La Praia in Zambrone

My wife and I had used Hotels.ca to book this residence. After having paid the non-refundable amount for the 2 rooms we had booked, the owner of the hotel notified us by email that there is an additional 10 euro per person charge for towels and linens.

This amount was undisclosed prior to booking, and since we were a party of 7 (split between 2 rooms) an additional undisclosed charge of 70 euros was unacceptable.

We had hotels.ca contact the owner to get him to give us the refund, but he refused. We also reached out ourselves by phone (my wife speaks fluent Italian) and asked him to refund the amount as he did not disclose it prior to us purchasing this non-refundable room.

He blatantly and belligerently refused to give a refund saying that there was nothing we could do about it.

Prior to booking this hotel, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere as you too may be caught up in to paying undisclosed fees. In addition, the shameful conduct of this establishment merits no business from honest, hard working folks who earned their vacations.

Up to this point, the owner has made no effort to give us a refund or carry himself in an honest and professional manner.
