbours. There is a small relaxation and spa area downstairs which can get a little crowded.

From the outset, whilst booking online and in emails prior to arrival the staff were very helpful, and friendly and welcoming, both on arrival and in fact each day - Reception were more than happy to help me arrange other activities in the region.

The hotel appears to offer a half board package, covering breakfast and an evening meal. The breakfast is mainly a cold buffet style, cereals, fruit, pastries, breads and the like, with a few hot options such as scrambled egg, bacon and baked beans. The evening meals were great, 4 courses​ each night, which were of top quality, good range of options and very well cooked. The hotel is able to cater for various intolerances with a bit of notice, although it's worth clarifying each event as there were a few misunderstandings with a gluten free diet.

All in all, definitely recommended.
