Villacore Hotel in Capri Village

Villacore was an amazing experience . The warmth on arrival from owner Francesco was out of this world . I felt like I was in someone’s home greeting us as family . The place has amazing views and rooms are beautiful. We had an amazing home cooked breakfast with his amazing employee who also treated us like gold . It was only 1 night but wish it was longer . He sat with us and showed us all the amazing places to see in 2 days we had and even gave us a boat tour operator which we booked to go around the island amazing experience . Highly recommended !!!!

Fantastic Stay, we we’re very pleased at Villacore. Beautiful guesthouse walking distance to Capri town center, just the right distance to remain completely peaceful but not too far from the center where the restaurants and the entertainment resides. Yes there are a lot of steps but that was our experience of Capri, get ready to walk. Much of the island is pedestrian and we developed leg muscles that we did not know exitsted. We are not the most easy family to host, we have 2 crazy kids, one that plays football 24 hours a day but Francesco and Pat were very hospitable and helped us a great deal. I would recommend Villacore to families.

The villa is located at the end of Via Tragara. After climbing the 133 steps you find yourself in a splendid building with a terrace that overlooks the Faraglioni. The view is priceless. Our room was very large as was the bathroom and with a super panoramic balcony. The breakfast on the terrace is the best. We will be back.

Fantastic place, upon arrival you are struck by the splendid villa surrounded by the greenery of the magnificent Capri vegetation. As soon as you set foot in the house, however, you realize that the emotion has yet to explode, a terrace appears in front of you which announces something wonderful from afar, you cross the living room, go out onto the terrace and enjoy a wonderful view of the stacks ... you are left without words! Having breakfast on that terrace is simply privileged. The owner of the structure Francesco welcomes you into his home, he immediately sends you a sense of tranquility and freedom, if you give him 30 minutes he plans your entire stay in Capri in the best possible way, recommending places to visit, itineraries to go and tasty culinary stops to try...

Villacore is absolutely amazing and fantastic place. The property is built on rocks so you have stunning view on the sea. Francesco who is an owner is extremely helpful and kind easy-going guy, he has also great aide, who is always there to help you and will prepare you delicious breakfast. Apart from that Francesco has normal prices and he has an offer for all groups, so you don't have to spend all your holidays' budget to stay in Capri. It is a great value for money. Francesco will also advise you where to eat to not to go bankrupt. I really love his normal attitude. If you want to stay in Capri, but you are not movie star or celebrity Villacore is the best possible place.

The place is nice, quite a walk from downtown, but it is on a road with great view, so that was nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If we had AC in the room this would be a 5 star for the price.

We visit capri regularly and have stayed at other places prior to discovering Villacore. The views are stunning from the terrace. The rooms well decorated and the colors fit the Villa perfectly. Francesco welcomes you and makes you feel very comfortable.
