The family the owns & runs this hotel is incredible!
We stayed for one week and had an amazing stay.
The property is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast spread every morning is delicious with all the home made things, and lunch by the pool & restaurant at night is great! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again!

Borgo di Santa Barbara is a family-run wonderful hotel which offers large comfortable well equipped rooms with sea views, a swimming pool, a restaurant and bar, an awesome free morning breakfast presentation and is an ideal spot for relaxing or exploring this beautiful region of Calabria. Poolside at the hotel is great place to relax.

The hotel was clean and comfy enough. It is about a 30 minute walk into the town center/ beaches. The complimentary breakfast was great.

The lovely restaurant is steps away from rooms and it is exceptional for breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful little resort with extremely clean rooms. Short drive to the center of Tropea, but not an ideal walk. Cute shared living rooms and terrasse, as well as a pool. Restaurant on site (open to the public for lunch and dinner - La Locanda) is phenomenal!

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Two story (we asked for a ground floor), ours had a large patio with chairs, table. The A/C works better than any that we have encountered, and the bed is very comfortable. There is Wi-Fi in the room and at the restaurant. The windows have screens on them so one can open the windows for the breeze. Plenty of power outlets.

The property is very quiet, one can see the ocean, it is just steps from their restaurant, where we had a delicious dinner. Today breakfast included cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses, coffee machine that makes fresh coffee. Gated parking.

The owner and staff are very welcoming and speak several languages. Wish we could stay longer and use this as a base for exploration of Calabria.

Amazing service, lovely rooms with a nice pool to relax by. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Martina and the team tended to our every need and we truly felt special staying here as if we were part of the family. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant La Laconda on the hotel grounds was an amazing dining experience. We will be back again!

Intimate and tranquil setting with the best service and food I have ever had. Food is rustic and authentic and superior to any of the restaurants in the town. A mere 10 to 15 minute walk into the town or the owners are happy to drive you in. Rooms and premises are spotless, pool is great if you can't make it to the beach and 5 brand new rooms have just been completed. The friendliest and most sincere people you could ever meet.
