Nice friendly hotel with lovely pool, nice gardens, nice breakfast, pleasant staff, pool bar didn't open until 4pm which seems strange and had to wait for someone to appear but cocktails were excellent and reasonable. Lots of lovely romantic secluded comfy canopied shady spots to sit but seem very underused and not especially taken care of a bit of sweeping up and dusting/wiping of these areas would improve it. Comfy sunbeds and Bali beds around the pool but some mattresses were a bit worn out and needed replacing. There was another bar hidden behind pool area but was closed so not sure if that was just for events looked like it could be nice if opened. Room was nice enough, comfy clean, lovely big walk in shower. We had a balcony room on 1st floor at end of the block next to fire escape so no noise from other rooms but a couple of times people on the fire escape (was it cleaners carrying their equipment) woke us up early with their clattering. Tiny balcony with no sun due to all the plants and foliage overgrowing onto the balcony was a bit disappointing I suppose it is good if you want the shade but being English we want the sun! Probably could have asked for a different room but we were fine with it. The clothes airer on balcony was rusty though so did not use and this needs fixing/replacing. Very close to beach and Town. Pool towels provided. Discount code given for ferry. A little bit more attention to maintenance is all that is needed. Overall a good stay would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Barracuda in Elba! The facilities are absolutely beautiful – the pool and garden make you feel like you’re in a tropical oasis. Even the gym was great – semi-outdoors, which made workouts feel fresh and energizing. The team was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the food was really enjoyable – just what we wanted on holiday. A great tip: just down the road is the Tropical Beach Club – perfect for a beautiful day by the sea. It’s got a great laid-back vibe, comfortable beach beds, great food and drinks. Just what you want for a perfect beach day. Would absolutely come back – a little slice of paradise on Elba!

Just home after a short trip to Barracuda Hotel in Torremolinos. Hotel is in a good location and the roof top bar is lovely , great views from it. No hot water for shower so we had to have cold showers each evening. My main fault about this complex was we had asked on arrival if we could book and pay for a late check out and we were told ask on the morning of our departure which we did to be told no not possible. We asked if there would be anywhere for us to shower and change before leaving for airport and we were told we could shower at the pool and had to change in the toilets. So we had to check out at 12noon and our flight was not until 11.40pm. Did not find reception staff very friendly or helpful.
