Laqua by the Sea in Meta

I have not finished my stay here yet but I am so happy with the service and the room that I had to leave a review! Starting with the hotel staff that are absolutely AMAZING, especially Martina and Luigo they're so professional and kind, this little hotel is so clean and modern, our room is great as well. Beautiful large bathroom with nice quality finishes, a lovely big shower, a VERY VERY comfortable bed, and I love the scent . Now one of the best parts, the amazing view you get from your own little pool is the cherry on the top, the temperature of the pool is perfect and it’s also very clean. The breakfast options are very generous and you can definitely find something you like. I would 100% be back and try the other locations as well then I get the opportunity. This place exceeded my expectations 🥰

An absolute stunning stop for our honeymoon. The service was impeccable, the front desk staff are truly some of the nicest people you’ll meet in Italy! The view is absolutely gorgeous. It is about 15-20 mins from the main square of Sorrento, so you’ll have to get a taxi if you are headed there. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation!

The service in this hotel was so outstanding that it made the whole trip. The rooms are very spacious and they have a cool vibe. The balcony with the pool/jacuzzi (not hot but nice) is such a beautiful place to enjoy down time and a stunning view. The breakfast delivered each morning was good. The wellness center was not as expected. It was only a sauna and a hot tub that was not nearly hot enough. I didn’t use the spa services but my friends had massages that they really enjoyed. The only thing I could point out is that the bathroom design could be better. There needed more hooks for towels in the bathroom and by the pool. They needed more counter space by the sink. There is no privacy for the shower. It is also about 15 minutes to Sorrento Center. While we liked that it was more quiet away from the crowds, we needed to take a taxi to get into the center and they are not cheap. There is an excellent restaurant a block away called Tavernetta Cinquantotto and a nice pizza/pasta place called Tico Tico down the stairs by the water. This gave us some good options to avoid going into the town center. The true superstars were the staff that helped us with taxis, tours, spa appointments, etc. Martina, Luigi, Roberta and Claudia were unbelievably helpful and always took care of every request (via What's App) with friendly and efficient responses. I would love to try some of the sister properties when I go back to Italy because they really set the bar.

The staff were amazing. They could not do enough for you. The room was equally amazing with fantastic views and the pool in the balcony area was the icing on the cake 👌😍

A fantastic stay outside of Sorrento, which is crammed with tourists from every neck of the world. Meta is quieter and more local, with admittedly fewer restaurant options but fantastic beach clubs and the relentless support of Laqua staff. A perfect getaway on the Amalfi coast that feels all yours...as well as those who share Laqua with you. The sole drawback of the space (with beautiful rooms, a pool attached to each, and breakfast & spa included each day) is that there is not a huge amount of privacy out on the deck/pool area, as you are only separated from your neighbors by a current that billows from the winds off the sea. 9/10.

We loved our stay at Laqua- the breakfast was lovely. We felt so welcome and attended to during our stay- staff was always asking if we needed anything and if everything was well. Our room had a pool with an amazing view which we enjoyed watching thunder and hail storms from while sipping wine.. located conveniently near the beach, bus stop, and about 20 min walk from the train station made it easy to explore sorrento and Pompeii. We got engaged in Pompeii & after a long day of walking coming back to our room was so relaxing. We even booked time in the spa room to float in the salt pool which was lovely. Thank you!

The hotel staff was very friendly and the pool outside the room was amazing after a long hot day in sorrento. The room were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. It’s a little far from the town of sorrento but I liked how quiet it was. The pools are only separated by a curtain so at times your neighbors can be too close for comfort but overall everyone was respectful.

We had an amazing stay at Laqua by the Sea, thanks to the exceptional staff—Luigi, Claudia, Roberta, and Martina. Their hospitality and helpfulness made our first visit truly special. From assisting with our luggage and ordering food to guiding us around the city and responding instantly to our calls, their service was outstanding. Next door to the beach. The food was also incredible. We felt so well taken care of—highly recommended! Will return 1000% for a longer stay!!❤️

Most incredible stay! We came for our honeymoon and were blown away by the hotel. The package we got with the wellness area was amazing, breakfast was wonderful and the staff were extremely professional and attentive. We travelled to a few places and this hotel was our favourite. I will say that the location is a fair bit of effort to get to Sorrento but it was great if you want to stay in the area and are happy to travel in.
