Beautiful location, but too many flaws

We were impressed by the hotel's beautiful location. The garden is truly stunning, and the view of the surrounding area is breathtaking. We also liked the size of the room and the comfortable bed.

Unfortunately, there were also many negative aspects that marred our stay. There seems to be a significant staff shortage, which was particularly noticeable at breakfast. The selection was very limited; additional items (eggs, orange juice, etc.) were only available upon request; further requests were more difficult, as staff had to be found.

The rooms are also outdated and have hardly any power outlets. There was no service at the beach or pool – no cushions on the loungers, and no staff present or helpful. The beach staff were more preoccupied with their cell phones than with attending to guests. When we asked for lunch, we were only offered chips or perhaps a sandwich with salami.

Another major drawback was the loud music from the neighboring club, which we had to endure despite checking with the hotel beforehand. When I complained, the receptionist said she was never outside and couldn't hear anything.

Overall, unfortunately, much of what was already described in the negative reviews is true. The hotel has potential, but without significant improvements in service, I unfortunately can't recommend it.

Old glory place .. actually a great hotel structure, only 16 large rooms, a bit aged in terms of deco, furniture, amenities .. Very large and nice pool, private beach access .. with in theory a bar / beach house .. in theory as it was awkwardly and simply closed despite being full season. Huge personnel problem as not enough .. restaurant good but totally overpriced and untransparent regarding costs and prices… not exactly correct .. Neighbour beach unfortunately kind of party village beach with very loud (and terrible music and entertainment) .. no real walking possibilities around and the beachfront is totally run down. All rather sad. Voile and should be so much better considering the horrendous costs !
