Old school hotel with classical decor and easy outdoor parking. Very spacious rooms with balconies. Mine facing out was very quiet. Surprisingly large spread for breakfast with very good breads and full pastries, pancake machines, ham/bacon/eggs. Deducting a point for rooms cos mattresses were very hard and towels and sheets smelled overpoweringly of strong detergent/bleach that it was unpleasant. It could be a beautiful grand hotel if it just kept up a little. Bathrooms were already starting to be grotty. And the small plastic kettle in the room with 2 little insta nescafe packs was a sad contrast to bygone glamour. Location was just off the highway so it might not feel a restful location though you can’t tell from within the hotel which remains peaceful. Useful stop for us between Pompei to Rome but we didn’t stop in the town.

The service was great and the rooms were too! However, I checked out and realized I lost something very important to me so I arrived about 2 hours later also calling them in advance and they said they couldn't find it, I don't think they looked hard enough... But they also had good free breakfast

Loved the opulent beauty of this hotel. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Had a cancelled flight and the airlines put me there for the 2nd night of the delay. Wish I'd been there for both nights. The Royal Palace only 2 miles from the hotel if you have time. Lovely spa in the hotel and relaxing atrium. The pool was officially closed (season end) but the pool area was nice. Great place for a conference.

Some rooms are old fashioned, one we were given had a shower that was very old and didn't work. Asked to change room at the reception and was offered a more modern comfortable room with no fuss. All staff were excellent, so friendly and welcoming. Location isn't the best, far from Naples and not much to do in Caserta. Hotel on a big free way. However there are a couple of great restaurants around. Pool side very nice. Breakfast good but some days quite crowded. Lovely hotel but would need to drive for the location or be prepared to take bus, train or taxi.

This hotel has definitely seen better days. The rooms were clean but extremely dated, and the old carpet honestly skeeved me out. The air conditioning barely worked, so the room was uncomfortably hot at night and made it hard to sleep.
The pool area is in dire need of an update, and the food served there was awful, literally the only bad meal (and wine) we had in three weeks in Italy. To make it worse, after paying good money for the stay, we were surprised to be charged €5 per person for pool towels something we didn’t learn until we were already at the pool, far from our rooms. Why not just include this in the price?
Dinner at the hotel was fine overall, but we ordered three filets medium, and all three arrived rare. I’m not sure why they even bothered asking how we wanted them cooked.

It took them 5 hours to put towels that were missing for the second person (they had only put towels for 1 person), even though we complained twice...
On Saturday, at 10:30, breakfast had already been removed despite it being the same on weekends until 11:00.
The pool, at the end of May, was still not in operation, although nothing was written when booking.
And despite having few customers, they put us in a room facing the road with hellish traffic!
The only good thing was the anti-stress massage at the SPA....
And the hotel is beautiful...

Hotel is a bit run down. Perhaps one that has seen better days. Staff do try hard though.
Room is tired looking and can do with a refresh.

Beautiful hotel. Clean rooms equipped with every comfort. Rich, quality breakfast, with a wide choice of sweet and savory options. Excellent restaurant. The spa is exceptional. I'm going back for the third time and I'm always satisfied. I will definitely go back again.
