Conte di Cabrera Hotel Club in Pozzallo

Excellent structure, huge and well-kept, arranged around a huge and meticulously maintained park, all overlooking a dream beach. Buffet restaurant service with a wide variety of dishes of all kinds, freshly baked pizza every day, and always something grilled on the spot (fish or meat). Spacious, welcoming and clean rooms. I recommend everyone to take a short walk to the left of the beach, past the port area, to reach another wonderful beach of Pozzallo in front of the ruins of a wonderful castle.

I FIRST OF ALL say that it is not a tourist village but a club, so we did not pay the entertainment card, and it is a good saving of money, the entertainment was there, very soft and few entertainers, but being the penultimate week before the closure I think it is normal, however the good guys, they tried to involve as many as possible, for the rooms I recommend the highest floor, you do not hear any doors closing and people walking above your head, the comfortable bed and we slept well, the bathroom the only flaw is that the bathtub has the curtain, not very hygienic and the bathroom is blind and not ventilated, the balcony is quite large and with everything you need, drying rack, two chairs and a small table, little security for the low wall that separates you from the other rooms, but just close the sliding door when you leave and the problem does not arise. The restaurant was ok, the waiters, including Simona and the girl with the lip tattoo on her neck (I don't know her name), were very kind, the food was varied and all fresh and well cooked, the pizzas were baked piping hot, there were dispensers with water, wine, beer and orange juice, cola etc., available all day and you could also fill your own bottle/flask, I liked that it was written not to fill directly from the dispenser but via jug for hygiene reasons!! On the beach and at the pool there are sunbeds and umbrellas available, of course for September they were crowded, but I don't know if with the full house in August the same would be true. I saw that they organized excursions but I didn't participate. For those who say that it is penalized for its location and that you need a car, remember that all over the world the villages are always in areas a little outside the town..... the reception is always available, even on the evening of departure when our car wouldn't start, the maintenance man of the structure helped us with the cables... he could very well have said that it wasn't his responsibility.... thank you, special thanks to Mr Garafa!!!

A friend and I spent one week at Conte di Cabrera. It was my first time in a big size resort. I was very positively surprised. The room ( a superior) was very spacious and clean, catered to the needs of a beach life (a big balcony with view on the garden and sea with drying rack, and a big bathroom with separated toilet; in addition, close to the pool and the beach are water and soft drinks station, very helpful to refill your water bottles). The food is overall of good quality (perhaps worth investing in better coffee machines) and there is enough variety in what is proposed. Local produces are always good (especially the cheeses and tomatoes). The sport and the other social activities are very well planned, great variety and lots of fun! (I participated to aquagym, waterpolo, tennis, and every time and enjoyed myself a lot). We also participated to visits to Siracusa, Ragusa and Modica. The tour guides were simply amazing, knowledgeable and available to provide further explanation if needed. Amazing private beach, with good space between the umbrellas. The common areas would benefit from a revamp, but a part of that the resort well delivers on what is advertised. A special shout out to all the staff and entertainment personnel (especially Pablo, Edoardo, Béatrice and Pietro) , Isabelle and Gianni from the boat centre. Engaging with them made our stay so much richer and unforgettable!

Overall we had a good holiday. Rooms spacious, comfortable, air conditioning great and cleaning generally good. Food served exclusively by buffet but a wide choice is available and was for the most part good, waiters very efficient and instantly clean away used plates. Animation team very friendly and plenty of activities to participate in IF you want to but they’re not insistent (Asia is fantastic!! 😁). The hotel on the other hand doesn’t live up to 4 star expectations - generally drab, dull colours in the corridors and most walls (apart from the bright orange splashes that do nothing to improve the atmosphere). Bar area is lifeless without decorative anything, sofas look “used” and grubby. Swimming pool has paving around that is slippery when wet (not exactly ideal), sunbeds are consumed and squeaky and umbrellas are faded and loosing their fringes. Paving to the beach is uneven and awkward to walk on and with a pushchair or small child is very difficult to navigate. The courtesy set in the rooms are minimal - 10ml sachet of shampoo/shower gel per person per day (also miniature soaps), large towel for showering but small, thin tea towel like cloth for bidet and hands. Not a 4 star experience.

We had an excellent stay all the staff were fabulous.Christina reservation manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The food was great quality and there were many choices,the desserts in particular were outstanding and delicious.We would definitely visit again

Just a Nice place for relaxing. Helpfull staff A bit diffucult with information if you du not manage Italian / French. But every staff did outmost to fix the lingual barrier Some drinks were not included, but these were at reasinable pricing. Great Beach/ area for relaxing, swimming or being active. The Italien buffet was good & showed us a lot of the Sicilian food qualities. We Would Go again,.

5 adults and 1 child had a great experience at the hotel, friendly staff, good service, fabulous beach and swimming pool and great food. For us it was a great family resort. With easy access to Virty Ferries and trip to Malta plus easy hire car service qnd trips to Syracuse etc. we managed to combine relaxed summer days with nice excursions. Our special thanks to Roberto!

We had a fabulous time, it is very beautiful place. We enjoyed the comfort of the spacious, clean room and great selection of food. All the parts are super clean, and you can choose from several guided tours.

Just arrived back from a lovely 2 weeks at Cabrera. We all had a lovely time including grandparents and children. Special thanks to: Flávio, Salvo, Emmanuel, Davide, Eliziberta and all the other entertainment staff who were all fantastic with the kids.
